Politics › Re: FG To Spend ₦900 Billion On Fuel Subsidy In 2022 by CSTRR: 9:26pm On Jul 01, 2021
I really don't envy whoever takes over after Buhari.

The old man has messed up the system.

And what is worse is that he has appointed like-minded imbeciles to positions of great economic and political importance that would be there long after he has left power.

Baring any last minute hitch, lauretta onochie will get her political appointment in INEC.
And she is just one among many.

How many can you even sack as a new president that want to succeed?

Why not just remove the damn subsidy and let's follow the part of AGO (Auto mobile Gas oil or diesel)? Heaven will never fall.
Buhari already claimed he has removed the subsidy when fuel increased to 145/liter.

He did a Nationwide TV broadcast after removing subsidy.

There are still some people actively defending Buhari on nairaland and Twitter.

Human beings, not robots.
Politics › Re: FG To Spend ₦900 Billion On Fuel Subsidy In 2022 by CSTRR: 9:17pm On Jul 01, 2021
I thought Buhari cancelled subsidy when he increased the price of fuel by nearly triple.

And Buhari supporters hailed him then.

What is going on in this country?

9jaRealist:
Nigerians are tragically funny… sad

Diesel, which is used by transporters and truckers who carry people and food around Nigeria, is selling for N280 and people are moaning about someone saying petrol “should” (NOT will) be selling at N256 without subsidy. How exactly are the so-called “masses” benefiting from petrol subsidy in Nigeria? Even kerosene used by the so-called “masses” is NOT subsidized.

Meanwhile, Nigeria is spending TRILLIONS subsidizing petrol - more than the capital budget for each of education, healthcare, agriculture, and even roads! Literally choosing cheap fuel over better schools, hospitals and public transit systems!

Of course, a large part of that subsidized petrol is being SMUGGLED to neighboring countries for PRIVATE profit. SMH

>
.

But Buhari already cancelled subsidy.
He even made a public broadcast about it.

That's why fuel is selling for 145/litre.

Which subsidy are you talking about again?

It's a fraud to say there is no difference between the APC and the PDP.

There are big differences.

A very stupid question.

A 33 year old aunty went to visit her ex boyfriend after being engaged, and you still think there is doubt about what happened.?

A 33 year old aunty o. She is not a 22 year old child that does not know right from left.

Aunty went to seduce her ex boyfriend and get a nice goodbye bang.

If you still marry her, well, good luck to you.

Even auxiliary nurses are useful starting point for Nigerians from poor families, which is the focus of the thread. Do you see the differencehuh
If they are disciplined, avoid needless owambe parties and religious leaders who are money scammers, they can move on to the university for their nursing degree.
At the end of the day, they would still need to back it with a Bsc to make anything significant.

There are places they can't enter without a proper Bsc in Nursing.

Auxillary Nursing is a good starting point though.
Education › Re: Courses That Should Be Avoided By Nigerians From Poor Families. by CSTRR: 10:43am On Jun 30, 2021
And the nursing that is useful is not auxillary nurse grin

Nursing that is backed with a B.sc is what is useful.
Education › Re: Courses That Should Be Avoided By Nigerians From Poor Families. by CSTRR: 10:40am On Jun 30, 2021
The best courses for Nigerians are courses that don't need much human interaction but raw technical skills.

Someone that grew up all his life in aba and studied physiotherapy.

If he travels abroad, how is he going to get jobs with his heavy accent when the biggest part of the job is human interaction?

A Yoruba man that studied Economics in UI and has a thick accent.
How is he going to make it in London when you need to talk all the time?

Study Technical courses that don't need your voice or face but your hands.

Electrical/Electronics Engineering, computer Science, Nursing.

My top three, all day, everyday.

These are the courses of the future.

Any other course is nonsense.

While other presidents would use this as a national rallying cry toward unity by appealing to the East and letting them know that kanu does not represent the igbos.

We will instead see Buhari and his dumb appointees use this as a dance of ethnic supremacy.

It has started with Bashir.
