DontBullshitMe:
I have a very big problem with Osibanjo's declaration.

The declaration for Presidency by Osibanjo is borne out of nothing but greediness. C'mon, this man has been in Aso rock for almost 7 years and spent about 1 of it being the President.

Isn't it obvious to him that Nigeria is fundamentally unfixable. To fix Nigeria, there are some harsh, unpopular policies that need to be executed and promoted nationwide. One of them is : to aggressively slow down population growth. Another is : coming to realization that Nigeria is not a very rich country, and taking active steps to foster industrialization so that taxation can be more aggressive.

Osibanjo himself knows he can't fix Nigeria, who is he deceiving?

A person who has never held any position of authority in Aso rock can still pardoned for thinking they can fix Nigeria on the basis of ignorance.
Nigeria is fixable, or atleast it can be repaired and allow to properly develop.

Osibanjo does not have the capacity to fix it.

He is a talker.

7 yrs as vice president, and everything is upside down.

He cannot campaign on the achievements of his principal because there are none.
Politics › Re: Why I Am Running For President - Osinbajo Declares For 2023 by CSTRR: 8:29am On Apr 11, 2022
Buhari has spent more time outside Nigeria than any other president.

Which means osibanjo has been acting president for a longer time than most vice pesidents.

What has he done with it?
What impact has he made?

The office of the vice president is currently directing a huge chunk of the economic policy of Nigeria.

Where is the positive end results?
What is the state of the economy?

If you clowns fall another yeye empty nice sounding speeches again, that is your cup of tea.

I no kuku dey feed anybody.

We all know how Nigeria politics works, deputy doesn't always have their ways or says. Especially when your boss has a cabal who sees you as a threat to their own decisions. As a deputy in Nigeria political office, you can only try, you can not dictate.
Did osinbajo tell you all this?

Where is the proof that a cabal can stop the vice president of Nigeria?

This is the same useless sentiments that you people gave us in 2015 of how buhari will fight insecurity and osinbajo will tackle the economy.

7yrs down the line, and everything is upside down.

Now you are trying to sell your ignorant people another round of bullshit so that they can suffer for the next 8 years.

When Joe Biden was running for president, he ran on the strength of what he and Obama accomplished together.
He campaigned on Obama's mandate.

Here in Nigeria, this clown wants us to vote for him on vibes and insha Allah.

And you wonder why third world nations are trapped in poverty and underdevelopment.
Politics › Re: Why I Am Running For President - Osinbajo Declares For 2023 by CSTRR: 8:20am On Apr 11, 2022
All through osinbajo speech, he could not even say one thing his government has acheived.

A vice president of 7 yrs running for president, but cannot sell us on what he has achiveved as vice president.

Incredible.

Did he not handle the economy??

What are you saying. He met $ at 220, and it's now #470 official rate, what do you call that? Isn't that handling the economy? The Pricing monitoring index (which is an indicator of how much grocery items are either increasing or reducing in an economy) in Nigeria is at the highest level than it has ever been. Infact one of the highest in the world. Again, what do you call that?

Please let's be serious, Osibanjo truly handles the economy!
Many Nigerians don't understand sarcasm though.

Some would think you are endorsing him.

That guy is just using wisdom. They never forgive him for sacking DSS boss years back. They nearly kill him. What do u want him to do. He is not in charge of economy. The cabals are. If he resigns. His political prowess wil die. He is still the best candidate in my opinion
Who nearly killed him?

Are we not in the same country?
What is so special about some people being angry with what he did?

Did Jonathan not face opposition even as president?

Osinbajo has spent 7 yrs as vice president, what exactly has he done to make your life better?

He is a vice president in charge of some key duties.
It's Constitutional. There is a lot he can do.

Or you just like voting for presidents based on vibes and insha Allah?

Suffer never tire you? You have not learnt from 2015 mistakes?

You better go and vote for Peter obi if you value the future of your children.

Yes, he is so experienced.

We can see the experience in the State of the economy.

Buhari will handle security, while osinbajo will handle economy.

Politics › Re: Bandits Take Over Taraba Villages, Rape Housewives by CSTRR: 8:31pm On Apr 10, 2022
All these case of mass rape, murders and destruction by bandits would be severely minimised if there is a militia confronting them the moment they arrive to carry out an attack.

The terrorists would be too busy confronting the FG funded local govt militas which will give the military enough time to get to the area and mop up.
Politics › Re: Bandits Take Over Taraba Villages, Rape Housewives by CSTRR: 8:24pm On Apr 10, 2022
Bandits cannot survive in a well armed populace like America for example.

They would be obliterated by the civilans themselves.

Since we cannot put arms in the hands of every Nigerian, the next best thing is to create Federal govt funded militias in every local govt as a quick response team.

It would be highly effective in the north and the South East.
Politics › Re: Bandits Take Over Taraba Villages, Rape Housewives by CSTRR: 8:21pm On Apr 10, 2022
The only thing that can solve the security issues in the north is the combo of community policing and poverty alleviation.

That is exactly what Peter Obi said and is the Most likely way to curb insecurity

The military and police is over stretched.

Let every local govt in Nigeria get indigenous personnels, trained, equipped and heavily armed by the Federal govt to respond to crisis in their communities immediately there is an issue, before the military or police comes.

It would not only reduce the initial damage done by these bandits and terrorists, it would put the fear of God in them when they know there is a well armed team in every community that will confront them.

Common sense is not common.

Christianity Etc › Re: Beautiful Picture Of Married Couples Of Jehovah's Witnesses by CSTRR: 1:17pm On Apr 10, 2022
I think there is a problem when you try to paint a Church or religious gathering as completely perfect.

That is where excessively high standards come in.

Members cannot be controlled beyond persuading them to do.what is right.
You can't force a member of any church not to fornicate or not to slap his wife.

The best you can do is to teach the word of God and hope they learn.

If you want to judge a church, then judge by the top leadership, not the members..

Because the leadership cannot give what it does not have.

Make I hear.... some of their men are very toxic and dangerous when they are not with their suit, bag and umbrella. I had one as a neighbor yrs back, his wife avoids anything that might stir up argument cuz it always ends with a slap. But once they step out for outreach they become an enviable couple.
To be fair, that goes on in every church.

We can't say rccg is bad because many of the members are hypocrites.

People can be hypocrites regardless of religious sect.
