And your bloodthirsty president is looking to add innocent protesters in the east to the bloody brew.

Good that you have finally begun to agree.
I think you meant the other way round as far as sharing blame is concerned. Have you blamed GEJ for buhari's illiteracy yet?.

Rubish
It is the bitter truth.
True federalism is not a priority of the SW.
As long as buhari has osinbanjo and the rest of the SW hordes in his govt, true federalism be damned.
Buhari will shitt and it will smell like roses to our yoruba people.

The point is simple, the SW and SE and SS wants true federalism. The only way it can be achieved is by working together to overrule the north which is sitting on its realisation; the surest way not to achieve it is by the SE and SW accusing each other and being on each other's necks as has always been the case since time immemorial.
I don't think everybody wants true federalism, atleast not like the SE does.
Voting for a man who is predictably anti-true federalism is not a way to show you want true federalism,
Infact, i think if anybody decides to run against buhari and promises true federalism. the SW would still vote buhari.
I think the SW is just interested in what butters their bread regardless of how shortsighted . As long as it gives them a marginal advantage over the rest, they are satisfied.

Bro, the NW and NE are the only major blocks against true federalism in Nigeria (for obvious reasons). As much as they have a large population and representatives, they do not outnumber the other zones in Nigeria. But do you know the reason why true federalism cannot be achieved?... It is because of the foolishness of the SE and SW who are always on each other's necks and will never unite in this singular purpose to push for true federalism. As long as the SE and SW continue to fight each other like 2 scorned wives married to the same chief, the north would continue to have the upper hand and laugh at us.

Meanwhile, just the same way the SE was mute on this subject when Jonathan reigned (because the SE appeared favoured), the SW is now mute under Buhari because they think they are now favoured; it's common sense bro. By the way, I don't know what you mean by your last sentence about me being 'dishonest,' I don't even know how that applies to what we are saying here.
The SE have never been mute on true federalism even in GEJ's government.
It was SE economic experts and advisers in jonathan's govt that convinced him to have a confab and push for true federalism.
SE have always been direct with thier demand for true federalism. Even the confab itself was a testament to it.
We are not snakes that lose sight of the bigger picture because our preferred govt is in power for now.

Trying to make a joke out of Jonathan's failure doesn't reduce the impact of his incompetence one bit.

The fact remains that the ineffectual buffoon is the source of our economic challenges today and a million sarcastic threads cannot change it. Bow your heads in shame for attempting to prolong his cluelessness.

Meanwhile, have you praised Ali Modu Sherriff today?
The over 40 years of fulani rule and wasted trillions of dollars is insignificant. Even the baboon of ota's 8 year rule is nothing.
Let us all blame GEJ's 5.5 year government.

The last time I checked, the SE and SS and SW asked for the same thing in the last confab. The only thing the SW opposed was the return of an ineffective weak leader called Jonathan who watched helplessly for years as his friends plundered the nation's wealth; except you are saying a 'Jonathan presidency' is your own definition of restructuring the nation, I don't understand what you mean by this statement.
If jonathan was supposedly the problem, then why haven't the SW pushed for true federalism under buhari?
Afterall, Buhari is their president and this is their preferred govt.
Buhari recently overruled the confab reports with the SW as mute as a donkey.
You are a very dishonest human being and with people like you in that country shying away from the bitter truth like cowards, then there is no hope in sight.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Donald Trump And The US Presidency by CSTR2: 8:57pm On Feb 22, 2016
maestroferddi:
There is a generally held belief that Obama's presidency has whittle down American supremacy.

Rivals like China, Russia and even some EU countries like France and Germany are no longer that submissive to American hegemony.

From the foregoing, American are looking for a leader whose persona would strike fear/awe in the heart of adversaries and rivals alike.
I know of this and it is erroneous too.
Look at the russian-ukraine scenario. I don't even think a maverick like donald trump would engage in a military conflict with russia because of ukraine.
Since obama could not realistically go for the military option, he went for the more efficient, bloodless economic option- Which is to bring down the price of oil and cripple russian economic power.
An economicaly weak america can never be able to tame powers like russia and china where the military option is very unrealistic and costly especially in lives.

Don't get deluded. Hilary will not be president as it is too soon for a female American president.

All Trump needs is to clinch the GOP ticket. The dynamics will change should he be squaring up against Hilary, a totally uncharted territory.

Americans appear enchanted by Trump's candidature:forget the noise some people are making.
Many people also said america was not ready for her first president of colour until obama won.
Hilary is a thoroughbred who knows how the terrains of american politics. She is the most experienced of them all and americans know it too.
And americans are smart enough not to hand over the reins of their country to an unpredictable maverick.
Forget all the excitment about trump,it is expected for now especially among the conservatives. When push comes to shove, americans will go for predictability.
The vast majority don't want a president who would go war at the brink of an eye at the expense of the economy.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Donald Trump And The US Presidency by CSTR2: 8:33pm On Feb 22, 2016

Donald Trump is an achiever and therefore will make a good president.

He says it the way it is as typical maverick.

Americans are not driven by cheap sentiments. They are angling for a president that will restore American position as the sole superpower and that man is "The Donald".

It is basically outsiders like Nigerians and other minorities that are making all the noises: Americans have known Trump for such a long time and care less about what his traducers are making people believe.
America is not in a competition with anybody in real terms.
There is no force on earth that has as much influence and power as america and the singlest biggest reason is the sophistication and influence of the american economy backed by the powerful dollar.
Any leader that wants america to remain the only superpower must pay more attention to economy than military up-arming which is already too far ahead of the competition anyway.
And i fear a tough-talking ,outspoken maverick like donald trump is not what they need now.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Donald Trump And The US Presidency by CSTR2: 8:14pm On Feb 22, 2016
Trump will clinch the GOP nomination. He is far ahead of his competitors in the republican party whether Nigerians like it or not.
Though he will get spanked by hilary clinton in the general elections as every single american liberal including the latino populations would be voting against him.

I pray Obiano works in tandem with Tinubu to get a higher political office in future because Obiano is a rare gem and Tinubu Na godfather either we like it or not
He can work with whoever, as long as he does not defect to APC during his tenure, thereby mortaging the future of anambra on tinubu's table and weakening APGA.
He can defect though after his tenure, though i think obiano is not the type to pander to godfathers.

1) Let's make peace with the Federal Govt, they hold the key to our success. If they Ban importation of shoes, we will sell faster and better.

2) Let's us be wary of Ben Bruce and Saraki, they are using us to score cheap political points because the Economy is Bad!

3) Let's advertise our products well and look for other means to sustain ourselves!

Why are some of you so dishonest and so ethically bankrupt to the extent you are always willing to ignore the factual truth to then be postulating your own wild fantasies? What on earth, even in your wild fantasy world, makes the SE the most prepared region to "adjust to life after the end of money spinning era of petroleum"? Do you know actually understand what natural and human resources endowment is that puts the SW in good stead to be the most successful region if it were on its own? Do you know that Cocoa, produced in the SW, is Nigeria's second biggest foreign exchange earner after oil? They have shown you the statistics, facts and indisputable argument many times and in many different ways yet you guys still come here with your riff-raff fantasies and delusions about some 'greatness' reality does not bear out. Continue wallowing in your delusions and baseless chest-beating. It is what people like you, to your own detriment, are now famous for.

ermmm. i have been reading without commenting yet, but i just got curious.
In what possible universe, is the SW more blessed than the SE in terms of human resources like you just implied.?
I don't even want to go into the aspect of natural resources in which you also made a fallacious statement.

So where is the ''political damage'' and how is it different from before?
The igbo nation is still and should be focused on communal socio-economic devt. That is what your people should be focused on, not kissing political behinds and sliding into almajirization.
