That's because most of the Northerners are not well educated, are very poor and believe in tribal and religious politics.

The moment you expose them to know their rights, most Politicians from the North will not have a say.

Reason why they keep them in servitude and ignorance to be used as voting tools.

They know Peter Obi will work towards a solution to the poverty and illiteracy among Hausa/Fulani's in the North, so the politicians from the North don't want him. But the poor Hausa/Fulani's will become wiser before the elections.

Former Governor of Kano State Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on Channels TV Ruled Out Being A Running Mate to Peter Obi in Labour Party.

He said he has Kano, Jigawa and some few Northern States to Support His Presidential Ambition.

Much of his comments showed arrogance saying Peter Obi and Labour Party only has social media presence and support while he has the votes of the North.

Candidly, Kwankwaso will be a problem to Peter Obi's administration if he changes his mind to become VP.

Peter Obi and Labour Party has to opt for another VP from the North and not bank on Kwankwaso who may be a saboteur eventually

Registration of voters goes on normally in Bauchi State. They don't inflate figures like what may be obtainable in places like Kano

Most of the poor Northerners (both Muslims and Christians) and the marginalized Christians all over the North in Nigeria are rooting for an Obi Presidency and may likely vote Labour Party out of pure love for him not even because they have a standard party structure
