That's meant for the sexuality section not here..reason why I took it out.

I checked your last post which was here and I quoted it to ask..would have done the same if you posted on that thread.
All right, you still could have asked me on the thread by posting my moniker, if you wanted to.

lols, I looked at it broadly. More ladies being independent means more voice for the women. When you depend on someone solely for all your needs, there is a possibility that individual will abuse you especially if the individual is very unintelligent.
Now you're showing your true colours,
Typical nairaland male, a woman is always at fault, while we always find a way to excuse the excesses of the man.

Even if I or any woman depends on someone for all my needs, IT DOES NOT give them the freedom or right to abuse me, if they don't like supporting me or any woman, they can simply tell me they won't do it anymore and/or send me anyway, SIMPLE.
THERE IS NO EXCUSE AT ALL FOR A MAN TO ABUSE A WOMAN
especially not because the woman is dependent in him,

There it has nothing to do with the woman, the woman is not at fault and shouldn't be made to change anything, that's victim blaming.

The problem is with the man and he should be made to change his sickening orientation that because a woman is dependent on him he can abuse her. He needs to change his orientation to one whereby no one deserves to be abused, no matter what

This was my point wink

you need to understand his point... Until recently, you barely see women in politics. If there are no women in politics, who will make laws to benefit women. We saw what played out when a woman was elected as the house speaker. His point is simply, women should consider making an impact before marriage. The more women impact, the more they can turn things to their advantage. The whole feminism movement in the west is because more women are making impact. That is the point and not about a man beating his wife!
Please shift,
You said I was talking out of context, I showed you where he explicitly stated that women being dependent is a major cause of abuse,
Instead of you to accept your mistake, you now want misinterprete his point to fit whatever you are trying to talk about. Where did politics come into that statement I bolded now?

I've told you not to quote me if you don't understand my point and clearly you still don't.

You were the only female viewing the thread at that moment and this is what I posted below

As you can see above.. I was asking if it was you..

Well, I just feel like you keeping silent is making the accusations real. You could tell them to stop it or something..
It doesn't make it real in any way at all.

It just makes them the obsessed fools they are.
Like I said, I don't want them to drag me into their foolishness

It didn't come off that way though especially with your last statement you cut out, also you still could have asked me on the thread, why did you bring it here?

NiggaBoi:
I have come across a sizeable number of ladies and I always love engaging them in different types of conversations. I'm a person that's so focused about making a good living for myself so I'm always interested in seeing everyone around me successful and doing great. But it really breaks my heart every time I ask my female friends what they picture their future like.

The first thing they always talk about is getting married. They got me thinking and I got to understand why. The average African girl has been brought up with the mentality that marriage is the greatest achievement for them. That's why we have a lot of females feeding off men and depending on them for everything.

Our society not having enough independent females is one of the major causes of abuse of women. I'm always happy when I see females excelling and doing well in their various career paths and family life. But I guess the mentality of viewing marriage as the greatest achievement for a female has to be abolished. Our society will be better if we have as much successful females as their male counterparts.

My name is Ola, and I'm a male feminist.

Pls the mods should help me push this to FP.

What dah fück is this stupid baboon talking about? You don't want Nigeria to break up. Fine, I don't either. But you ALSO don't want restructuring? What kind of mad goats are these people? So, what should those with legitimate grievances do? Make ridicuolous compromises, swallow their pain, and pat you cretins on the back?

Remember the words of EMILIANO ZAPATA, "If there is no justice for the people, let there be no peace for the government."

All he [OJUKWU] wanted, and proposed to the all-party meeting in Aburi, Ghana, was the loosening of the excessively rigid umbilical cords that held the Nigerian hotch-potch together, so that Nigeria could evolve into a weak federation-type government that would allow the major ethnicities some autonomy.

http://usafricaonline.com/2012/02/29/nigerias-refusal-to-respect-aburi-accord-forced-ojukwu-to-lead-biafra-by-chike-momah/

You caused death, pain, destruction, burning hatred and war by your breaching of the Aburi accord. It's not too much to ask at this juncture that you faccking RETURN to it! Finito.

LET US GO FURTHER APART A LITTLE AND BE IN PEACE THAN COME CLOSER TOGETHER AND CLASH!!!

I have just made my point simple for you to understand... Many young women see men as an escape and not complement. The ladies that see their husbands as complements in fulfilling destiny are enjoying their marriage. What is there for a man to fix? That a man chooses to have 10 wives and the women agreed to marry him... I can decide to buy many cars.. thats the mentality the man has. You are saying the man should decide to have just one car.. a man will always want more. What can the cars do to be unaffordable to the man, they need to get expensive. Can you buy a car worth more than what you have?? NO. This is the point. When our ladies leave marriage and strive to make impact, the men would see things differently. As long as the African women are termed affordable, the cycle continues. I can't just get to the states and decide to marry an American, there are one or two things I will consider but on average one can come to Africa and marry an African.
I'm talking about men abusing their wives or women, what are you talking about?
It doesn't seem like we are talking about the same thing
Family › Re: The Wrong Perception Of African Women About Marriage. by Daeylar(f): 12:25pm On Oct 12, 2017
majekdom2:
he is not trying to justify useless men. An average African man believes he can marry any woman in their numbers as long as he is well to do or well placed. So, women are perceived as a "property"... goes back to the society. This is why the useless men perhaps treat what is seen as property anyhow. In other climes i.e the western world, it's a man to a woman. Women have also put being attached to a man a second priority whilst making an impact comes first. The impact made the law favor the women that's not to say there are no abuses. Point is simply, our young girls should strive to make impact first and take away this "husband's house" mentality.
You're still doing the same thing,

What I mean is this
, it's not the fault of the women, it's not on the women to change anything, the women are not to be held responsible in anyway for the actions of the men. It's the men that have this mentality, they need to change it by themselves, they didn't take the woman into consideration before considering her as property like you said so therefore they shouldn't also expect the women to do anything to change their mindset,

The problem is from them, they should fix it by themselves

Family › Re: The Wrong Perception Of African Women About Marriage. by Daeylar(f):
The independence or not of ladies has nothing to do with why they are abused,
They are abused because the useless men choose to do so, don't give the useless men excuses

Other than that nice write up op.
Although there is nothing wrong when a woman wants to be married.

But I guess the mentality of viewing marriage as the greatest achievement for a female has to be abolished.
Nothing but the truth.

Youngadvocate:
And it was not an injustice and inequality that the South who produce over 65% of Nigeria's revenue pockets less than 40% of the share?

Let the rubbish keep burning and let our use.less leaders in the South continue to keep mute just because of the loot they share.

That's what Nnamdi Kanu saw and said Nigeria is irredeemable hence, his unflinching agitation for Biafra.

The North have made it clear that they aren't going to give away their undeserved enormous advantages in Nigeria; an advantage that has marred development in the country.

They have refused, condemned and fought aggressively against every inch of process that may lead to actual restructuring of Nigeria yet, they can't provide an alternative structure that will engender development in the country.

This is what they see: a Nigeria solely owned by the North, that must service the interest of the North first, that must be dominated by the North alone. Anything to the contrary is a gross flouting of their "Fundamental Rights," (the born to rule right).

So, when the North through the federal government vigorously fought against Nnamdi Kanu who was already changing the status quo, the gullible minds and the very uninformed never understood why but jumped into the propaganda that Kanu was an agent of "Hate and Division."

Unfortunately, we the South will continue to suffer the it.

You were part of the people accusing me, why didn't you ask first before going straight to accusations?

sad sad What exactly do these igbo's want? Had this vaccination exercise began in the north and south west, you guys will blame buhari for Marginalization of igbos and favoring other regions. The president is proving to the world now that he is detribalized by sending the army to provide free medical care that none of your governors can provide yet all you can do is scream and raise false alarm instead of thanking buhari. IpoB was proscribed by the federal government and soldiers were ordered to provide health care for you people. It's called carrot and stick approach. The south east has the worst infrastructures in terms of hospital and medical care in the country, hence the need for free medical care. The out break of monkey pox in the SS and SE states is a reason why the army must vaccinate you people by force. You cannot be allowed to infect the whole country with terrible diseases cos you people are the most travelled tribe. This is the same mistake northerners made during GEJ era by rejecting polio vaccine. Their region has the highest cases of polio now. You people should limit your hatred for buhari. Accept him as your president if you want to benefit anything from his government and not be treated like 5%. A word is enough for the wise angry
