I would rather live in the village than pay to live in shithole Lagos. I stayed with my friend in his flat some where in AKUTE and i like it although the roads leading to Akute are bad and it was very far from MMI Aiport.

I honestly believe that many Christians criticize Islam, without reading about Islam from reputable Islamic sources. Furthermore, I believe that Christians do not read their Bible. Take, for example, the head scarf, may Christians think that women in Islam are oppressed because men forced them to wear head scarf. How about the hundred of thousands of Muslim women in the West who put Hijab on? Can men force them to do that in the west?? This is just a big lie against Islam.

Have you ever seen Virgin Mary in a movie without headscarf? She used headscarf in normal life.

Hijab is a part of dressing. Sikh wear Turbine. Western women [not Christian Ladies] wear BIKINI. Even then media is not allowed to show First Ladies in their Bikinis !!.

Reading about this incident has just reminded me of one story that I heard back then in my small village. A man in the neighbouring village had taken his own life over a matter bordering on infidelity. Actually, it wasn't even a case of infidelity as such, but of betrayal, by his own wife of several years with whom he couldn't bear a child.

Since he could not get his wife pregnant, the man had permitted for his wife to meet another man, some random stranger, and sleep with him so she could get pregnant. He even allowed her freedom to choose a man of her own choice to sleep with but only on the condition that she looked far beyond their immediate village in trying to find such a man. Whomever she happened to sleep with must be a stranger and an outsider. That way she would be saving her husband the inconveniencing and uncomfortable thought of knowing that the actual father of his child lived just nearby. So the wife agreed.

But rather than act in accordance to this agreement, she slept with her husband's best friend instead, and got pregnant by him. It did not take long before the villagers took notice of the ongoing affair, as well as the pregnancy, and it became a talking point in that village. Unable to contain his anger, and feeling betrayed by this treacherous behavior of his wife, the poor man committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope.
