Its all about court case where the community ganged against him (contributing money to effect their plans).. This lasted for years but at last,he single handedly won them @ court, court also asked them to apologise

Dont mind these people.
I have dealt with a whole community (and this Parable was what they were singing to me when they were ganging up and even assaulted a family member of mine).
I packaged their "Ring Leaders" ('Selective Punching', as we call it), so badly that even their Lawyer was begging me to withdraw the case and settle out of Court! They were remanded in prison Custody, after the first Court Appearance.

Their Lawyer eventually brought them to prostrate in front of my House (l insisted they do so openly, so that others can learn that you dont mess-up people, just because you are many).

But l eventually "recognised" two people in the community who initially warned them that they are messing with the wrong person, when the whole issue started.
To and for this Two, well regarded people in the Community, l agreed that l will withdraw the case from Court but they must repay all my expenses and legal Cost.
Come and see begging o!

Just before the next Court hearing, they managed to raise about 80% of the Bill (It was in the Millions, as my Lawyer is not cheap though l have paid him from my own purse).
Once they deposited the sum with my Lawyer, l withdrew the case from Court and their " Six Ring Leaders" were released.
I then used the Money they contributed, to install Street Lights in the same community, so they know that l dont need their Money but l wanted to prove the point to them that, "numbers and crowd dont scare some of us", we should all just be law-abiding and not behave like "Community Thugs", just because we are many (Community).

Yes, they cooked their Porridge for me and l ate it, even returned the Plates for them to wash.
The important thing is to make sure you are not in the wrong and you are always lawful, in whatever you are doing.

In one of the counts, EFCC said Phillips (a.k.a Voice of the King) and Koudeih (a.k.a. HK), in May 2019, converted the aggregate sum of $7,069,000; £1 million and €80,000, part of proceeds of fraud.

Their offence was contrary to Sections 18 (a), 15 (2)(d) of the Money Laundering Prohibition Act, 2015 and punishable under section 15(3) of the same Act.

Uwujaren disclosed that Koudeih approached the prosecution for a plea bargain and that EFCC, through its counsel Rotimi Oyedepo, filed the agreement with an amended charge on September 8, 2021.

Delivering judgment, Justice Muslim Ringim sent Koudeih to prison but gave him an option N1 milllion fine.

He ordered forfeiture of HK’s N100 million in a bank account owned by CHK Property Investment Ltd; Mercedes Benz GLE43; two iPhones and an HP Desktop computer to the Federal Government.

I know what "Plea Bargain" is but we must ask ourselves: What benefit TO JUSTICE, has this particular 'plea bargain' brought to Justice?
In the US for example, a Plea Bargain can ensure that a whole Criminal Network is brought down as the person seeking it will squeal on end, on his fellow Criminals who will be apprehended and sent to jail, while he gets a reduced sentence. All their Assets (money and movable assets) will be seized by the Govt. By the time the person is back from jail, he will be so broke that the only way to survive is to continue to be a Mole for the Justice Dept.

But in this case, the Lebanese Criminal is left a Trillionaire, with most of the proceeds of crime still in his custody (what is the #100B frozen in his account, compared to a trillion naira?) by this Judge and he does not even have to go to jail at all!

Well, he is a Lebanese and as we know, "they run things"` with our Top Northern Men in this Nigeria and most of them act like they own Nigeria, with backing from the Police and some Top military Officers. The Criminal Judge Muslim is probably in on the charade

1) That though l am far from being "Holy", I fasted and prayed, when it was the only option left, having exhausted all other options, and God answered! That event is almost three decades ago but l will never forget, till my dying day.
God could have chosen not to answer and He would still be justified! l still dont know why He answered.

2) My Body is not as strong as it used to be, some 25yrs ago! I cant physically do everything my mind can conceive.
That is really frustrating.

3) I made a grave mistake, voting Buhari as President and l must accept responsibility for the havoc it has done in many people's life!
Never been so deceived in my Life, l even solicited family members to vote for him. he could have written his name in Gold forever but he chose the path of infamy.

4) Nigeria may still be great but looks like its not going to happen in my generation.
That is really sad, because l was looking forward to it.

Why/How l came to this conclusion is that:

1) The first condition, for you to qualify even as a 'baby' Christian, is to accept that Christ is THE ONLY WAY, the truth and Life, No "iffs", No "Buts", No "Questions" asked.

2) If you are a Christian, you will have known that there is NO OTHER WAY to God the Father, except through His Son, Jesus Christ.

3) Jesus preached LOVE but he did not preach CONTAMINATION or CORRUPTION of Christianity, just so you can show love! Jesus did not bow down to the Devil, just so he can show love to Satan..... He drove the Devil away.

4) If you were a Christian, you should know that when the Children of God "tried to embraced" the religion of others (Pagans, as the Bible described such non-Christians), God destroyed those that took part in such Paganism.

All these "follow-join Religion" that people practice nowadays just so they can belong, is not the attributes of a Christian, and you know it.

So my Friend, it is okay for you to embrace wha.ever you want to embrace, its a free world but PLEASE, dont because of that call yourself a Christian (and then criticise a Christian!), you are just a lost, pagan soul who needs to repent and accept Christ, as your ONLY PERSONAL Saviour! Just continue your ways and dont try to chook mouth inside other's belief.

I agree with you, but let's be honest, some people too need to investigate, and question, and do their homework.

Take MMM, long before government came out with warnings against the scam, I knew it was a scam because I had heard about them over ten years before. I had also read about Ponzi schemes too.

As for Agric investment schemes...I was tempted, yes...but then I read a comment from a real farmer on this site saying that the ROI such schemes were promising were not possible...there were all sorts of variables that could happen (which reminded me of the time when one of my relatives invested in broilers one year...all of them died off due to illness. Assuming she was being funded by investors...how would she give them ROI?)

Even if government came out and started shouting....remember MMM? Government came out and shouted...people cursed them. Some influential people came out and shouted ...they were told to go and sit down. (even Apostle Suleman came out and called it 'devlish, and some of his fans were ready to abandon him!) MMM failed, some people blamed the government warnings for the failure.

The problem is, Nigerians want to get rich quick. Too quick.

Everything you said is true but l will add that investing in MMM or any other straight-forward Ponzi Scheme, cannot be equated to investing in Agriculture, assuming the owners of this farms did not get greedy.

Let me separate the issues a bit:
1) Invest in an Agric Scheme
2) Is the promised rate of Return feasible?

An Agric Scheme, as in a True Agric Farm, is not a Ponzi Scheme because you plant Crops, you nurture them, you reap and sell them, to generate money which you can share back to your investors.
there are Farms on the STock Market in some Countries like the USA. If that is what the likes of EatRich or SGL Farms set out to do, as they showed in their adverts on reputable TV Programs, then investing in them is a wise decision.

As to the promised rate of Return, no one believed that TV's wi;; become this Cheap and if anyone had promised that you will get a color TV for as low as #15,000, we would have called it a SCAM because it sounds too much to be believable.
SIM Cards came out for as high as 50K some years back but just before Covid 19, no one would pay a kobo for a SIM card, it was being hawked and given out free.
My point is that it is not everything that looks too good, that is a Scam.
With enough Funds, (which is the whole essence of Public Sourcing of Funds or crowd Funding), there is no reason why a proper farm cannot make such profit, after investing in Automation and Mechanised Farming.
Is there an element of risk (not fraud) in any investment? Ofcourse, YES.

Now, one of the duties of Govt is to "Control and Direct its citizens" (dont do this, do that), whether they like it or not.
Govt tells us to pay tax, we pay because they will punish you if you do otherwise.
So, Govt can tell people not to invest in MMM or any other Schemes it identifies as a FRAUD, including an AgriTech Scheme.

I may be wrong but l never heard the EFCC or any Govt body saying "dont invest in these Agric Farms", like they did with MMM.
Infact, the AgricTech Fraud came at a time that Govt was encouraging people to "go back to Farming" and a lot of people who dont have the skills, the land or the ability but wanted to "farm with their money", subscribed to these agric investments.
If there was an unexpected problem (diseases, flood, etc, INSURANCE should take care of it and some of these Criminal CEO's lied that they insured the Farms!
So, in some way, the Investors are victims of a society that allows a few to preys on its citizens.

Just for a moment, imagine that this sort of Fraud was done in America, what do you think the FBI will do? Will they not have traced all these Criminals, frozen all their assets and hurl them in Jail? Even Hushpuppy who defrauded Americans, was traced all the way to Dubai and hruled in jail.
That is what the EFCC should be doing, there are enough data and witnesses to these Crimes, if 'Bawa' is really a crime fighter, as claimed.
But time will tell, its not yet over.
