You are right but the main reason why depression is on its increase these days is Lack of Love. We all are to busy with ourselves that we do not notice the next person close to us. When we do, its only to compete, compare and contract. Lol a friend of mine (guy) once told me that I made a mistake by showing a lady I took as my friend my weakness, at first I questioned him but later I realized he was right after all and I asked Where's love?

Like every other social problems, depression starts within the Family. Family subconsciously set high goals for another.The wife demands more from the husband, the husband reciprocate pushing each other to limits while the children observe. Unfortunately the child grows and continues to experience what other families inject into the society then conclude that it isn't worth it. No love at home, school or community. We are just so into ourselves to care.


If only we can pay a little more attention to how our actions affects the other being we will have less depressed people around us.
