Kingspin: If you dnt have a Nigeria point plz can your senti child mouth down forever..Was jaga wrong when he said Nigeria have never had a crediable election..Be mature to understand how politice is played in this country. wake up!. Selfish have deny us unity. What's this slowpoke trying to say ? |
I have always known Odimegwu to be a boastful , loudmouthed and boisterous person .Indeed, someone earning a first class in academic institution does not always automatically mean that the same person has sound common sense. Imo state people were lucky he didn't succeed in his bid to become their governor in the 2007 election , else by now he would have ruined the state .Like Odimegwu ; Like Soludo |
Iykeponti: Plzz let dem do whatever dey wanna do in a peaceful way, i wanna bring my friends from Austria,Greece nd Italy to invest in my home town Nnewi...Nwannne mmadu, how far ! I've been trailing you for sometime now . Pls, I would like to have private discussion with you . |
Sincere 9gerian: If the reason you call someone a political jobber is because the person supports a particular candidate, then you'r also a political jobber. The only difference is that you'r doing a very poor job for your paymaster. I insist, you cannot help your paymaster by attacking those who disagree with you. That is desperation. Keep your head down and do your job.Don't mind her , she has been sounding like an empty vessel ever since she opened this particular thread- before the advent of this thread , I used to admire her because of her informative trait , but her exhibiting immature acts in this thread has caused me to ... Let me not say further . Sis moi, pls, change your style , this's not the way to go about it , try to be accommodating , logical and rational in your debates . |
FreeGlobe: I'm an insider, if you can't take the heat get the fvck out. I created this thread and I will ensure these obi sycophants do not take over this threadCommon! You're getting too abusive , take it easy before you sustain wound . |
@FreeGlobe People like you always amuse me whole lot... Your taken stances here are all illogical. What makes you an authority over this subject under discourse ? FreeGlobe = e- supper woman ; p= meek woman ... Cool down moi sis . |
FreeGlobe: Absolute nonsense, you will be disappointed, Peter Obi is no master political strategist, he won through coursts in the first place, currently he has no senatorial seat in his state and it took ojukwu for him to be reelected. If Peter obi participates in election today. he will not win talk more of his stooge.Sis moi , elections are not won on the pages of newspapers and electronic medias ... I can even bet that somebody like you doesn't have electoral value anywhere . Hey ! Currently , I don't belong to any political party , but as a practical master strategist in the game of politics and by extension in business , I'm seeing something someone like you who's just a neophyte in the game of politics can't see . |
Majority of you are political neophytes , therefore can't see beyond mere popularity of some of your presumed erudite scholars and messiahs ... For the records , influence rather than mere popularity is what wins elections. Peter Obi is a master political strategist , I know it will only take people of in-depth knowledge in practical politics to see his perfected game plan . Willy Obaino is already Anambra state governor in-waiting , this will not just be because of power of incumbency of his benefactor, no . Although , I'd wish to see either of my associates in the race " Dr Tony Nwoye or Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah " to win the election , but Obi's sagacity is going to hinder them from achieving that , save if anyone of them goes back to the drawing board to re-strategize taking advantage of the only single flaw I'm seeing in Peter Obi's game plan . |
Somorin#1:Hey ! I don't like to join issues with dumb ass like you ! What you don't know is bigger than you . |
Jenny = An e- supper woman ; p- meek woman . |
steph7: I feel we Nigerians are our own greatest enemy, those of you saying those in diaspora should come back and help, do our corrupt practices make it easy. say for instance, you want to tar road in your community, the local tout will come and harrass you for matching ground and collect money from you in all sorts of guises, even though the road you are construct will benefit the community. Nigeria has the potential for greatness, so at times its really annoying when we get the basics right such as water, which is seen as nothing by those in diaspora.Sis, so you have also joined the DPC ( Diaspora Pretension Clique ) ! You lot amuses me . Who dash a poo carrier like you money ... fiction is different from facts , I can assure you , when you finally got elevated from your current sorry-living-status to a normal human living standard and have money to help your community back home to either tar their roads or execute any other social project , I can assure you that no one will ask you for bribe . For the time being , fix yourself and stop listen to hearsay from your fellow never-do-wells . |
funnyx: Whichever way you get it you obviously can't maintain them, PR carries residency requirements which you cannot meet for 3 countries even if you can move around all your life like a fulani man.I am making this post from experience. My guy you amuse me , once more, I say to you , what you don't know is bigger than you ... The word "impossible" doesn't exist in the lives of adventurers . Well , depends on what your line of biz is, if you want to know better you can buzz me , that's if you are into GBW biz network . |
funnyx: How did you get 3 permanent residence in 3 advanced countries? Can you name these countries because I find it hard to believe. My dear, what you don't know is bigger than you ... it all depends on your line of biz . |
jennykadry: It takes an empty vessel to know one. We are siblingsHey! People , stop attacking my Jenny ... But Jenny , next time try look well before you leap OK . |
jennykadry: Have you even seen the Lagos international airport before? You are claiming 3 PR's. shut up my friendI know your type , empty vessel makes the loudest noise . |
[quote author=jaycee687]can see that you want good things for your children if not you wouldn,t have 3 permanent resident in 3different countriesyou should have stayed in nigeria and not travel at all let alone owning 3 permanent resident @OP My dear , the reason for acquiring residence in 3 different advance countries is solely for business purpose , but in spite of that , Nigeria still remain the only place I can comfortably term " home " , I can't trade our beloved country for any other place . Actually , I'm not against anyone going abroad to live , but I hate it when I see someone who lives abroad exhibiting diatribe act against our beloved country and people back home , as the OP did . It may even surprised you to know that she and her husband lives in a cubic like house at a suburb ghetto in Australia . |
@OP You are a slowpoke by terming our beloved country " shait hole " ... For your information , our best in all professions are based in Nigeria, it's only faint hearty ignoramuses like you and your ilks that do make it look as if it's a big deal living as second class citizen in abroad . Suffice to say 99% of Nigerians living in this so called abroad lives from hand to mouth , so I don't see why you should feel like a demi-god , because you reside abroad temporarily/permanently. If every body should runaway from this country , then who will fix it well ? Hey! Before you attack me , note that I have traversed the breath and length of this world and I hold permanent residence in 3 different advance countries ,USA inclusive and even as I write this piece am not in Nigeria , but that's not reason enough for me to term my beloved country " shait hole " like you did , because I know that Nigeria still remain the best country in this world . |
Bliss4Lyfe: I am sure the same was the case for Dora v Ngige. It's obvious you hold something against Gej and PDP ... Also , I observed that you're more of a tribacracy rather than a democracy proponent .Hey! before you mistake me for a non Igbo indigene and a PDP member ,note that I'm a bona fide son of Igbo land and indifferent in any political party at the moment , however I remain a committed detribalized Nigerian and hold the thoughts of liberality/dynamism of democratic politics . The fact is that until we started asking the right question and demanding the best answer , then shall we start producing effective and progressive leaders. To me , the best question to ask in every election should always be , which aspirant is best fit for the post in contention ? ... Political party affiliation , Zonal root , Gender type, Number of useless and needless academic paper certificate should not and never supposed to be a determinant factor in electing a leader . Show me an informed and up-to-date, productive , compassionate , maverick and dynamic person and I will point to you a true leader . |
Bliss4Lyfe: Dis is the last time, i will endeavour to get involve in Igbo people things.Nwanne mu nwaanyi jiri nwayo ! The truth is that you are a political neophyte , excuse me' Soludo is not better than any other gubernatorial aspirant in Anambra state , I , for one don't see any special thing about his candidature , he's a no messiah . In reality elections are not lost or won on online medias , because the main people who has electoral powers are in the hinterlands in the state and they will always decide who carries the day in every state and local elections , so long as the electoral umpire conducts a free and fair election . In Soludo I see a brilliant intellectual ,but been bookish doesn't automatically make someone a sound technocrat , even been an informed technocrat doesn't automatically make someone a good administrator and manager of capital and human resources which are the main qualities good leaders not ruler possesses , Anambra need a true leader as governor , someone who will be better than HE Obi . More so, Soludo lacks local/street intelligence which is the main trait every informed and sagacious politician need to have to succeed in Nigeria politics. |
He's among the leader of leaders - I'm wishing him many more fruitful and healthy years . |
Kingekeh: You're a slowpoke . FYI, someone like Rochas who has peoples goodwill and popularity doesn't necessarily need a political party to win an election , rather any political party with sensible people will always need him in their folds , thus my assertion - his emergency as the Imo state governor is a testament to this fact .Thanks man ! |
Odenigbo Aroli: Who is this retart? People like Rochas makes political parties ? You are ignorant to the power ZERO!You're a slowpoke . FYI, someone like Rochas who has peoples goodwill and popularity doesn't necessarily need a political party to win an election , rather any political party with sensible people will always need him in their folds , thus my assertion - his emergency as the Imo state governor is a testament to this fact . |
LADY OF RAGE: Speak for yourself! I am an Orlu indigent and i am not ashamed of him.Sis , I know you aren't an " indigent " , but I know you're an indigen of Orlu ( no insult intended ). By the way , I admire Okorocha's maverick , rebellious and sagacious traits , he's a politician of substance, his type makes political parties not vise versa - progressives in every spheres of life endeavors always possesses all these traits he has . |
Gareth Bale ! I hope with all this hype about him , he will not end-up like Lukas Modric if the transfer manifest ! Anyways, I wish him all the best . |
kingbang: If Ifeanyi Ubah wins the gubernatorial election, i will change my surname and leave Nairaland. QUOTE ME!!!!! I cant wait to watch that illiterate engage the likes of Soludo,Ekwunife and Ngige in a live debate.I would appreciate if you could kindly enlighten me about what makes Ifeanyi Ubah an illiterate ? |
@OP Please, stop giving attention to a folk like " mekaboy " , because doing so will make him start to feel important . If someone like Ifeanyi Ubah is not intelligent and focused to him , then I wonder what should be said of a never-do-well like him and his ilks . The last time I checked , someone having or lacking " oratory gift " is not a determinant factor of a bad or good leader. Freedom of speech does not protect you from the consequences of saying stupid shit. |
orgasticdance: Yes, u r normal. Addiction has a negative ring to it; so if ur not addicted to anything then maybe u have a a healthy sense of proportion in all that u do--that's pretty normal fare. On the overconfidence bit, maybe u need to get out of a comfortable environment that gives u an inflated opinion of urself and do somthing challenging instead of merely talking about it. The world's greatest philospher , Woody AllenThanks for your concern. Failure- yes, in most cases I have failed in my bids to get the best on things I put interest in, whereas if I'd settle for a lesser option of such bids I would succeed convincingly. Failure in the circumstance of the above instance would be attributed to my overconfidence. Let me put it this way, presently in "my life dictionary" the word "impossible" doesn't exist! I see failure not as a sign of ignorant but as an act of perfection- maybe this my chosen stance on defining failure is also a sign of the same overconfidence I am talking about. Suffice to say, I'm the type that believe much in action rather than mere talking/words. I hope you will understand more clearly my worry. |
Honorable members , please I need answer/advice on the following issues : Foremost , as a human being , I'm not obsessed or addicted to anything ! Is this normal ? In the other hand, I have one weak point " overconfidence" , this my weak point is also the result of what outsiders ( using my immediate environment as a yard stick ) would term " extra ordinary accomplishments " around me , but within me , all these assumed extra ordinary successes around me has deprived me a lot of other lesser good things . Better still put , I'm someone who innately believe that whatever worth doing ought doing well , I don't like settling for less in anything I have put interest in - let me take politics for instance , in the nearer future I might decide to venturing into politics to vie for an elective post and in the event of such , everyone around me might be expecting that I would start my political career from say Local government Chairmanship election, where I can secure a win easily , but within me it would rather be from House of representatives post upward or nothing . What do I do about this overconfidence issue ? N\B : Here I say overconfidence not pride , so don't misconstrue my point , I loathe the latter so it can't be part of me . |

bestads: @cultured this people you mention did not have university education, but they learnt entrepreneural skillsYou seem to be a confused dude , or you are a cheap attention seeker . Which names did I mentioned in my response to your thread ? |
DIVINE78: How much of shareholders' money did emeka offor run down? You mumu no be small. Someone stole in billions and contributes to charity in millions and you started worshiping him. Mumu factorial!May сатана punish you ! Since when did personal opinion of an slowpoke like you and your ilks become facts ? The last time I checked , it's only law court of competent jurisdiction that has the legal right to pronounce someone guilty and convict , so since known has meted such punishment toward Emeka Offor , I suggest you eff off my lane- Pauper ! Once more, I don't hold brief for Emeka Offor , but then that does not stop me from standing on the side of justice . Anyway, had it been you come from a responsible family , your parents , especially your leprosy father would have advised you to always chose your battle wisely. Keep off my lane before you get consumed . |
Babalegba: you sound like a pained self inflated mediocrity with grandiose delusions of his meaningless importance. You keep referring to people as poor and that showed your moral bankruptcy and your value system as upside down. Why are you so fixated on poverty. Your kind impoverish Nigerians to line their dirty pockets. My initial post was to draw attenion to your dumb post and it succeeded. You don't feed nairalanders so as far as i'm concerned, you can roll your poxy money into a tight ball and shove it. Your mindless arrogance is a disgrace to the ibo race. Calling nairalanders poor.SmhAttention seeker , I don't like joining issues with enemy of progress like you , so I say keep off my lane before you get consumed . Meanwhile , I don't hold brief for Emeka Offor , however I still insist that you poor folks should stop this bad habit of " pull him down " syndrome . Enough is enough . |

, once said,If you're not failing every now and again, it's a sign you're not doing anything very innovative".
When last did you fail at anything big?
