Go and sit down my friend. If you don't like the praise, get away from this thread. We only need Igbo well wishers here not children of hate, envy and wickedness.

Great Igbo Race...haters jump into the dirty lagoon!
You are the igbo hater, not me.
Reveling in mediocrity. For an ethnic group with one of the highest collective IQs one can find in subsaharan africa, a mere mall should not be a big deal. Infact, it is an insult to me as an igbo man.
Wake me up when you start applying igbo sense in the homegrown application of modern science and technology and getting your people into the 21st century.
I hope you know 1000 malls will not turn igboland into germany.
Romance › Re: Any Guy Who Doesn't Have A House And A Car Should Not Get Married Or Even Date! by CSTR2: 8:47pm On Mar 20, 2016
I absolutely agree. Times have changed. To live a decent and comfortable life is now very expensive.
Which is why I really can't understand why a man will want to entangle himself with marital stress when his finances are not stable. It is just bewildering.
Even when i was in college, i had friends already planning marriage with their girlfriends. shocked Guys with no job and an abysmal CGPA. angry
It is hard for many people to focus on one thing at a time. Luckily for me i never had that problem.
Stayed away from irrelevant romantic relationships, got my first class, got a pretty good job in an oil servicing firm and yet i still find myself wondering if it is enough for the responsibility to come.
Marriage, especially the responsibility that comes with it is scary. The fact that people jump into it is even scarier.

Lolz...can u explain what is peaceful about requesting to compromise the sovereignty of a nation?

I'm sure ur past kins called those who advised them against their decisions "daft and naive"....and in then end, they must have taken back their words and realised they were the naive ones after seeing the outcome of their decisions.

Please, let's stop fooling ourselves, Nigeria is in deep sh*t because of the kinda pple we are generally. Not because of one religious violence that u pple always use as excuse. If the violence was really what was bothering u, u woulda just stayed and worked in ur own territory. I bet if Biafra secedes today, you'd still see igbos flocking in numbers to the "zoo" they hated so much.

U are d one being naive here. Don't let greedy leaders that wanna control all d SE/SS resources make u their puppet and human shield. They'ld still rob "Biafra" blind and won't care about ordinary folks like u.
The right to the self determination is a right guaranteed under the UN charter which Nigeria is a signatory to.
Your president is currently undermining the sovereignty of israel and morrocco, nations far prosperous and powerful than Nigeria, which means he himself believes in self -determination.
Don't worry about biafran leaders. It is a bridge to be crossed when they get there.

I live in Qatar and you could not be more wrong. Can't speak for Kuwait.......Do you know the number of conglomerates and companies that are thriving here Cos of the relaxed tax and business friendly laws? Doha is a commercial Centre of the world. All these countries you mentioned may be popular but are plagued with more problems than you can imagine. UK that takes half your paycheck or poverty stricken Brazil..... China and Russia.....really?
Quatar is an oil-rich nation and nothing else.
What exactly do they produce that is of benefit to the world? Are they producing any kind of technology?
They are just fortunate to have a lot of oil and very little population so there is a surplus of superflous wealth.
They have not added anything to the development of mankind.
Atleast brazil is known for the latest tech in biodiesels and bitechnologies.

Stop this rubbish. It is embarrasing.
Countries of less than 10 million people are producing fighter jets and maglev trains.
What has the igbo nation of over 30 million people done?
Yes, i know the whole story of how Nigeria is a zoo. Still not an excuse really.

Reallyhuh! Enlightenedmindhuh?? Qatar. Kuwait. Oman Bahrain. Rich countries with wonderful people and a great economy. I have lived in three of these countries and currently in one. There is a mix of everyone from American to British to Indian and Filipinos. There are clubs. There are bars. Nobody sends you so as long you obey their laws.....no public intoxication and don't harrass their women. They don't play with their women....but hey believe whatever the western media keep telling you and don't "enlighten" your mind. These Arab nations never islamize their sides and na Nigeria go islamize? And christians are the 'tolerant' ones? Ha!
There is really very little to emulate in quatar and kuwait.
They are just lazy countries selling more oil than they need to and spending it on vanities and sexual perversion. And they are fortunate enough to have tiny populations too.
They are not significant nations in real terms. More like pleasure resorts for hardworking nations.
The united states, germany, UK ,France, brazil, russia , china, japan are nations that matter and they all have one thing in common- Very little islam.

The rise in oil is due to a fall in Nigeria's production, probably as a result of vandalism or government incompetence. Either way, there is nothing good about this.
Saudi arabia, the biggest OPEC producer has been going steady in their own oil production.

Nah mate, what is obvious is that you're all suffering from a chronic delusion of grandeur, and you're obviously screwed because while you seek to secede out of the frustration of being dominated politically, your elites are struggling to occupy political offices in the same Nigeria.

What is the essence of 'proximity' to the oil rich regions when the oil is owned by the FG (made up of the same northerners/westerners you so despise) and controlled by the same 'illiterate' northerners who hold the oil blocs? Are the hordes of ibo gala sellers, ritualists, armed robbers, prostitutes, baby factory merchants and drug pushers/couriers that swarm our cities educated? Of what use are they to the Nigerian society? They're a plague just as useless as the criminal fulani herdsmen and boko haram terrorists if you have not realized it. You people are mostly ignored whenever you start your chest-beating chants and ridicule of other ethnicities and their challenges, because we know it is ingrained in your DNA and its a manifestation of the cross-generational war scars from the defeat you suffered in our hands over 50 years ago.

Don't take offence, you called for this reality check.
Ofcourse, you are now agreeing to my point.
The illiterates northerners in charge of niger-delta oil can never portend anything good which is why your earlier statement of developing Nigeria is fool's dream.
Gala sellers are definitely not plagues. They add more to the economic process than all your northern cobblers and suya merchants.
Baby merchants as bad as they are, are not part of Nigeria's major problems, not by a long stretch.
Drug dealing criminals f igbo origin are definitely not based in Nigeria. Infact most of the things that northerners get high on are things like glue and sewers shocked, and the most drug addicted states are in the north and the SW. So i seriously don't know how igbos are of any serious problem to Nigeria.
The north on the other hand are breeding terrorists by the millions. Decades of chronic poverty and radical islam and illiteracy has rendered the north a serious plague on not only Nigeria but the rest of west africa.
Two of the most deadliest terrorists groups in the world are in the north of Nigeria. And to make it worse has fostered a sick northern leadership on the rest of the progressive south. Paedophiles and radicalists can never develop any country, not in a million years.
Issues like fiscal federalism, PIB have been quashed by the north. policies that any half brained individual knows Nigeria will not move an inch without them. The north is sick and has made Nigeria sick.
And it is also not surprising that fulanis are not duly represented in global technical positions that require skill. They just don't have it.
Btw, the seccession struggle by some igbo groups is definitely interesting to an unbiased mind. It did not have this level of widespread supoprt even in the past 16 years of non-igbo leadership. Ofcourse, anybody with a brain knows it is not just a surface issue of an igbo presidency.
But then, pigs would fly before a fulani becomes rational.

These will all be done. However going by your nasty attitude towards others and political myopia, it will never be done by an easterner.

Ask yourself why you are the only irritants in a country of over 250 tribes.
Indeed you are like the rest of your ilk. Totally oblivious of the pit Nigeria currently is.
You have the probably Nigeria's most productive population looking for out of the country. With very little loyality to NIgeria. And we are not talking about some random docile ethnic, but Nigeria's most enterprising, holding a huge chunk of Nigeria's best minds, and with close proximity to its oil-rich region. The presidency as we all know is definitely not their priority. They are too engaged for that. Any attempt to suggest otherwise is a means to shy away from core issues or a form of blackmail.
And then We have a largely illiterate north who unfortunately have an army of almajiris to swell their voting rank dictate policy on issues like fiscal federalism and national reforms.
And also We have the worst plague any nation can have- the fulani, wrecking untold havoc and calamity on Nigerians from north to south. Metamophosizing as cattle rustlers and bokoharam.
You are fulani who is obviously more educated than the average fulani in politics including the president which is not saying much anyway. It is obvious why Nigeria is seriously screwed.
