It would take someone in moghalu calibre to salvage this country from the damage that buhari and his administration have inflicted.

If you elect anyhow person after him, I pity una.

Real talk!I don't know what is worse stealing recovered looted funds or stealing borrowed funds from foreign banks. They will be leaving in 2023, so they don't care. The next administration will be saddled with paying back the debt with interest.
The next government need to pursue after buhari and his cabals with a vengeance.

That is the first thing I expect from any government that will do well.

BTW, buhari is set to go to London for a fresh 20 days vacation.

The old tool that said he wants to stop medical tourism.

Billions of naira that should have gone into making more Nigerians escape poverty would be wasted on British soil.
Politics › Re: FG Slams N50bn Fine On Anambra For Defacing Land In Awka by CSTR2: 7:03pm On Feb 17, 2020
The federal government does not have the power to fine a state government in its own case.

Take it to court, you dumb brutes.

Whilst you wish, we've achieved.

The joke is on you.
You have been to Canada?

Hhahahaha.

What a clown.

By 2022, I would be a citizen of Canada. What goes on in Nigeria will no longer affect me directly.

If you know what is Good for you, make better electoral choices because na you and your family go suffer am.

Check it - been to over 25 countries and presently out of the country.

Tell me asides Cotonou where have you been?

Moghalu would never be president.

You guys would not oppose every single thing the presidency proposes then expect you would gain support for a candidate.

Let's place a bet, Moghalu or any candidate YOU support would never be president.
Clown.
By 2022, I should be in Canada.

You are destined to suffer, but I have family in Nigeria and I want them to enjoy a good life.

Your president is a hopeless fool.

You are so dumb that you actually believe I am the reason why he has no brain cells.

Illiterate.

If the likes of moghalu does not become president, na you go suffer am.

They cant do this to India
Why?

Because they have leverage.
Nigeria has no leverage. Any country can do us anyhow.

Leverage begins with voting people like moghalu to build your country from scratch and give it a productive footing.

Community health also have residency training. Hope you know that? & there is no way u can compare a consultant community health physician with a scientist who major in public health.
some community health physicians also specialize in epidemiology, so what are you saying?
Specialising in epidemiology is exactly what I am looking for.
That is what will make them qualified to impact knowledge to students.

A doctor does not know about pathology than an anatomist with a PhD.

Give us another analogy for O&G, Orthopaedics or Paediatrics. What specific courses do lecturers in those fields have to get a 2.5 year Phd in, to 'know better' than a consultant with a 6 year residency please?
Well, it can be streamlined.

Pure medical courses like Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dentistry, opthamology, should be based on medical experience.
Which means consultant doctors should have the required professional experience to impact knowledge.

But applied scientific courses like community health, pathology and pharmacology, medical biochemistry e.t.c should be taught by specialists.
And those people should have a PhD.

This means that you must have a PhD to teach Laws, Engineering, Accountancy, Pharmacy, Dietary, Physiology and other Professions
I am a chemical engineer.

From 400 level -500 level, only lecturers with doctorate took us in school.
300 level is for lecturers with atleast a masters.
That is the policy.

How much more in medicine that deals with human life and need highly experienced teachers.

I tire o....My brother.

One of them have been ranting all over this thread.

Nobody is downgrading residency, but is it a PhD?

If its not who cares, its the policy.
There is no way a medical doctor teaching community health knows better than a scientist with a doctorate in epidemiology on how disease is spread.

You're very ignorant is what I'd say. I don't even know how to reply you because what you're saying makes no sense. When a doctor undergoes residency in a particular field, he is already specializing in that field. The residency program is similar to a PhD program except that it's more hands on.
A medical doctor lecturer in orthopaedics should have extensive work in that field and need a PhD .
A lecture in community health should have a doctorate in public health or epidemiology.
And so on.

Residency is too general to give you that specialised training and knowledge regardless of how long it takes.

And without that training, you should not teach.
Go and work in the hospital.
Health › Re: Doctors To Embark On Nationwide Strike Over NUC’s PhD Directive by CSTR2: 12:06pm On Feb 17, 2020
So their ordinary residency = Msc +PhD?

Doctors in Nigeria are mad. No wonder they don't know anything.

I support them when they are fighting for salary increase, but not for this.

Why earn salary without the required training?

Education › Re: Impressive Stats Of Nigerian Americans And Their Academic Marvels In US (Video) by CSTR2: 8:56pm On Feb 16, 2020
90% of the top 20 companies in America have Indian CEOs, while Nigerians are slaving in the lower rung of corporate America.

Truth is bitter. Nigeria has no leverage.
Education › Re: Impressive Stats Of Nigerian Americans And Their Academic Marvels In US (Video) by CSTR2: 8:54pm On Feb 16, 2020
BTW, nobody is interested in how many degrees you have.
That will not give the Nigerian diaspora leverage.

If Nigeria is a shitthole, then you are at best an asylum seeker in the eyes of America.

China and India have degrees too. But their real leverage is tied to the power of their native economy.
Nigerian leverage to America ended with the shale revolution.

Infosys an Indian company handles the entire US visa process, and is a strategic technical partner to IBM and Accenture.

That is real leverage.

There is no Nigerian company on that level. Big mouth and nothing else.
