It was like a movie scene when some men confessed to the death of one Thomas Ezeugwu, a business man residing in Lagos who suddenly slumped and died on Oct. 6 in the morning. The deceased's corpse was brought home to his village at Nkpologwu town in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area in Enugu state for funeral rites and burial, when the mourners came out as if being pursued by the ghost of the dead man and confessed how they planned and killed Thomas.

It was gathered that men confessed to going to Omor town of Anambra State to get the charm which they used in killing the man, who according to them was about to sell 20 plots of land without their consent and at that they planned to kill him.

They went further to reveal that they contacted two native doctors who helped them prepare charms that killed the man.

The villagers bounced on them and almost took their lives before the intervention of the Police.

A native doctor from Abia state, has bared his mind of forgiveness which he says he doesn't believe in. The hardcore traditionalist who is known for sharing pictures of his native practices on social media - said he doesn't mind if he's called the devil because he doesn't believe in forgiveness.

According to him, he pays bad with bad because he doesn't see the reason why someone who wants bad things to befall others - should be forgiven.

Imo state police command has handed over five year old Francis and two year old Chinaza to the legitimate mother,Abigail Uka. The babies were sold for N1.1m in Enugu state after they were stolen through the connection of a relative in Uzoagba in the Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo state.

This was after the mother of the children was attacked by the criminal gang numbering about seven in August.

The Imo state commissioner of police who was elated for the success recorded - handed over the recused children to the mother in the presence of the grandparents of the children, through the command's Public Rations Officer, Andrew Enwerem...

This is so sad. Heartland Queens General Manager Mr Ugochukwu Ihute, has died following a fire tragedy which gutted his apartment. According to reports, the death of the general manager of the Owerri female football club, happened some days after the club's first choice goalkeeper Mariam Ajibode cheated death in a ghastly motor accident.

The fire incident was reportedly caused by a generator as the Heartland Queens manager died at the hospital due to injuries he suffered in the fire mishap.

Police operatives in Ikom LGA, central Cross River state have rescued a supermarket owner, Mrs Asimco from kidnappers who abducted her last Saturday and took her deep into the forest and demanded ransom. According to reports, the Police traced the bandits to a forest in Ikom and the kidnappers engaged them in a gun duel.

Four of the bandits were killed in the forest. One was caught alive and brought to the police station in Ikom and was allegedly shot there...

A 30-year-old suspected human trafficker, Martha Edea, was recently arrested by security operatives in Lagos. The suspect was seen with a creamy substance, she said was a specially prepared charm for her to get more customers when she gets to Abidjan where she had been a prostitute in the past one year.

According to her, “I prepared two charms for the trip. One is a cream to make me to see work or get customers. Everybody dey use am. My friend recommended it to me. The other is ‘back to sender’. I bought that in an open market in Benin.”

Martha, a mother of two, according to her, she was lured into prostitution in Ivory Coast by one Mariam who told her there were chances of securing a good job there. She was later introduced to sex work where she slaved for months to raise 300,000 Cefa (N180, 000) for her custodian.

Martha was later abandoned in Abidjan by Mariam, who after collecting the repayment travelled to Spain.

“Immediately, I paid her, I was left with nothing. I struggled to raise some money to come back home to raise my own team because, you can only survive when you have girls working for you”, she added.

Arrested with Martha were two teenagers she recruited in Benin City. They were en-route Abidjan through Lagos when those who suspected them reported them to RRS officers in Ojodu Berger.

The teenagers, Francess Bamidele 19 and Elo Etim, 18 were recruited in Benin, Edo State through Martha’s proxies, who she gave N10, 000:00 each. They were both promised good jobs with attractive pay – pack when they get to Ivory Coast.

While Francess didn’t inform her guardian about the trip, Elo notified her mother after being fully briefed that the job is prostitution, the mother prayed for her, assisted with some money and a phone number to call.

She was reported to have said ‘instead of giving it free to boys on the streets, go and make money with it where you are going’.

Officials of the Nigerian Customs service - have been accused of wrecking havoc on innocent citizens during house raid in Oja-Odan area in Ogun state. According to Goodhope Arise, two people were killed and others wounded during the raid.

A popular community leader in Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River state, was allegedly killed by an enforcement squad on Saturday. The victim identified as Chief Raymond Nyong, was allegedly killed by the commercial motorcycle task force in a hit and run style.

According to reports, Nyong was a father of eight, and was also responsible for the six children left behind by his late brother two years ago.

It was gathered that the community Leader who was on a motorcycle to his wife shop in the Bogobiri area -was killed along Atu Street by Murray Road, as neighbours along with wife - took the body of the deceased to a private hospital where doctors confirmed him dead on arrival.

This is serious. Controversial pastor Penuel Mnguni of End Times Disciples Ministries, is back again with another shocker. The pastor who is known as 'Snake Pastor' after feeding his congregants with the reptile, did the unthinkable during his Sunday service ministration. According to a Facebook report by the church, the pastor called a cockroach to appear in the church during the service.

The pastor who "commanded the cockroach to turn to food", then called out the congregation to come forward and eat. Two brothers who came and shared it with each other - reportedly said it tasted like an extraordinary cheese.

The general overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, visited a popular hotel in Diobu, Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital to minister the gospel to female commercial sex workers. 36 of them reportedly changed their ways and became born again.

According to a report by the church, the pastor took them to already furnished estate bought for them as he led them through water baptism.

Shops and goods were also provided for the former sex workers while the ones who have children had their kids enrolled in the OPM Free schools. According to the church, 9 out of the 36 former sex workers are happily married and living with there husbands.

Some students were arrested by police yesterday in Akwa Ibom state over alleged campaign mobilization fee. According to an eyewitness, Saviour Udoh, the Special Assistant to the Akwa Ibom State Governor on students' matters, Otobong Aquila, ordered the arrest of the female students after allegedly compromising her office for N5,000.

The students were reportedly released after intervention of the NANS chairman in Akwa Ibom, Comr. Akwaowo Clifford Ukpong..
