I understand your question but am waiting for you to be more specific. Which God do you really want to discuss. I am not of the belief that all Gods are the same as I believe that would be me saying God is schitzophrenic in nature and that is contrary to my belief. The Logic that all things that exist must have been created at one time or another does not apply to all things, even science. Remember the Law of Thermodynamics , I believe this be the 2nd which says, Matter can neither be created Nor destroyed.

Science in itself does not even attempt to explain God or define God and so applying scientific ideas of any sort to God is not logical. Plus, Faith begets Logic, not the other way around. So I would take God's world that He was, He is, and always will be.

Can anyone please give me viable reason as to why Nigeria is one of the religious countries in the world?

At a point in time Warri (Delta State) was said to have more churches per square mile than any other place in the world.

The are serious ascertions and my own personal take on this is that RELIGION IS THE OPIUM OF THE POOR!!

Hence Nigeria is a country with a lot of people leaving below the poverty line and so they need Salvation from their poverty.

When we achieve our destiny as a nation (Social Welfare) this may spell the end of deceptive reliogious norms and probably evn the decline of religious tension in the country.

Is church sunday offering a compulsory act?

I thought it is a thing of the heart, as in you offering wholeheartedly when u have? why are some churches making it compulsory for their members now. Imagine my cousin borrowing money for offertory and just last sunday she didn't go to church because she didn't have money for to offer, I don't think it is right for one to borrow money for sunday collection abi what do you people think about this?

NA WA O I can't even fast one day

My ‘quiet time’ is usually the moment just before I retire to bed. During this period, I try to regress back to my activities for the day, to see where I did well and where I erred. It’s a sort of self appraisal! After looking at all these, I consciously map out ways to redress in any aspect where I feel I did not do well enough to portray my FAITTH in GOD.

I do not hear him but I continue to speak to him and have come to accept the relationship as it is for now

KHARTOUM, Sudan - A British primary school teacher has been arrested in Sudan, accused of insulting Islam's Prophet by letting her class of 7-year-olds name a teddy bear Muhammad, her school said on Monday.

Colleagues of Gillian Gibbons, aged 54 from Liverpool, told Reuters they feared for her safety after receiving reports that young men had already started gathering outside the Khartoum police station where she was being held.

The teacher then asked the class to name the toy. "They came up with eight names including Abdullah, Hassan and Muhammad. Then she explained what it meant to vote and asked them to choose the name." Twenty out of the 23 children chose Muhammad.

Each child was allowed to take the bear home at weekends and asked to write a diary about what they did with the toy. Each entry was collected in a book with a picture of the bear on the cover, next to the message "My name is Muhammad," said Boulos.

The bear itself was not marked or labeled with the name in any way, he added, saying Sudanese police had now seized the book and had asked to interview the 7-year-old girl.

Please i need help,i've been experiencing some kind of oppression while as sleep,I get so pressed that i can't move or even talk.
I've prayed about it and read my psalms everytime before going to bed.But these evil spirit still oppresses me.
Please can anyone tell me what to do??

I have never really understood the idea of having a quiet time. I mean I hear it is marvelous and all but for me it is not really about a completely quiet time but I do mine all day long. So far, it has helped and I am
hoping it will help me get to a place where I can actually do it once a day and be done with it or something like that .

Lol. . . you were referring to my post, but no worries.

I know the difference between "faith" and "logic", and I was merely pointing out the fact that when Muslims try to appeal to "logic" in discussing Islam and any other religious matter, their own chosen "logic" often fails them!

Second, I have done my homework well enough to post only on those issues that I can defend with FACTS any day and any weather!

Actually, I wasn't throwing back your concerns to you, but merely expressing a simple premise: marrying someone older than yourself does not make anyone less spiritual if God had truly called them! We can not judge people based on the idea that their wives were older than them; but we certainly should be concerned that people would choose child brides and claim that connection as a "divine revelation"!

In the first place, I'm a Christian (left Islam a couple of years ago) and I don't have any Immam. Second, I'm female and not intending to take another female (widow) as wife!

I think it pays that we should not let our passions fly and misread people.
