The US is more of a stealth in recent times. That is the direction of military research in the US. '
Anything being built for the US military must be as stealthly as possible.
Go in do the job and leave without anybody knowing.
Russia is still in the era of the '' louder it is , the fearful it becomes''.

Why are they not asking him to explain the economic policy of his CBN governor with regards to ATMs and its imparts on the naira and the economy.?
Why are they not asking him questions on the general job loss in the country due to lack of forex and what he is trying to achieve?
How would he deal with the threat of foreign airlines to vacate Nigeria next year?
Nigerian cities were recently invaded by benin republic. What was Nigeria's response?
What is the FG govt plan to contain the Fulani cattle menance?
These are the questions that should be asked. Will hijab and whatnots put food on the table of Nigerians?

Sorry, there is nothing he would say I would take serious.
No serious president would do that.

Igboland must defend that company with everything. Very strategic indeed.
We can even build defence industries on the foundation of innoson.
Politics › Re: Now That Crude Is Gradually Becoming Worthless, What Next For Niger Delta? by CSTR2: 10:05am On Dec 30, 2015
The SS in the years to come may constitute the greatest burden on the Nigerian state even more than the north-east.
So much resources plundered. so much wealth wasted, Functional ecosystem of both flora and fauna destroyed, and poverty and illiteracy rising.
Nigeria is a wicked country. angry

Disappointing. No-wonder those that can wants to secceed.

When will waiters ever task their vestigial brains for once?

The question is is the amount of weapon available and the quality commensurate with the amount expended so far on ammunition purchase?
Exactly. The Nigerian military is too corrupt.
A $3billion defence and yet with no single 4.5G jet. The airforce is a complete joke when the likes of ethiopia are doing much better with a quarter of that budget.
I hope to see modernization of the armed forces in terms of procurements and training under buhari given the same budgetary allocation. That is the only way to know if anything has changed.

eye4eye:
If almighty Israel can send a corrupt Prime Minister to prison, what is stopping Nigeria from sending Obasanjo and Jonathan to prison?

Buhari needs to put on his combat suit and make a scapegoat out of Jonathan especially with his financial recklessness of the last six years.
I can see you stylishly avoided mentioning OBJ the man responsible for the infamous halliburton scandal and gross embezzlement of billions of dollars of power funds.
I don't know whether to call you a tribalist or a coward or both.

What is this one saying?

Important roads, hospitals, and some government artifacts in Akwa-Ibom and Cross river are named after some notable sons and daughters of Akwa/Cross. In fact, you'd see more Igbo monuments in Lagos than in Akwa/Cross or even anywhere else in SS for that matter. That is why I don't know why you Igbos hate Yorubas so much. Those people are very accommodating. No Igboish sounding name can even dare to vie for ordinary councilor in the SS (minus Delta and Rivers upland areas)
Also when mentioning notable Akwa/Cross sons and daughters, nowhere will you hear of that Effiong guy. And yes we have a lot of respected men and families in Akwa/Cross.
Still tends to the aftermath of the civil war politics.
Effiong was the most influential in akwa-cross area at the time of civil war. He was the leader.
Ofcourse, i am not surprised if there are not monuments of him there. Post Civil war politics was at play.
How many monuments does ojukwu even have in the SE?

Oga Ika's ancestry is traced to the Bini, so is the Kwales and other groups. They still maintain they aren't Igbos and you are here forcing them. They didn't support Biafra
Yes with majority names like ifeanyi okowa, chukwuka, onyeka, olisa e.t.c , i am sure that is very bini in nature. grin
Of course, they were some benin settlers who mixed with the majority igbo ethnics there. But then it is a still majority igbo enclave.

These people like opening old wounds. My maternal grandfather was head of war canoe house as at that time, he told me few stories which weren't pleasant. My paternal grandma, my dad and uncles also said lots of unpleasant stories as regards the uncivil war that was due to Ojukwu's Biafra occupation. These stories were from experience they had and witnessed. Biafran agitators should be guided.
And what of the people that lost over 2 million innocent lives and were starved to death due to uncoventional war tactics of the Nigerian govt?
Who has tended to their wounds?
Politics › Re: Glaring Difference Between Igbo And Biafra by CSTR2: 9:43am On Dec 29, 2015
Nigerians are fond of giving priority to the wrong things. Focusing on symptoms and forgetting the cause. The modern biafran agenda i believe is a form of agitation or revolution against poor national governance.
It is just one of the many symptoms of a poorly governed state. Just like me, you may not agree with its format, but that is what it is , a revolution against backward governance.
It is left for the Nigerian govt to pick up the gauntlet and prove that Nigeria is not a zoo and true development can happen.

ANIOMA is not an ethnic group. It is a term for people in Delta North. Asaba is part of Anioma and they supported Biafra but the Ikas and others don't. As for Effiong, even his own people are not proud of him. They are only happy that he surrendered.

He was absolutely on his own as Ojukwu's 2ic
Of course, anioma is not an ethnic group. They are a subsets of a bigger ethnic group.
If Ika did not SIGNIFICANTLY support the biafran agenda, then why did murtala muhammed carry out a spree of vengeful anti-biafran cold blooded murders in the part of Nigeria and most parts of anioma.?
It is not totally correct to say that IKA overwhelmingly supported or supports biafra, it is also very wrong to say they didn't.

Tell them pls! Nobody gives a hoot about him in the Akwa/Cross community. No monuments erected in his honour, no memorials, nothing whatsoever. Ojukwu only lured him with promises of being 2nd in command in a new country and he stupidly followed.
How many akwaibom or crossriverians have monuments erected in their honour, let alone a seccessionist?
The Nigerian govt would have discouraged such outrightly. They didn't even want to give him a national burial.
The politics of the civil war after-math that made some people deny their igbo heritage is enough to remove any memory of biafra from the akwa-cross area.

TonyeBarcanista:
Which SS group supported Biafra? You can say 'Asaba supported Biafra' but not ANIOMA because Ika and other groups never did.

As for SS, our demands are literally the same. I did an article on that. For Ogoni, haha, they want fiscal autonomy within Nigeria same with other SS groups. The ND Republic is a 'Proposal' by some people and honestly, it is a viable alternative
The biafran agenda of ojukwu was supported by SS groups in the akwa-cross area. His deputy was definitely from there.
Anioma is one, sorry. With one political and socio-economic agenda. You cannot divorce asaba from anioma.
Of course, the general igbo identity is still a controversy there, but it dosen't affect their common anioma identity.
I really don't know how receptible they are to biafra , some of them want it, some of them don't, but they sure as hell are not going for any phantom niger-delta republic.
The ogoni wants a seperate nation. That is as clear as day.

Maybe the Asaba people are also settlers in DElta state. Are you aware that Akwa Ibom is an articial creation? Are you aware that Anambra has Indigenous Igala people?
I am waiting for one of them to tell us the anioma is not part of the SS.
The igbo ethnic already have legitimate foothold in the so-called SS. Nothing they can do about it and it pains them to admit it.

@OP you need to remove your mask. Ijaw and ALL ethnic nationalities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Cross river and Akwa Ibom are NOT and has never been Biafrans.

2. When Ojukwu declared is Biafra, he was Governor of Eastern state that exclude Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and Cross river. Old Rivers and Old Cross river were already created by Gowon.

3. We(SS) fought against Biafra because it was Ojukwu and his majority Igbo backers project.

4. Biaffra is an Igbo agenda though I may agree that not all Igbos are pro-Biafrans, but majority are. #Fact

Politics › Re: US Opts To Buy Nigeria’s Crude, Says Kachikwu by CSTR2: 8:00am On Dec 29, 2015
Nigerian leaders are incredibly low IQ afflicted. Oil is never coming back up anytime soon except maybe in the advent of WW3. Selling crude now would be far below its real and intrinsic value and would be akin to giving it away for nothing.
The sensible thing to do is to stop oil exports and look for a way to exploit the entire value chain in Nigeria.
Crude oil has nearly a thousand derivates that are as economic viable as exporting the raw crude ,and the Nigerian crude deposits is not that huge to be wasted on cheap exports.
