chucky234: It is a crime if one becomes successful in life accumulating/looting public funds, idio:t.
Slowpoke ! You will die wretched if you don't change your mindset. What evidence do you have to prove that he looted public funds ? An accused person remain innocent until proven guilty by competent court of law . I guess it's because you're illogical, that's why you failed to realized that majority of the people occupying ministerial positions are either successful businessmen or top career professionals, who had reached the peak in their respective vocations , before taking up ministerial appointments , so any of them owing a house of such any where should not automatically be adjudged as corrupt, save proven otherwise by competent court of law.

What's the big deal here . The last time I checked it's not a crime for someone to be successful in life .

Billyonaire: Yea, I understand you. Just as I stated. I started with N12,000 a month salary and never rejected a job cos of low pay, because I already graduated with a mindset that am not gonna be a paid employee for long. Every graduate out there should reject no job except you have better choices. And make sure you work in a sector you can actually learn the tricks of running such companies. Grab the industrial secrets and move on.
Buddy, your signature make sense , especially the last two statements .
CareerRe: The Minimum Salary A Wise Graduate Should Not Decline Nowadays. by Cultured(m):
ujchief: what are the odds of that happening? Did he sound like someone that can 'wash away his pride' and start a taxi biz? The guy is searching for a new job already!! If he was sacked, it would be understandable, but he wasnt sacked! He saw the duration of the contract, but instead of saving for the unavoidable rainy day, he choose to compete wit big guns in the city. Let him cruize his camry and stop searching for a job.
People like you are only good is castigating others , I won't be surprised to know that you are not in any way better than the guy in question . Have you ever heard of the word " reason" before ? Well , if I were you I would presumed that the guy has a reason for his action .
CareerRe: The Minimum Salary A Wise Graduate Should Not Decline Nowadays. by Cultured(m):
Wages is for living ; while profit is for fortune . My advice to you guys out there is to look beyond formal employment/wages and embrace ventures that will lead to profit making . Meanwhile, all things being equal , starting from the next 10 days, I will select 10 guys in this forum and teach them how to start off any lucrative business of their choice with just only 10% worth of the supposed capital of such venture , and I wouldn't mind lending the take-off seed to the genuine less privileged ones . Lest I forget , I don't believe in gravy train , but I believe in hard work ,thou smart work is the secret of success . In the other hand , what one need to succeed in any calling is self-education not degree or any other form of paper certificate from higher institutions of learning . I Look forward to see many of you up there in ladder of financial success . Idea rules the world .

Billyonaire: Yes, I am. It was a natural survival instinct. But now, the music is different.
It is not as if I believe that your story , no . Anyways, more grease to your elbow . I for one, I started my present flourishing business conglomerates with just $120 , that was some 6 years ago after losing my initial business capital that worth close to $200,000 . In a nutshell , what any good entrepreneur need first is good business idea , with that in place , a little capital and solid contacts will see you through to the top .

Billyonaire: I started importation of just 1 car, and that was Honda Accord that I won't forget. The cost was $2100+shipping then. And buyer had to bring part payment for clearing, I am telling this story for others to gain from. I am no more importing cars now, but branched into oil/gas and properties.
You must be frugal, I mean, for you to have saved up to $2100 within 2 years, from your meagre N25,000 per month salary then.

Billyonaire: My first employer in 2005 offered me 12,000 naira a month and thought I will reject the job, but he was shocked that I took the job. I studied the business we were into and resigned in 6 months, got another job for 25k same year, was there for 2yrs, get a few connects from there and started importing. So I basically turned millionaire after 2yrs of working experience and at youthful age cos I never reject money or salary. Its always a step to something greater. Pass forward to this date, am rich. Don't reject salary, no matter how small.
Buddy your success story has K-Leg written all over it . How did you raised capital for your importation business?

Point is when given the grace by God one has to make sure he judiciously uses it .
It baffles me a lot whenever I see wretched people like you and your ilks spewing rubbish all over the place, trying hard to advise people who are 100% far more successful and intelligent than you are and will ever be in life. It's poor people like you that knows the way that lead to failure , but will never discover the road that leads to success . For your information it takes an intelligent man ( person ) to be rich and on top , and the same force that elevated them will not allow them to fall so long as they continue to innovate . Every rich guy you see out there is 100% better than your wretched self , so , I advise you channel your energy on how to better your own life that trying hard to advice successful people .

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Youths Are Lazy And Don't Read - El-Rufai by Cultured(m):
icequeen22: The Nigerian situation is a peculiar one. If u like, read all the books in the world from pali to pali without knowing anybody in a position of authority, its all in vain. Just like it was written above, the likes of Dangote et all had 'HELP'. There are people that graduated wit good results out there, some of them read just about anytin they can lay their hands upon. As usual, if they dont know people in the right places, no job(except the really fortunate ones). Whats the point of reading when there's no food on the table? If music, buying and selling pays the bills, so be it.
My friend information is "power" , and the only way to gain this free but unquantifiable seed ( power ) is through reading . Reading is not just about studying formal school books to pass exams , no,it's more than that- Taking interest and reading all kinds of books you can lay your hands on is the fact . I'm a life testimony to this fact , even though I'm not perfect or see myself as been better than anyone , and without sounding immodest also, I can authoritatively assert that 80% of my connections in the high places and success in businesses ,I achieved them through the knowledge ( information ) I acquired through reading all readable materials . Please , read broadly because that is one true easy means/secret to achieve success and greatness in life .

acidtalk: Like I have stated twice earlier and will state again. El-rufai talking about "Reading" isn't just pointing at SCHOOL Books my brother.

While in school, I stabbed classes, confronted all my lecturers, first student to confront the VC and others, but one thing was never take away, all those people respected me for my intellect.

Reading isn't just about school books here. It is all about general knowledge and good reasoning.
Your arguments are quite sound .

taharqa: And hv u read the Anti-Money Laudering law lately?
Yes, I do . Why did you ask ?
PoliticsRe: Man Caught With $7million To Forfeit 25 % To FG by Cultured(m):
The truth of the matter is that the guy was to courier the fund for highly placed person(s)in the country, and it was this same people involved that bribed the judge to make this ridiculous judgment . Or, how best could one explain the fact that they guy in question was fined to forfeit 25% of the fund instead of finding out the true source of the fund , I mean, the given excuse of the fund as been a contribution from his business associates to buy goods for them in Dubai is too lame . And even if it was to be a contribution from his associates , he still violated the law of anti money laundering and ought to have been punished accordingly .

Billyonaire: Can you tell Nairalanders why Tinubu is then hated online as the OP opined or prove to us that he is not hated ? You seem to dance Azonto on the wrong beats. The Title of this thread is simple to understand.
Tinubu is only being hated by PDP paid apologist like you and your ilks. Meanwhile, I need no soothsayer to tell me that the originator of this thread is one of the members in your platoon .
PoliticsRe: Why Do People Hate Bola Tinubu? by Cultured(m): 10:43pm On Oct 15, 2012
take dat: Since the op feels that hi being a low life is due to Tinubu's existence. Am just being sarcastic
I get the drift .
PoliticsRe: Why Do People Hate Bola Tinubu? by Cultured(m): 10:41pm On Oct 15, 2012
Billyonaire: You know better than this. Do not allow inherent DNA love and tribal affiliations erode your God-given talent to discern right from wrong. I hold the floor neither for PDP my party nor home state of birth today, neither am I chastising ACN, a party you are sympathizer of nor SW, a region you can die for. I stay within the confine of this thread and the desire of the OP to explain my Mr. Tinubu is hated, and I made it very very clear. It is your duty to prove to the OP and my humble self as well as the readers that Tinubu is not hated and not to start a political debate you can not win. You keep emphasizing Tinubu's wealth as if he can sleep on more than one bed at a time or eat more than 10 balls of amala at a time. His money means nothing to me, not to you and not to nobody here. So I implore you to stay within the thread and prove to us that Tinubu is not hated. Tinubu needs to loosen his grip on the people's means of survival. It is understandable that he is not very lettered in academia, so his knowledge of wealth acquisition borders not on insider trading at Wall street but on Motor parks thuggery, land seizures, revenue collections, wholesale forgery etc. But he is rich now, let him crave for the love of the people on the street, so the online activists can stop their show of hate on him. His case is not beyond redemption, at least, not yet.
Sorry, one do not need a soothsayer to know that your hatred for Tinubu ,as you have directly and indirectly exhibited so far in this thread ,is as a result of your political affiliation to PDP.

Once more, I'm not Tinubu's fan, neither do I belong to his political party , but I always like to associate myself with truth .
PoliticsRe: Why Do People Hate Bola Tinubu? by Cultured(m): 10:28pm On Oct 15, 2012
Sayfat: Though I cant remember any interview granted by HID AWOLOWO where she expressly stated her hatred for TINUBU, but I know she is anti-Tinubu's party woman-she and her family.
The reason for this is best known to her and the family and besides, they have right to associate or dissociate themselves with/from any political camp. But I sense envy(my opinion).
As for Bakare, he held Tinubu for his collosal loss of being a deputy president of a nation called NIGERIA, believing that it was he that sold out South-West to GEJ during the last general election. The question is, did Tinubu (openly) campaigned for gej? Did he charmed the Yoruba states, except Osun to vote gej? How did he sold out Yoruba nation to gej?
Ganiu Oyesola 'Gani Fawehinmi' is a man that can make case out of any given stance. He made his popularity from this, because it was his calling. He made his personality known at the inception of the 1999 democratic rule, through that Tinubu forgery case, after series of humiliation and frustration from military junta. He bowed out of the case because of the incessant Lagosian song 'GANI LEAVE OUR MAN (tinubu) ALONE.'
Now the man-TINUBU, he is a man from the scratch, without any paternal or maternal affiliated political dynasty. He emerged from total oblivion into political limelight as a result of his SINGLE decision not to agree with his other SOUTH WEST AD governors to support OBASANJO for his second term. His doggedness and undaunted political spirit earned him the present political leadership status. His rise to the zenith beats all imagination of his political adversaries and allies, some were able to conceal it, some could it, hence, hatred, enmity, castigation, pull-him down talks etc.
Take it or leave it, Tinubu is a leader for some and his disciples are looking up to him for all what they think can come to them through him by God.
He has made Governors, Senators, Reps, LG Chairmen etc. God with him, he is the OPPOSITION LEADER OF NIGERIA.
Thanks greatly , I couldn't have said it better .
PoliticsRe: Why Do People Hate Bola Tinubu? by Cultured(m):
take dat: You claim he is hated yet just a year and a half ago people voted overwhelmingly for his party that the swept PDP controlled states. If by that you mean hate then I'll like to be hated in such way cos most places where CAN won they had it at their subconscious mind that he is the leader of AC N.
Pls stop this useless lie that your angst against Tinubu is not borne out of party affiliation cos in the thread of GEJ attending Oke's rally you identified yourself as PDP
You have a valid point there . As I have stated severally in this thread, the man's opponents ( political and business ) , are the ones that criticize him in the open ,and they are the propagators of " many people hate Tinubu ", while in the secret they adore him greatly and admire his guts and sagacity . Meanwhile, the average people ( formally educated ) with brains of chicken , majority of them present in this thread and forum, generally, are the ones who joined his opponent in the 'hate circle' , just because they feel the man has achieved more greater things than them , whereas he does not posses worthless higher paper certificates which they believe is the one way ticket to success in life .
PoliticsRe: Why Do People Hate Bola Tinubu? by Cultured(m): 9:43pm On Oct 15, 2012
take dat: Tinubu is the reason why GEJ has Alams and OBJ as godfathers.Tinubu is the reason why all the graft cases being prosecuted by EFCC are PDP's. Tinubu is the reason why Ibori,Alams,Kalu Bode George are thieves.Tinubu is the reason why there are no good roads in your statemHe is the reason why GEJ has all subsidy thieves are his associate. Fix the problems of your state and let the people of SW deal with their problems cos they know better than you do.
What point were you trying to make ?
PoliticsRe: Why Do People Hate Bola Tinubu? by Cultured(m):
Billyonaire: You have a point there, but I stand by my assertion that his hatred online as the OP observed is a reflection of how the 'street' views him. His acquisitions are highly anti-masses, his surrogates and fronts in the LCC projects, AlphaBeta, Beach and waterfront seizures are directly impacting negatively on the street as reflected online. His business acumen are understandable, but his greatest sources of funding for his empires are a rape on the masses of people. Poor people are being pushed away into the bushes and hinterland. These are the reasons he is hated by the online street reps. QED
You seem to be a PDP apologist, so I don't expect you to see any good in the man , but one thing am sure is that in the secret ,you are one among his numerous admires. Need I remind you that urban settlement is not meant for the poor .

Note, I'm not Tinubu's fan, and neither do I belong to his political party nor any other Party for that matter , but I hold him in high esteem , because he is a man of higher intelligence ( just like you ) ,he knows how to get what he want .
