Every persons who dared ventured out oblivion to where his/her next pay cheque might come from deserves to be celebrated. The most advanced economy of the world has its economy hedged and borne by MSMEs, they are the backbone and the true measure of the GDP of every country. Congratulations to both winners and nominees

There's so much anger and bitterness on this thread.

Properties / Re: Destiny’s Shop: Angry Landlord Destroys Tenant’s Salon Over Unpaid Rent In Lekki by CupOfT(m): 12:28pm On Dec 19, 2020
somehow:

I owed my landlord for 3 years some years back when my business collapsed. The man was so understanding then and even accomodated my loads from my office when I closed shop.

He also allowed me move elsewhere due to work related issues without paying my outstanding.

When I eventually paid, he was so happy and used me to boast before someone he told about me.

We arent even of the same faith, yet this man was so good to me. Adviced me alot. I even had access to power from his generator.

God bless you everyday Alhaji Abolarinwa!
This is as a result of the outstanding communication mainly from your end. Many landlords are very understanding they can relate to every facet of the tenant plights, just do your part by carrying them along.

See this guy, instead of you to approach your angry landlord for a peaceful resolution, you dey post for social media. Is it easy to be a Landlord in Lekki? Go and fight him na, that's when you will know that NIGERIA has 2 different Constitutions. The CONSTITUTION that has 100 pages with different sections that one is for poor people, but the 2nd Constitution is 1 page only and it says You can do anything and get away with it in Nigeria once you are very wealthy and have connections. One thing I have seen in this life is that it's the very Rich people that even need money pass the poor. Na rich man dey hustle pass, cuz they need more money to maintain their rich lifestyle. So no go dey reason am say because na Rich man wey get money him no need money. In Burna's voice Dangote still dey find money. Better go and reason with your landlord and make peace so he will consider giving you a grace period, instead of going in the direction of legal battle. You go dey shock when you find out say d judge wey go handle your case na the same Club him and your landlord belong grin grin grin. Me I no get time to dey follow person wey get money pass me dey drag on top him own property. No, peace is the solution.
so much wisdom in a single post. I know some landlords are just unreasonable but the majority of the problem always lies with the tenant not properly carrying his/her landlord along. Again, commercial property is a business, some persons used up their entire savings to put up this business hoping they can draw from it from time to time to meet their needs.

I am owing my landlord too but the man is quite reasonable and understanding and knows that I don't normally owe him, things just get as e be now.

I don't keep mute and pretend as if I don't owe him, I always talk to him about it and assure him that once I get the money I will settle him first.
Thank God for an understanding landlord.
Thank God for a wise tenant. Until you own rental property you might need to withhold your comments. No matter how wealthy you're as a landlord, one stupid tenant can cause to regret ever deciding on a commercial property. Pay your rents people and learn to communicate with your landlords wen the cash is not forthcoming, landlords have money issues too and many makes plan based on your rental fee to pay school fees, settle debts and meet their obligations. Properties are business pls, until you start seeing your landlords as business owners you might not understand. I will not go begging when you paying your rental as agreed could easily offset my concern. Its a business!

Underrated comment. If you have the opportunity to make money before school, pls do it with all pleasure later you can enroll into open university, part-time, or online education. Never you put off a lucrative business for school. Stabilise yourself first in business if you get that opportunity

Education is no longer the key to success in Nigeria.

It's better nowadays, to make money and go back to school than studying hoping to make money from it

Hello Nitric, I noticed you're currently involved into lot of diverse investments. Well, I will like to be part managing team or supervisory for physical investment. I will like to assist in collating all this investments vehicles and report at least monthly on there health. I can also help make physical contacts with your business interest that requires it.

Why I can I help - I'm currently an unemployed graduate of Mathematics with experience in administration, and supervisory.
Of course I hope to get paid but more importantly I have observed that the lack of concrete and clear timely reporting can cost you your precious capital. The service I intend to offer will help bring better clarity on your investment vehicles. Part of my responsibility as your investment supervisory will be to help research better opportunities or improvement within the 30months duration you speculated.

Kindly contact me 07015281993
