Politics › Re: For Ruling On Buhari's Certificate, Ademola Adeniyi Under Fire From APC Chiefs by CSTR2: 2:26pm On May 30, 2016
Bleh. Nigeria is a fourth world jungle. undecided Buhari would put a call to the judge and that is how the case would be corrupted.
I would have more hope if it were in a western country. I can only imagine cameron not fulfilling constitutional requirements.
UKIP would finish him and boot him out.

Who cares if you guys are pro-Nigerian or not?

Certainly not me....... with the way you're throwing tantrums and breaking stuffs like babies. undecided

People are just about getting sick of you guys and your "our oyel" chants and mentality...... acting as if you actually opened up the ground and poured the oil in it.

Na una den go first discover oil for dem region?
Throwing tantrums?lol. I am not in your useless country and i could care less.
I am just sad though at what these people are going through and for what? It is not like the country has any hope. The oil will not do much good anyway, not with the level of dysfunctionality and immiscibility.
Ofcourse, you don't care if they actually like Nigeria. You just keep shouting one-Nigeria, while the resources of unwilling people are being wasted .
And yes, it is their resources and their oil. If the niger-delta was a sovereign state, the ownership of those resources would not be argued. Texans for example, would not allow their oil revenues and jobs go to another american state.
You have been parasitizing on these poor people for decades, and you don't even realize how lucky you guys are. And to make it worse, have developed a very wrong sense of entitlement.

When you brazenly display weapons, give support to militants and support bombings in your region, you're bound to invite such treatments to yourself.

It's basic sense but some people need to learn.
Yes, deploy your crappy WW2 jets to the niger-delta and all is well with Nigeria again.
Nigeria will cease to be a fourth world nation with disenchanted citizens. The niger-delta would suddenly become pro-Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Biafra Remembrance Day In Onitsha: Heavy Military Presence In Onitsha by CSTR2: 1:51pm On May 30, 2016
Anybody with a brain can see that Nigeria has no hope. There is nothing buhari can do about it. Given what we know about the man, he would probably make it worse.
There is no hope for a nation with this kind of deeply rooted foundational issues like Nigeria. Why are we then wasting our time and that of our children?

You simply are confused about your want within the Nigerian space.
If you think you can still get that kind of vintage position you had under GEJ in Nigeria, perish the thought.
GEJ was a mistake that will never happen again
It's not the strongest specie of animal that survives, but the animal that easily adapts to change.
I hope you don't think the yorubas have a vintage position. That belongs to the fulanis. The same people who murder scores of people, worship cows over humans and are mostly suited for the 19th century. Those are the people you would rather have at the vintage position.
Btw, what exactly has changed ?To slither about like a serpent co-toeing to fulani supremacy like the SW has done is no big deal.We did it before and we can do it again. But for how long?
The destiny of generations unborn is being mortgaged.

You don't expect the US to entrust her military personnel to a Chinese jet.

Look at these mofos. Their way or the high way.
And these are the animals some generational cowards wants us to compromise for.
These guys are deluded if they think sharing a country with them is an enticing concept.
I won't be surprised if they honestly believe every southern region wants one Nigeria as badly as the SW.

Literature › Re: Which African Writer Wrote Better Than Chinua Achebe? by CSTR2: 9:14am On May 06, 2016
How can anybody expect Achebe to win a Nobel.?
This was the same person that eviscerated the racist book written by Joseph comrad called "heart of darkness", that was sort of like a European Bible those days. A book portraying Africans as sub human and incapable of rational thought.
Achebe spoke against the racist white establishment of those days and they angered by his guts, paid him back by denying him the Nobel.
He didn't win a Nobel, but he is by far the most globally respected, most popular, and most translated African writer of all times.

the report never said the soldier(s) was/were suspected to be from hausa/fulani. our forcemen is something else in this nation irrespective of tribe. only very few of them are of sound mind. You can hardly question their decision(duty or not), they are not normal.
Then it is the force men you should focus on and not the people.

the governor's action is right but directed at the wrong issue. soldiers weren't defending an ethnic group here, a soldier killed a civilian, their action should have been directed at the soldiers or any security formation, not fellow civilian wey dey sit down jejeli.
The governor action is proactive though
This is not the first time this happened. There are established evidence of Fulani soldiers defending their criminals even In other parts of the country.
You can choose to play the ostrich in your own land when dealing with Fulani criminals , but don't ask Igbos to play the same game.
Mind your business.

Less than intelligent action to mayhem. The state government has done nothing positive to quell the conflict, what was the immediate cause of conflict? An indisciplined soldier, what was the response of the people? They killed innocents and what does the pathetic state government do? They ask for militia. Typical kneel jerk response from our governments. I hope they don't slaughter us all one day.
There is no sane country in the world where soldiers support their ethnic in a civil discord.
So you have more serious problems than a governor trying to protect his people.
But then, trust Nigerians to ignore more serious problems for irrelevance.

This is exactly how a governor in that country should act . Take the bull by the horn and give no quarters when dealing with mad men.
Unlike that disgrace of a governor in Enugu who was trying to be progressive in a jungle.

Zik was one man, who died and gone.
When ojukwu was rallying the igbo nation, zik was somewhere hibernating because his opinion meant nothing.

bros for your info, death get levels, the death you get when you get stoned and killed by a mob is different to the one that you get when you die from a gun shot.

bros no try this northerners, I can relate how they mob and kill under the slightest provocation walahi, and you know the worse is that the security agencies would turn a blind eye and give them hours before doing their job

Who loses, I think we southerners lose cos we have properties and investments in the north, the average northerner has his kiosk where he sells and sleeps in.

Say No to Violence
But they kill people who are going on their own business. In other words, being violent or passive does not stop them from killing people.
How then do you put the fear of God into them.?By putting your neck on the block?.That is a cowardly move that solves nothing.
There is a reason why the united states and other great nations reply terrorism with overwhelming force. That is because madness only answer to madness.

Being passive does not stop them from killing people as you can see, so it is better to actually go down fighting. There is no true peace without some form of confrontation and an ''enough is enough'' mentality.
But then you need to be a man to understand that.

While humongous China is busy claiming lands everywhere, even the ones they have no right to, this old man is busy cementing the cowardly agreement signed by state traitors like OBJ.
They tell us buhari is a strong man and a general, but the only times where we see the so called general in action are in situations where strength and brute force were counter productive.

I faced a similar scenario, though I already had a first class degree in chemical engineering with a CGPA of 4.83.
I applied for a Msc scholarship to imperial college, United Kingdom.
MY sponsor who saw the strength of my transcript knew I would be offered a PHD program but didn't tell me for fear of me bolting.
I later got a correspondence from the University asking me to run a PHD program., and I was absolutely dumbfounded. I was barely 23 years old, fresh off a bachelors program, exhausted from the rigors of long hours of study , and now being asked to run a PHD.!!!
I did the PHD program anyway, and excelled, and I think you will too.
You just need to prepare to work very hard, be quick witted, and open your mind to absorb knowledge like a sponge. And most importantly, plagiarism is your worst enemy over there.
Avoid it. Good luck

Production test just begun yesterday 3rd May 2016 in deep offshore. Production from the wells will stabilize and be optimized within the next few weeks. Lagos state may not be entitled to derivation if the oil field is waters more than 200m depth. In that case, the whole country becomes the catchment area and not a particular state.
I don't care. Even with all the oil in the world, your country is too dysfunctional to ever work.
Though I would certainly be happier if these means Yorubas begin to work towards their own independent country and give Biafrans a breathing space.
