freeboy604:And you are here day and night observing. |
EggovinMma:Naaaa.. can't deal. This is tewwww crazyyyy! Lmaooo |
queensmith:Quite an uninformed post. Do you even understand the Nigerian government structure and the resource allocation mechanics of a presidential system? |
Scam alert! |
It's a very funny press release to say the least. This is a result of money politics for which we are known or else this grandstanding in a nation with 14 presidential candidates is a sore point. PDP is a disgrace, the APC a messier disgrace. Even in politics, there is moderation. Win first, talk less. As a matter of fact, this careless statement will win enemies for GMB in the core north who would want a disengagement from Tinubu's influence. We are talking 2 weeks to an election, you are talking 8 years after. Smh. |
Amazing. Which leader will take Nigeria to these levels of technological advancements? |
Disappointing but trust me, those are some votes won already. Many people don't believe the words of politicians. They will just follow their hearts and these tiny bags of rice on election day for some will be the decider. Ask a poor fella. |
UnstoppableOla:Amen |
What warped thinking am I reading on this thread? I think it is illogical to read some posts. How can anyone posit that it makes no sense 'to debate with a failure'? And educated folks too are promoting such a fallacy? What are we doing with our brains this year people? Some of us have been waiting for that debate to decide who really may be the lesser of the devils and folks be spewing nonsense about no need for a debate. Well I need the debate for both candidates to articulate, without fancy posters and jingles their administrative plans. I want to see how true they can pretend to be to these words through their mannerisms and actions. I also need a debate to see how personal space will be managed by both. My training teaches me a few things about how that matters and may reveal important details that all these noise and rallies hide. I think it is unbelievable that youths will support a 'no debate' cause. What kind of nonsense is that? I remember re-tweeting ChannelsTV's message confirming the debates. I was sorely disappointed to learn that one of the candidates puled out. That, also says a lot about the candidate for those of us who are undecided. |
Where were they in the first 3 efforts made by the amiable General? They were busy voting other candidates. Ayo Opadokun is an APC card carrying member (correct me if I'm wrong) so I see some measure of desperation in this. GMB does not need this. It is absolutely unnecessary and the continued ab-use of God and His things will soon backfire on these politicians who give no thoughts to expanding God's kingdom on earth but their partisan kingdoms. As some of the jokers on this forum would say, the fire from heaven that will fall on these politician pastors is on fuel queue. |
Mattpopson101:What would two dots innocently placed under such a well written article represent? Please share. |
agabaI23:Brilliant submission. I'm undecided but it's like APC folks are too overly emotional to allow simple objectivity. |
Gbawe2:I'm sorry to say but this qualifies for the daftest message of the day. I presume you suggest that the APC in organising the rally as such did not have the same information you cheaply share. Who does not know that it makes no sense to fix the march for just one day after his return? No. 2 jet lag for a country that has just a 1 hour time difference at the most? Please wake up. The flight to London could be less than 6 hours bro so stop feeling academic on what could have been a road trip from Abuja to Daura. Go siddon please bro. |
One of my worst flights was to this airport, same route with Delta. The river/body of water by that runway I'm told affects a lot landing into that airport. May God deliver us all. Thank God that no lives were lost too. |
minister2015:disgracement? May March 28 come and go that we may be spared all manners of gunshots...from MBU now to this. Amen |
Ekiti - GEJ Ondo - GEJ Oyo - GEJ Ogun - GMB OSun - GMB Lagos - GMB (58%) Winner SW - GEJ - Likely. If this ever happens, I think Buhari then, may be on his way to oblivion. If this does not happen, then Otuoke is where the gods are waiting. |
sammyj:Name calling by folks like you make me question if you are civilized. I don't know how folks like you deal. Maybe you should visit Youtube and watch intellectual debates and arguments of the British House of Commons. I think you should be ashamed at the ease with which you throw vitriolics and diatribes. I think it's local. I'm on neither side but the diarrhea you all spew is disgusting to discerninbg readers. I advise that you watch it. |
kalohkaloh:So you needed Nairaland to answer your 15 year old niece. |
cirmuell:Double standards! I thought that he was "clueless". |
Bayswater:Chaiii. Na wa ooo |
helpee:Your response to that poster was just spot on. I wonder what kinds of followers we have in this country. People just sit down and get so emotional that they leave their thinking in car backseat while attending meetings on the 12th floor. I tried to get my PVC, it took movement and redirection to 3 centers. The INEC guys themselves were confused. I finally got to the 3rd zone and oh my! Just like the first two locations, there were cartons upon cartons of uncollected PVCs. I ask these senseless posters, was it PDP or GEJ that asked people not to pick their PVCs? I saw so so many potential disenfranchised people. And this was just 2 days to the last date in February. Even if I am voting Buhari, does it mean that we should jettison proper preparation on the part of the body saddled with the responsibility? I laugh at how people just make assumptions about corruption. Is the APC incorruptible? I pray that they don't get into one small financial scandal. This bubble will burst. Vote Buhari but please attach sense. |
iamodenigbo1:Bro wey you? Oya come take na |
wakacome:That word there is ''frozen''. |
iamodenigbo1:This comment wins my trophy for the day. I don't care but I wanna give you something. Even if it is 100 VTU. Chaiii...people will not kill somebody here oo |
john124:This is just so sick!!! Lmaaoooo |
I need Logo design. PM me |
This is not simple. And so not cool for me. I'm sure that you can do better. Yur colour blend is not appealing and you could do with solidifying your characters. I'm sure that you can do better. PM me for biz. |
Your retina and the lighting condition determines the colours. This dress colour changed right in front of me from white and gold to blue and black. If I no be Christian I for say that girl wey I refuse to marry don go nak nail for tree. |
The problem of the Nigerian opposition of course started when they accepted almost half of the PDP into their fold. The quest and the intent of providing clearly defined and sincere leadership was jeopardized when the problem was invited as solution. The lustful allure of power and the open market approach of the APC to elements that they earlier termed "corrupt", "backward" or "anti-people" reveals that within the APC, there is no ideological or philosophical connectedness that binds the members. It is why the marketing strategy of the APC only revolves around the failures of the PDP and its president. Or else, you have within your fold, the liars and oppressors that you had roundly condemned, and still expect to be taken serious? Some of us will wait for the right time to dissipate energy. Some of us will retain our sanity and independence to that time when Nigeria is REALLY ready. Do folks think that political leadership is bread and butter? When the time comes for the hard calls to be taken, is it the same elements that left the PDP that will now be deciders of my/our future? In what other way is "joke" spelt please other than this? Today we all complain about the senseless stomach infrastructure policy of Fayose but is that not the bane of Ilorin's politics? Are the Sarakis not the progenitors of that preposterous social system? Well, a section of Nigeria's youths in exercise of their rights have joined that fray, have they however asked the right questions? Have they obtained the right answers? Over the last few days, the APC has been running from pillar to post in response to revelations from an ordinary Twitter handle, @mrayedee. A single individual put a lie to the submission of the APC that Buhari was Guest at a Morning Show in London. It turned out that the venue of the so called event was the Transcorp Hilton Abuja. The moral fabric of the APC (outside Buahri) is disturbingly pappy. I laugh at some of my learned and educated friends who have deposited their capacities for independent rationalization on the altar of colourful but shallow mantras. Is it enough to remove Jonathan and be left with a different colour of governance but which essence is essentially same? I am not even asking them to withdraw from the APC but what does it take to increase the stakes for integrity and sincerity of purpose by virtue of their presence there? Why keep quiet in the face of blatant lies that we are being told whereas if it was Jonathan, nobody would hear word? There must be internal cleansing within the APC without which a good number of people will prefer the devil they know. These indiscretions whether they agree or not may cost them an election that is almost available to them for the taking. The strength of the APC lies in the youths of today and losing them will be a costly mistake they don't want o risk. In the meantime, I remain undecided, and unapologetically so too. It is my contribution and unsolicited service to the bandwagon who seem to have lost capacity for unbiased analysis owing to partisan allegiance to either their PDP or their APC. |
orinocopulse:Hardly do I get reverts responses this mature on Nairaland. What a rare find! |
The uniform mark Jonathan die! |
orinocopulse:And where was it also mentioned that it was a short stay flat? Londoner answer. Nigerians ascribing the unsaid to the said since 1930. In other lands, this is called gbefila. Buhari is honest though. |
