It happened in my second semester engineering drawing exam. It was a very easy course and i did it excellently. On my way to submit my drawing sheet there was a stampede because the examiner threatened to leave the hall, in the whole brouhaha one idiott just somehow got my paper torn badly. I cellutaped it but the damage had already been done and my engineering drawing lecturer is very particular with neatness of work. After the results came out, i checked mine and saw a funny result. All A's and one F. The guy just stopped me from getting a neat 5.0. My friends and classmates were asking me ''how come na?''. I was livid with anger.I retook the paper and i got my A. |

A region with the most business oriented idealogy and industrial zones like NNewi and aba is systematically marginalized out of a decent airport, and somehow some people believe Nigeria has a chance in hell of becoming a global industrial and economic powerhouse? Keep dreaming. |

iyeyemi: With people like you around, I honestly don't see any hope for either nigeria or your treasured biafra! Hopefully one day you will grow up and maybe you will have the intellectual capacity to grasp the idea of being humane and not linking unrelated events. There is nothing unrelated here. The common parrallel between both is that you have a very unprofessional security apparatus both the police and the military. They unleash mayhem on innocent protesters and you all cheer them on. Well, the thing is after these trigger happy security officials finish with the so-called IPOB, then they would turn their brutality on the rest of you. |

ddippset: The thing I love só much about President Buhari is his immunity to wailings! I have seen him as a man who does whatever it is he's going to do. pdp just be ready. It's a selective anti corruption fight, só what are you going to do about it? You had 16 years in power yet you couldn't even prosecute opposition leaders. And now you're pulling down the man who's at it. Yes Tinubu is untouchable, Amaechi is untouchable, Silva is untouchable, do your worst! And when PDP regains power, the culture of impunity would have been set and your so-called change leaders and those that voted for them would be at the receiving end. |

Why can't you make your points without insults like a sane human like everyone else here?
Have you seen Americans throw ethnic slurs, religious insults and personally attack any candidate and his region like Ibos did to Buhari and the North during campaigns? Have any band of Americans been so silly and foolish to put all their eggs in one basket and vocally reject a whole political party (especially one that has the numbers)? Buhari is ensuring you reap what you sowed, jump in the lagoon if you can't take it. You are an ignorant toad. Check out various discourse between republican and democratS voters and see how heated it always is and sometimes very dirty. That is human nature. Your president is supposed to know better. IPOB momentum is a consequence of your president's stupidditty. |

What did you contribute to Buhari's presidency? Did you not work passionately to ensure his Presidency does not even exist? 5% is considerate and your hatred is welcome because it is contained inside of you and thus, can consume you alone. And what would buhari do if he were the american president facing fierce opposition from fervent republican states like texas and media giants like fox? Is the concept of choice alien to whatever backwater you hail from? Are you people in a democracy at all.? Does your president have any idea about anything called ''inclusive governance''? Zoharariel: Wait! You mean people are still going to the US for studies with the collapse of their educational system & their grossly overrated Colleges & Universities?
Even my dog will not go to America for medical check-up, let alone education. An education in the US is very expensive which is probably why many international students cannot afford to go there. In terms of quality and world class research content, US universities have no rival. The top 50 universities in the world is dominated by the US with the US claiming the overwhelming majority of the top 10 category. The annual budget of a single US ivy league school is bigger than Nigeria's entire annual education budget. |

Light Amplification by the Systemic Emmission of Radiation(LASER) technology is becoming the in thing now in the field of modern warfare. Very cheap and in exhaustible concentration of energy focused towards a given target. Definitely cheaper than missiles. I am sure the US, who have the most advance laser technology in the world must be working on an ICBM model which would be mind blowing, both scientifically and militarily. |

huptin: I like your optimism. Just as Gowon answered to them after murdering millions of people, or Omar Bashir of Sudan has answered for killing millions of people in Darfur? If the US/UN really cared just a phone call would have been enough to secure the release of Nnmadi Kanu. The truth is the US dont care about Biafra, they never will, in this life all animals are equal but some are more equal than the others. The north attracts the attention of the world because of the growth of islamic fundamentalism, Biafra in the real sense has no allies, the FG knows this thats why they fire at protesters at will, knowing that nothing will happen. Wrong. The SE has just not courted the required attention yet. Which is why it may seem the US is silent on that matter. The shia muslims have no allies in the west but for the fear of islamic fundamentalism that may break out again in Nigeria. A restive SE would court the attention of the United states who have a moral responsibility to speak and act against human rights violations anywhere in the world. Don't worry, your FG is on the way to activate that level of attention for the SE. |

huptin: Did u just say US? Lol. The same US that has not even acknowledged the death of the people at Onitsha bridge head but quickly released a statement whenthe shiites were killed? Forget US they dont give a Bleep a out Biafra, they have absolutely nothing to gain from it. The truth is Nnamdi Kanu and his band of followers does not have anything to ruffle the feather of Nigeria except of course the blood of their followers, and the Nigerian government is not really averse to shedding blood as recents events demonstrated. The US and indeed the UN have acknowledged the biafran issue. Infact i think the biafran issue is the top-most agenda concerning Nigeria at the UN right now. The US is watching definitely and any wide-spread tumult beyond a certain limit would draw elicite a reponse. Unlike the largely peaceful christian south-east,The shia got a quick response from the US due to the bokjoharam-northern Nigeria connection. The US will not condone the creation of another bokoharam. If the Nigerian govt decides to go on a murdering spree in the South-east because of their peaceful nature, then they should be ready to answer to the UN and the US when the south east begins to boil over. |

EbukaFran: Nnamdi Kanu is a terrorist and he will face the justice system in Nigeria
The crimes he has been accused of are punishable by hanging under the Nigerian constitution. If he is found guilty, he will be executed. Heavens will not fall, everybody will move on.
The NY Times should concentrate on telling the world how the American government deals with its enemies. Thousands were kept in Guantanamo Bay and other secret locations for over a decade without trial while they were tortured and dehumanized. They can also shed light on the rendition programmes they executed across Europe while at it.
If Nnamdi Kanu was an American fighting the American government and asking for the balkanisation of the country, he would have been killed by CIA drones with members of his family.
Nigeria is a sovereign nation and we will handle our affairs internally. Thank you. Shut trhe hell up. |
