Godarz: That's the harsh truth
Either government keeps on subsiding fuel at a heavy cost to our economy, especially depleting our foreign reserves to supply fuel at a cheap price
Or we let marketers sell fuel at tge price they wish to sell it, eventually making fuel refining profitable and possible at home Keep telling yourself whatsoever comforts you. There is no where in the world where there aren't regulations, kerosene and diesel had been deregulated for years, has the price crashed? What development can you point at as a result of the previous subsidy removals, at least it has been removed more than twice |
Politics › Re: Expect To Pay N195 Per Litre For Petrol, Marketers Tell Nigerians by dacool1(m): 1:14pm On Feb 22, 2021 |
alizma: There should be no protest. Following the increasing price of crude oil, the increase in petrol pump price should be expected by any educated individual except the government is telling us that subsidy payment has been returned in full I'm quite disappointed in your economic analysis MR EDUCATED. When crude price rises our naira should become STRONGER and that should cancel out the so called increase in pump price, you should ask why the naira is becoming weaker when we earn more forex. The truth is the elites are just greedy lots. |

iyke4: I get his point but with the way salary ain’t increasing and how we import the most important things from outside the shores of Nigeria, I can say that basic things might become a luxury like buying a car, phone, washing machines and so on. All I can say is the poor man is doomed You seem to understand economics, most people supporting the free float of the naira are not facing the reality on ground. Just check the price of kerosene and diesel then you will understand even the so called premium gas is not as expensive as those two listed up there just because regulations have been removed, there are economic whales that would control the exchange rate in a country like ours. I think what should first happen is that the regime of multiple exchange rates in the country should be abolished it favors only the elites. The truth is as long as we import most things there will always be excess demand. Thus the price will continue to go up. Let them first put in place mechanisms that would absorb the events that will result to excess demand for forex. Asides that most developing nations don't float their currencies that's just the blunt truth, some developed countries too such as UAE, Saudi, Hong Kong, even almighty China didn't float her currency. Las Las na the rich people e go favor, abegi make dem no float anything, even when dem dey defend am na up e dey go. |

Most comments u see here are from unmarried folks. Don't take them serious. They believe it's nollywood. The truth is if u have apologized for over 4 months and she's yet to get over it let her be. She might be enjoying the attention or she's very vindictive. That's women for you they get u angry and expect u not to be angry and still pat them. Over time she will get over it. We all make mistakes jare and people saying healing time, well na dem Sabi. Don't even think of divorcing because u don't know how devilish the new wife will be. Marriage is always like that. So she's expecting you not to say your mind.
Don't invite a third party.
No marriage is without its challenges. Stop begging her. In short when you offend her next time don't apologize beyond once. Trust me. It will save you lots of stress in the future. |

I'm just curious to know which set of judges would be brave enough to set the nation on fire by declaring atiku the president. Let's forget this issue. Even if it is glaring and staring right at us that atiku won, I think it would be very difficult for any court to do so in Nigeria. |
