Seun, if the people were the ones leading in new decisions, then what do they need leaders for?

And lastly, I seriously doubt they are going to get massacred like the barbarians in the Nigerian Army massacred the Igbos in our civil war. Especially not with the rest of the world looking closely. I mean, they might not listen to the will of the Bakassi indigenous people because they are only Africans that live in little villages of 1000 or less and are lacking in culture. But there would still be some outrage if the Cameroonian or Nigerian government stumps out opposition for sovereignty.

Actually, thats not a joke. I heard a rumour that they are delaying the release till sept/oct so that might be the case. If I remember correctly, they claim to have skipped over a few communities.

If I had to put a finger on it, they probably found out that there are not as many Nigerians as the previous Census would suggest and this is put the Government in panic mode. Imagine releasing figures of only 80 million Nigerians when everyone is expecting to see close to 150. Its definitely not going to be pretty.

What you bring up is a really good point. I always got the impression that the Northerners that come to Abuja or the Lagos to speak on behalf of the Northerners that supposedly make up majority of Nigeria, are actually speaking for themselves. These leaders of theres care nothing about the people. It is the same leaders that told them that the polio vaccine would make them impotent. Now that there were outbreaks all over the North, they still refused to admit that they were wrong.

Honestly, in a perfect world, the Northern leaders would be taken outside and shot. Not in the head, but a few inches from the heart so that they can bleed slowly while the heart struggles to pump the ever reducing blood supply through their body. Hmm . , . .

Kool. I was in a video game design course down in San Francisco, and I came across a lot of students studying in Directing (film making?). They did a lot of kool mini movies.

What kind of project? School work?

Kool. The only thing I don't like about San Francisco is the weather. I was there during the summer time and it was constantly cloudy. I think it had something to do with its proximity to the bay.
