People like you are why politicians don’t bother. Because whether they do or not, folks with very little operational knowledge of governance will pop out spewing untenable details. When you are asked to provide evidence to the contrary, you recoil and double down on the empty and hollow intelligence you exude.

The senators have done something, rather than folks like you to form associations of naysayers to pressure the House of Reps (who are triple the number) to do same, you rather opt for the extensively silly course of attempts in to rubbish what is a decent gesture.

Some things have symbolic value, far more than the linear artithmentic that some of you are stuck on but who will explain it to you when even with facts that their salary is 1M presented to you, you still argue it?You cannot because you are incapable of learning. So, you are obviously not here to learn. Incapable of teaching and with a blocked mind, blowing fury, adding no value to humanity or the victims of the sad event.

3) Was a proportion of the 203,991 asymptomatic? If so what was the proportion?

4) What was the amplification level of the PCR test used to detect positive results?

5) Isn't the PCR test essentially a screening tool? If it isn't a diagnostic tool why use the term "confirmed"?

6) Were all the 192,139 said to have been discharged, admitted into isolation centres or designated hospitals then treated and got well, then discharged home?

7) Based on the above figures can we conclude that our "survival rate" from the disease is 203,991 minus 2,671 multiply by 100 divided by 203,991 = 98.7%

Based on the figures what is the proportion of deaths among cases? 2,671 x 100 / 203,991 = 1.3%.

One of the best of luck that the APC has today is a decapitated opposition. Were the PDP an organised party without the moral baggage they carry, this presidential broadcast would have been sufficient material for the next 3 years to guide President Muhammadu Buhari back to needed retirement and rest.

The broadcast had no substance (other than what we have been inundated with for eons), no perspectives for a brighter future, no clear cut direction for getting us out of the present economic drama and the worst of all no indication of physical capacity.

It looked like Nigeria was Rwanda and the president's voice unmistakably betrayed the physiological and psychological vulnerabilities of his old age. His voice shows that it would be a crime for anyone to push a second term agenda to this man.

This president needs rest.

Buhari we love you but if you continue with this penchant of past administration this and that, you will be hustling to achieve half of what Jonathan achieved. And our collective interests as Nigerians would not have been served by that.
