A man identified as Chudi Julius Chinwuba (a.k.a) Tallest - was gruesomely murdered at Orama Etiti community in Anambra state. The man whose cause of killing was not revealed as it had to do with politics in the area - had his hands tied with a rope and his legs tied to a block as he was purportedly dumped in a river in the community. His corpse surfaced some days after he was killed in such wicked and tragic manner.

A man identified as Chukwueke Emmanuel, has recounted his ordeal with men of the underworld after entering a cab in Gwarimpa area of Abuja. The victim also revealed how a passenger struggled with the armed robbers and even the driver who was on wheels during the operation in the vehicle as they eventually had a terrible accident before the robbers fled.

Few weeks ago, Che Oyinatumba wrote about it, but I really didn't understand until I had a first hand experience last night. It all happened when I entered a cab from Gwarimpa to A.Y.A at about 19:45. When I boarded, I started making use of my phone, responding to comments on my wall. I noticed we were 5 in all, the driver, front passenger, then three persons at the back, me inclusive.

Within five minutes of the journey, they entered a route through Airport road which is a different location from my destination.

At this juncture, the passenger in the front seat brought out a pistol, gave me a slap and ordered everyone to face down.

I obeyed and asked them not to harm me that I have a few Naira note with me and some money in my bank account, they collected the money with me and brought out POS machine and withdrew all I had in my bank account, yet they kept moving, I started crying, telling them to please spare my life, as I kept lamenting, I noticed all of them were Igbos except the one seating close to me who refused to bow down, he then combated the others in a fierce fight, my head was still bent.

They were hitting him, cocked the gun, but he refused to give in, he tapped me to fight, but I was already traumatized. He then started controlling the steering from the back, alas, we had a terrible accident, all doors locked instantly, they then flew from the window of the drivers seat, I hurriedly jumped out and ran away, they all ran to the same direction.

Few minutes later I came back to the scene because people started gathering thinking it was just an accident, then I explained to them my ordeal. Police came and luckily for us we saw one of the criminals phone with phone number while checking on the vehicle, I also saw my phone.

I don't know what would have become of me, but I am certain it was God himself that saved me

Imagine teachers who are to impact knowledge into students can't even express themselves in English especially on social media platform. A young graduate of Imo State University, IMSU, simply identified as Uche, has been murdered in cold blood in a community in Imo state - leaving his family and friends in sorrow. According to information gathered online, the young man's killing was allegedly spearheaded by the king of Umuomumu Mbieri in Umueze community in Imo state, Eze Peter Opara, who is said to have led his security men to shoot the deceased.

After reports of the young man's death went viral in the community, angry youths mobilized themselves as they stormed the king's palace to revenge the tragic death - by setting the building on fire.

The reason for shooting the young man dead was not revealed as friends and colleagues have taken to Facebook to mourn his death.

The Kano State Police Command has arrested a syndicate of kidnappers which specializes in kidnapping children from Kano city, take them to outside places like Gwarzo, Danbatta, Gezawa etc. to deliver them to Ward/Village Head houses as missing and found children.

They would then negotiate the ransom with the parents of the victim by demanding recharge cards. 7 children aged between 4-5yrs were rescued from them.

The suspects are (1) Khalifa Usman a.k.a Gurgu of Layin Pole, Kurna Qtrs (2) Idris Aminu of Lokon Sheshe Qtrs Kano and (3) Abdullahi Aminu a.k.a Sharu of Sharifai Qtrs, Kano.

They collected recharge Cards worth hundred thousands of naira from the parents of their victims.

The two brothers who were beheaded by cultists in Umudioga Community in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State - have been laid to rest side by side. The siblings identified as Emeka and Ifeanyi Wobo were beheaded by the suspected cultists in Rumuokpareli, Ibio/Akpo community in July, 2017.

A rival gang invaded the community which resulted a clash with another gang leading to the death of at least five people while several others sustained injuries.

Two men who decided to steal a Toyota Camry in Benin city, Edo sate - got more than they bargained for after they were caught during the failed operation. The elderly men were apprehended by eagle-eyed residents as they tried to vanish with the Camry 2.2. They were beaten by the mob who rounded them up before handing them over to security operatives.

There was pandemonium and chaos in Abakaliki while final year students of Ebonyi state University were joyfully celebrating writing their final examinations. According to reports, a drunk driver who was trying to reverse his vehicle ended up crashing through the seated crowd cheerfully drinking in one of the bars.

The car came to a halt after crushing all the tables and chairs on its path - sending the occupants scattered on the ground with broken bottles everywhere.

Those who were injured were rushed to the hospital immediately after the crash.

Ebonyi state Neighborhood watch invited alongside the Police team arrived the scene to stop to the crowd from throwing bottles.

A young man suddenly reportedly fell down in front of First Bank opposite Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, Ogui road in Enugu state. According to Chijioke Okibe, the young man fainted after vomiting for some minutes and remained there. All efforts made by passers by to make him stand on his feet failed.

Some people are saying that this might be a prank by the young man to garner attention from the public while others said that the guy may have truly collapsed due to 'hunger in the land'.

As at the time of filing this report, people had gathered in the area to help the young man.

A driver reportedly became unconscious after he was involved in a serious accident allegedly caused by police officers who were chasing him in Delta state. According to reports, the police men allegedly abandon the unconscious driver after he landed in the bush. Read what an eyewitness Etolor Anslem Tare on Facebook.

Men of Nigeria Police Ibusa division caused this accident just now by chasing a truck driver who refused to stop at their post into the bush. They immediately turned their vehicle after the driver crashed and fell unconscious.

I saw them entering their vehicle and started chasing the truck, they overtook my vehicle along Ibusa road close to Ibusa junction. Thank God people saw the police chasing the truck driver and witnessed the incident.

The unlucky driver would have lost his life. Please always stop for the police because they don't value human lives.
