Politics › Re: Umaru Fintiri: Atiku Will Win PDP’s Presidential Ticket by CSTRR: 9:04pm On Apr 04, 2022
Amalekki:
I don't think you are conversant with real life politics in Nigeria.
1. Atiku is not a nobody, he has a strong structure as the anchor man for late Yar'adua senior's PDM with strong network across Nigeria right from the 90s and they are the strongest of the interest groups that formed PDP. I'm talking real grassroot politicians, not online commentators.
2. You don't need to like him, they support him because his candidature supports their selfish personal/group interest. Real life politics is not based on activism or emotions.
3. You are right, the primaries is not the general elections. Atiku is a king of primaries and if the stars align he wins the general election. Same thing happened with Buhari.
4. They are not going to wreck PDP. Whatever you see today with Atiku is what PDP has always been from Day 1. PDP is even better today after their eyes cleared in 2015.
5. Peter Obi best bet in which country? Please analyze politics with clear eyes and not passion based on your immediate environment. Peter Obi adds no value because what he brings to the table is what they have always had, the SE votes. Who are his trusted allies across Nigeria? Give him the ticket and outside of the SE and SS, PDP will start competing with those INEC registered parties with no office building and with funny acronyms grin
You are the one that don't know modern politics.
Atiku is just a corrupt heavy weight.
Most people will not vote for him. He is a liability.

Buhari dealt with him across northern Nigeria even in adamawa. He is a lightweight politician with a lot of money.
APC dealt a nail in his political coffin in 2019.

Peter Obi on the other hand has the name and reputation. A name that stand for good governance all across southern Nigeria and atiku leveraged on it.
People voted for obi in 2019, and that was why pdp did well in the south, unlike atiku's gigantic failure in the north.

You would be highly mistaken if you think a moneybag politician like atiku is more viable than a peter obi in a general election.

PressMyButton:
Peter Obi in the mud
Before you start jubilating nonsense, atiku has not won yet.
These are his loyalists.

I have hope that the pdp are not complete fools and know what is best for them.

Amalekki:
Sure banker. Online no be real life. Most noisemakers on Nairaland can't even win an election against their own shoes at home and they have no PVC grin .
In the main elections, atiku is a nobody.
Nobody likes him, not even his home state.

This is talking about the primaries where selfish money bags rule.
And they are going to wreck pdp.
The primaries is not the general election.

In a general election, Peter obi is their best bet.

And that would be the burial of PDP.

Goodluck with that.

God is indeed not ungodly!
I've said it time without numbers that if the crude oil deposit we've had in the Niger delta was to be in SE, these people could have burned down Nigeria by now.
And if it were to be in the North, what would have happened?

Golan007:
Ok.

On that note, we both know Obi would not be president.
Nigeria can surprise you.
The current state of the country should be enough to wake up even the dullest of senses atleast of the majority.

If he does not win, then it would be your lose as well as the majority of the citizens.

He is already a wealthy man with a good name.
He is not losing much.

Golan007:
Fair enough.

The polls would decide.
Given the state of Nigeria and the leadership, I don't think your polls are worth anything.

Unreasonable?

grin

Why are you bringing Obi?

Must it be someone igbo or from PDP?

There's a reason why many would never take you guys serious.
No Peter obi slander would be tolerated.

He is the best candidate for me.

It's not his fault that his people have turned themselves to a joke.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Begins Urea Fertilizer Export To U.S, Brazil And Argentina by CSTRR: 1:10pm On Apr 04, 2022
Golan007:
How much money are you assuming fertilizer export from Dangote would bring into the economy annually ?
It's the second largest in the world and there is a mad rush for fertilizers.

The international price for fertilizers is between $700-$950/tonne.

And dangote produces 3 million metric tonnes a year.
If he exports 2.5 million metric tonnes, we should be getting atleast $8-$10 billion/year.

Atleast.

We want to see this reflecting in the value of the naira.

The CBN should be getting these dollars coming in.

This should be normal economic reality, but Nigeria defies logic.
Politics › Re: 2023: Why Nigerians Should Not Trust PDP With Power Again - Presidency by CSTRR: 9:08am On Apr 04, 2022
There is no difference between the APC and the pdp.

Don't allow them deceive you.

The current chairman of the APC was a prominent member of the pdp and was there throughout their so called 16 years.

The candidate that each party put forward should be the determinant.

A Peter obi running for pdp is better for Nigeria than a tinubu or Amaechi running for APC.

Nigeria is expecting two squadrons of M346A light attack aircraft from Leonardo Italy.

Something tells me it's going to see action in the South East, and it would be well deserved.

What is wrong with this emefiele?

Does he know the repercussions of this?

If banks no longer collect torn notes,it would lead to a massive hunt for new notes by Nigerians.

Many Nigerians would start rejecting currency on a massive scale.

What is going on in this country?
Why is everything so backward under this govt?

At the emboldened, Angelique Kidjo suspended her album for Burna Boy to win last year, after sending him into depression when he released the African Giant album.

Again, she deliberated delayed her album because she wanted Burna to win. If you listened to "Twice as Tall" track, you'd hear Burna rant about his Grammy sojourn and how it messed him up.
It is very possible given the way that woman was comforting burna boy when he lost to her.

A friend of mine who lived in Germany for several years came back and we both visited a place in Maitama and he asked where is this? and i answered that its Maitama and he just hissed.

See his reply, this place looks iike where the poor people in Germany live.

Asokoro, maitama and Wuse 2 are all over rated.
Germany is budgeting €100billion just for defence next year.

That is four times our foreign reserves.

Germany is rich as fuccvk, Nigeria is poor as a mudafuker.

Apart from Capetown and north African capitals, there is no where else on the continent as beautiful as Abuja.

Nigeria is poorly governed but truth has to be said.

They wasted our resources lavishly on Abuja.

I heard that too.

But they just realised a memo on how they will invest in Chelsea.

Infact, I don't even know what is best again.
I'm tired.

And the vultures are circling waiting to poach our players and coach.
