Morningblues: So I recently received my salary and I gave my dad some money from inside (dash him) so today he called me and ask me to borrow him 60k Naira that he want to use to for something urgent, that he will give me the money by November. He usually borrow money from me like 5k,10k,20k he doesn’t pay and I forget about it, I normally don’t drag him.. I don’t know whether to borrow him this 60k, what if he doesn’t pay back! He is retired and I’m a student, he normally collect salary from retirement and he was the one who gave me the job I’m currently doing now….borrowing him is not the problem. What if he doesn’t pay back?? I earn 40k monthly but I haven’t received salary from 3month so the pay was 120k this month that just pass, he knows when they pay me and the amount they me. I’m confused… Don't borrow him without knowing the purpose of the money he is sourcing. |

Cognitivereason: you say that that out of prejudice not facts.
it not the first time Nigerian companies get tax waivers... companies enjoyed the same during Obasanjo time and GEJ..it was during this period Dangote's wealth rose rapidly..why didn't you shout northern politicians then..
. the media will only highlight the northern ones because they know most people who pay attention to news are southerners. This drives clicks and eventually unnecessary hatred.
see how the headlines says Dangote, and others.. nonsense They enjoyed reasonable tax waivers and not a govt heavily borrowing to maintain waivers to private pockets. |

ichidodo: In Programming especially in Nigeria, forget money, passion is everything. It is what gets you from point A to point b when it becomes too hard for your brain to assimilate. It is what sets you apart from others when the sh*t hits the fan, are you willing to go all in? To go months unpaid just to get the product to the finish line? or you just a mercenary, one gig away from driving Uber? Coding in Nigeria doesn't pay as much so you best be doing it for passion else hunger no go allow you see road... Can passion pay your bills? Persistence doesn't necessarily mean passion. People are persistent due to the money they perceive can be made from any vocation. I may be passionate about games but leave that game anytime my source of money requires my attention. Passion to me is that inner zeal to work enjoyably. The understanding of money in programming can make you even passionate. Passion can be a byproduct of various motivations. Motivation for perfection, earning, certificate. |

I wonder this type of "see finish".
This only happens cos the Man of the house is deceased. Women are easily deceived with freebies hence they lose coordination most times.
I believed the mother tolerated the man to be coming to the house to the extent of knowing her daughter's room cos the Chinese was showering her with gifts and money.
She contributed to her daughter's death cos of her inability to act like a mother.
Our esteemed Kano youths also failed to exercise their international-recognized "hot blood" on the demonic Chinese. A life for a life keeps the world safe. keep shut. |

Kasssandra: Okay, let's break it down
Suppose you were selling exercise books at N200 per book, after buying them N100 from supplier, who bought them N80 from manufactuer
Government steps in and tells you to sell that exercise book at N20 instead of the N200 you were planning to sell it...and pays you a subsidy of N50 per book....
Where would you get the money to pay the supplier., and where would supplier get money to pay manufacturer.
When subsidy started, we had 2 working refineries, today we have 4 non-working refineries. If that does not tell you something..... Have you eaten today? I asked because govt is not short paying the middlemen. You clearly manufactured that lie(about paying N50 instead of N180 in your illustration) to sell an unsellable point. |

Politics › Re: Subsidy Removal: Keyamo Tackles LP, Obi Over Proposal by CyberHustle: 6:53pm On Sep 17, 2022 |
Kasssandra: Only way for FG to repair refineries...remove subsidy first. Because the money that would have gone into repairing refineries is spent on subsidising fuel in the first place.....
Finally, you want fuel and diesel to be sold at cheap prices...from your last sentence. It does not work like that in real life. The people who bring and make the diesel you use want to be paid well. Same for fuel. And subsidy costs don't cover all their cost of living. Subsidy and refinery repair are not in each other's way as you are portraying here. Before subsidy cost rose, they said there wasn't money. Now it is high, there isn't still money as they claim, but they could have fixed at least one refinery when the subsidy was still lower compared to its current state. |
Politics › Re: Subsidy Removal: Keyamo Tackles LP, Obi Over Proposal by CyberHustle: 6:49pm On Sep 17, 2022 |
My own question is for APC, what is the point keeping the subsidy if it saves interest free funds for us as against borrowing with crippling interests? They knew they were going to remove it (tentatively albeit) but borrowed for eight years to send us into a crippling debt. APC deserves to go for that alone. |

I have tried online but it seems popular brands are either to costly or don't have cordless clipper. Recommend me one that has worked well for you. |
