Tithe is a commonsense thing those against the growth of the church like to attack to stall Gods work. Without it, where will congregants sit? Where will sound and IT system come from? Buildings for meeting to share the word? Funds to support the widows, orphans or disabled?
Even shadowy groups with no official scripture do use their commonsense and contribute for the sake of their basic common needs. Why shouldn't Christians do it when they can see the biblical examples and its effects on the quality their gathering place and gatherings?

The current wave of increase in basic commodity prices is largely down to lack of diversification. If we had diversified properly and produced more wheat, by now bread flour would have been available to cushion to shortfall from eastern Europe wheat giants. Same thing too with petrol. Lack of refining capacity means we have to depend on developed nation who are battling their own petrol scarcity and won't have time for us.
Instead of truly diversifying, we wanted more oil deposits and were prospecting some phantom basin in the north. Today we are reaping what we sowed.

Breaking up to stand alone is very different from breaking out to join your bullying neighbour. Ukraine is right to break from USSR and right to reject those seeking to join Russia, the mainnblock of former USSR again. The Luhask and Donbas should stand alone instead of trying to join Russia. Any attempt to join Russia means Russia was behind the break up and Ukraine should reject it. Ukraine broke up from Russia by referendum and never to tried to merge with any nation that's hostile to Russia.
