May we never have such dummies as spouses... If a wife comes home to complain that to me, I will flog her and tell her to go and flog her own... ![]() |
It happens in weirdest of places, I can’t even remember. But places where I never pray for such is on a queue with a busty chick directly behind you and/or a huge-ass chikito directly in front of you. The first nod by my Junior is a warning to run out of the queue. Who wants to embarrass himself And btw, I was carrying a 5months old baby during a function, the baby boy had an erection and sprayed everywhere with piss. Correct erection o. Me sef follow embarrass. |

Humans mind is a bottomless pit. 1. You get rich, you eat lots of rubbish and attract diseases and your manpower can barely last 1min 2. You are poor, you are healthy within and can spend 10 rounds with your wife 3. You are neither rich nor poor but you have no time for family, you finally get rich and we are back at 1 above. The Mikel obi people expected Vs the one they saw Add yours
The ones who staked with their 1month salary
The ones who cannot kick an orange but were down insulting every player including the girls
The ones waiting for Mikel to say ‘ we will win our next two matches’
The ones who have never bathed nor washed their mouth for a week but came to the viewing center asking you the names of every player on the field
The ones beside you in the viewing center still shouting we’d equalize after 2 goals
The pessimists who already knew Nigeria has nothing to offer but to be beaten mercilessly They be like, I no warn you?

My loving and patriotic Igbo brothers who closed their shops early to watch the match only to be disappointed....when they think of the money they’d have made
The ones who left work early running to watch the match not minding if they get axed

Ethnic bigotry apart, I can categorically say MKO worths every bit of respect; but this is sheer mediocrity at its peak. Whoever, I believe did this has no understanding of the economy and probably not educated.

The concept of family connection is overrated in recent times; careless dependence on family have cost many their career, even lives. A well educated young graduate having grabbed the bachelors continue to look-out for a possible job placement from their parents, sometimes business idea and capital ![]() Who landed you that connection/idea which changed your story? For me: friend lifted me |
When you see an old woman walking down the road, on the street or you are in the BRT, you see an old man whose strength is in his third leg (walking stick), struggling to adhere to the railings of the bus, it is only respectful, mature to lend a helping hand. I’ve seen people disrespect the old, it is quite understandable that the polity is heated, aggression is a hunch unto the back, follows everyone around; we are all aggrieved and can transfer aggression anytime, it is a mine waiting to wreck anyone who steps on our path. Yes some old guys are hard nuts to crack but... Shall we see why beyond all reasonable reasons not to; respect these wonderful old men and women? 1. Pity: Let’s drop religion and morals for now, it is only right to put your conscience in place. Every old individual suffers at least 1 or 2 ailments. These people are dying, no, I don’t mean they have terminal disease, but it’s apparent they are closer to their graves than they are to their born days. It’s only a while remaining, we are not wishing them death, but reaslistically, it’s the truth, let’s give them the honor they deserve. 2. It portrays you in good light: In a contemporary Lagos state where everyone fought for a chance to win a seat, releasing your hard-earned sit for an old man/woman will give fellow commuters you have been raised by a gentleman and woman. ![]() 3. Karma: Need I say more, Karma is a bîtch 4. You may be blessed through it: I’ve heard of cases where a non-harmful act of kindness shown towards an elderly individual has resulted in ‘take my card, call me’. It has landed many jobs and has picked many out of penury. 5. It upgrades our collective integrity as a nation: I’m not a traveler, but there is a nation I respect a lot not because they have good economy, but they’d fight so hard to make sure their old are never molested no matter the condition. It is only logical to let foreigners learn from us. |
