Well,i couldn't find where Jesus said it,and neither could i find where Jesus said he should be worshipped,neither could i find where he said that he is the son of God or part of the fabled trinity.
Now tell me how all that crap found their way into the christian doctrine?

Many things that God is reported to have done in the bible are evil, so slavery is no exception.

You are engaged to a fine lady that means the world to you,the big Church wedding is set for Christmas time.
The traditional wedding (or a court wedding) is performed in August and her people finally hand her over to the groom according to customs.
As  Christians can the man and woman begin to enjoy each other inspite of the fact that they've not wedded in Church.

In my own opinion, I think coming together of Man and woman ordained by God must have the consent of Parents.  The white Wedding thing I think is the culture of the White that introduced Christianity to us.

I want us to mark the word "Consent of Parents".  Permit me to say this people decided to make things complicated because they love some ceremonial aspect of a particular method.  Some also because they like to display wealth they choose all the method available to Marrige. After all the mariage attended by Christ was not describe as being White one. And I don't think there is anywhere in the bible that provide a particular order of engament between man and woman.

@ poster, You have your Parents (Wife and Husband) consent? and that is suppose to be your Traditional.  I will just like to tell you that you are the one making life more complicated for yourself.  You could have decided on one of the three available methods.

IN any case, at lease Muhammad (as), is what I believed you were intending to write, right? At least, he was a Muslim. He prayed every prayer that you find the Muslims praying today! The five Salawat. The Sunnahs of every one of them. He made Tahajjud (the night prayers, from the time he became a prophet, to the end of his life. If he missed any night, it has been the will of his Lord that it was so, so that the conpanions and the later generations, can know that this is a possible condition). He fasted, gave Zakat and Sadaqah, made hajj and Umrah. He was the first from his brand of Islam, as it is a completed Islam to believe in ONE SINGULARLY LORD OF ALL CREATIONS!

Al Qur'an does not have to provide any information about symbols for Islam. The sunnah takes care of it. Sunnah/Hadith is the material of explaining Qur'an. The flag of Islam is White. Symbol and flag are two different things. Whats the flag of Christianity? Whats the symbol of Christianity?
