Nigeria for now is not worth it. I am a patriot but I go for the truth. If Nigeria is worth it why will our Politician seek medical outside.

Nigeria does not have a realistic Policies on ground to guide her. Nigeria is unable to provide the capital required to empower people. It is better to go out and be empowered then it will be possible to cross the poverty line.

I want to state here that indicator for crossing poverty line in Nigeria is not in the numbers of cars you ride. I use to have a friend that says he beleive he can make it in Nigeria when he struggle to get a job in the bank. He rented a two bedroom flat, he bought a good car. He said he has crossed poverty line. I told him you are still poor. He spent over two years paying back the loans from his bank. Most of us friends can not get to him for just a soft loan of N5,000. Finanlly, my friend trapped in the rat race he is now in the UK as an illegal immigrant. On getting to the UK he start sending money to us to buy properties for him, he came home to fix his marriage and now he is planning to start selling cars.

Do you think a Bank Manager will be able to acheive except through loan?

I've been thinking of a way out of the mess we find ourselves in as Nation. And hard as I try, the only solution I can think of is extermination, assisination of our leaders and cross section of our political elite! How can this be achieved and who should make the list! All the cabal are already moved to our future while we are looking at the present. If you kill all of them, that will not solve the problem. If we are proactive it is better.

For example, the next election plan is on now, we are still focussing on the past election. Why not start to groom those we beleive for the future.

Why not concentrate on what you can do to make it better. All this lamentation is uncalled for.

This is an interesting story. In Nigeria this may not be applicable. The person seem to be intelligent but it was a foolish risk as far as the company is concern. It is more costly for the company to compansate the dead than to bear the lost of money.

I think you should first understand the feeling you have for her. Are you jealous when you see her with another man? Are you admiring her developing figures? Are you sure you know what you want form her? if your answer is yes to the last part, what you want form her will help you to know if you are truely in love or not. However, I will suggest you declare your intention to her first so that the girl may know who you are. The girl may accept you or may not. If she does not, this will help you to proof your genuine love for her and if she accept you immidiately, this will help you to be careful for the future. Above all pray more than thinking of your feeling.

It may interest you that I am not an Agent. I am an investor. From an Investor Perspective, I stand to tell you that the Picture of Lawyer is not informative eneough to establish the fact on this forum. The picture was taken with already formed opinion. So it can be misleading for any serious investor.

The issue of Bankrupcy may be true according to the same, but that must not be used to discurage those who might have been looking for an investment opportunities of this nature.

I want to paint a senerio here, I got some plots land at Makogi (at the Back of Mountain of fire, after Magboro) in 2003 for N90,000 per plot. I fenced them round with just like 3 coahes off foundation and I went away. I went back to the place and investigate on how much a plot goes for at that time (2005) the land cost N150,000 an agent told me. I waited till 2007 I eventually sold the land for N350,000. As at the time I bought the land the place was jungle, no light, it is closer to a village named after the area and most of the roads were foot paths. Today land in those area is over N450,000 if available.

so what I want us to get here is that, the picture here should not make us to see that area as a bad investment. It is true that the agents have exagirated most of these estate, but then, we need to see genuine intention in their Business Plan. I am sure they will still be working tirelessly on the projects.

Finally, I wish the Lawyer will start his report of Mowe and its environs with the developed areas and then to the less developed areas to give accurate information that may inform decison of members on this forum.

I don't know if you have ever heard of restitution as an issue in Christian faith. You have only heard the side of the pastor, the woman is still alive. It is possible for anyone to come up with stories to back up issues like this. The RCCG leadership must know beyound what we are talking here. There is a popul;ar saying that :
If a wicked fellow table his case, it may not be a wicked fellow that will judge the matter. There must be something hidden that is well known to the pastor's close associates.

From the whole senerio, the man was not born again as at the point of that marriage, what if the man killed the American woman, and he frame up an issue? what if the man had children from the marriage and he claimed it was dissolved? I feel the man should come up with verifyable proves as regard his marriage. I know of a man who worked with an American woman then, he stole the woman's money and that formed the beginning of his wealth in Nigeria, today. I learnt that the man bought a house in the US as at that time and he would not dare think of going the the US.

There are so many things we must consider on this issue. If the man feels he is right with God as concern the matter, RCCG is not the only church where he could pastor. Why not seek the face of God and move ahead. But if the man will think of deceiving God with his new wife, they must remember Annaniah and Saphira.

I think its wrong to charge for toilet. It's better they collect money for parking than toilet because the latter is a necessity. If every Redeem parish in the world contributes N10,000 each, it will foot the toilet bill at the convention. Bad management if i must say. It's not daddy's fault because he may not know about it.

I agree with you absolutely. I was there, I did not pay, I told those people I am not paying, No argument I was allowed into the toilet. I also learnt there are free DMT area. I beleive G.O might not be aware of this. By now he would have received comments on the issue.

This is just an administrative issue. If anyone is placed i such position, you may adopt the same strategy as a sustainable measure. If there can be free food, I am sure Free toilet can not be impossible.

Change is constant. I am sure by the time the Estate agents start realising their vison. The story will change. The effort of the agents have opened peoples eyes on the area. You cannot see any vacant land to buy in Mowe environs except if you are looking for trouble. All the lands along the roads are already bought by one owner or the other. As soon as every of these buyer start the development (some already started) I am sure the cost will not be cheap even for the lands in the interior of ofada.

The reporter here has realy done a very good work.  However, I still feel those who are visionary will have to visit those site themselves and appreciate the potential of that area.  

The pictures are true picture of most areas that the egents advertised, they may have over emphasized the situation.  But there is one lesson to learn in this, the rate at which this side will experience development in the next 2 years will be amazing.  Only the wise will take that advantage.

I think the first wife only decline coming to Nigeria with him, not that she is no longer marrying him. This is a strong point underlining the whole issue. I feel Pastor Itua should have gone back to the U.S and dissolve the marriage before going out to marry another woman. For him not taking this step RCCG Authority may see it as a pastor marrying two wives ans it is not ethical of any buble beleiving church. It is also illegality on the side of the Pastor. Pastor Itua should have known that what ever God has joined togather, no man should put assunder.

The fact that the first wife is still legally in the marriage. The other woman will make the second wife. I don't think RCCG will accept that.

I will like you to understand that the bottomline of Bible is to let us know How men fell from grace to grass. And how God in His infinite mercy execute His plan to bring man back to Himself.

The issue you are looking at here should be seen as God correcting men misinterpretation of His words. Jesus came to perfect the Law. The Law of God was giving to the Isrealites to show to man the gravity of any sin commited to God. While men capitalised on this to cover their evils, Jesus taught us Who God is and what exactly He want from us. God want a fellowship with us.

To crown it all, a client just called me he will credit my account with the amount he was owing me by 10 a.m tommorrow.

What a Mighty God to serve. I never see this kind God before, Wonder! Wonder, Wonder!,

The man has a responsibility to his church to respond to the controversy sorrounding the Jet and set the records straight instead of allowing people to say all sorts [that is if he feels he is accountable to the church]. That apart no prudent preacher of the gospel would indulge in such an excesss as buying a private jet so please spare us that bull that the man is prudent. The truth is that i used to assume that the man was a true man of God, now i am not so sure any more. the best i can say i that he used to be a genuine man of God but now he as allowed all the power money and fame o get to him and he as de-railed[back slided]. I won't blame him though he is only human and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I am a Redeem Member I have never seen any controversy over the Jet issue. I don't think any true member has any controversy either. However, if you are a member and yopu have controversy over the issue of Jet, why not attend the next Convention. The G.O will be addressing members and Church Representatives. Are you a worker or a Minister or a Pastor, why not let your church choose you or you can discuss the issue with your pastor to raise it.
If you are non member, you will always have controversy.

In those days, when you see a billboard(signboard)before the activities of the church,you will see a picture of Jesus Christ at either the top or by the side of the billboard. But what we see today is either the presiding pastors and their wives posing at 80% of the billboard or the G.Os and their wives,just living 20% to the informations and activities of the church. And its now the order of the day. I was walking along a street and i came across a church billboard,the pastor and his wife occupied about 85% and a small space was for Jesus passport photograph squeezed with the church informations,i kept wandering why is it like this,so i decided to share it with fellow Nairalanders. Can you tell us the type of churches billboards(sign boards) you come across everyday.

In Genesis He feature as moving on the surface of water. He came upon Virgin Mary and He tranformed to human being through her and that is why Jesus is "Emmanuel"- God with us. I was a student of a Bible Institute when a Senior Pastor who was our Instructor stated that any marriage no matter how it started is recognized before God. I then asked about one that happened somewhere behind where I was living then that a young desperate man used strange powers to manipulate a very pretty (local champion) Lady into agreeing to marry him. After a few years, the Lady woke up one morning to recover her consciousness. She couldnt believe she had been living with him those years. What actually happened was that the guy forgot to perform a routine sacrifice to preserve and revive the charm.

I thing what you need to understand is: "the meaning of marriage". Because if you actually understand what marriage means you will get a better way of phrasing your question. From your analogy, I have not seen any legal consent mentioned. The issue sound like co-habitation.
