Jobs/VacanciesRe: See Terms & Conditions Given To My Friend At A Job He Applied For by Dajugba: 11:10am On Jul 01, 2016

So, my friend trying to make ends meets applied for a job at a 'Drink Depot'.

The interviewer allowed me in since I came with him!

**No Much Time, See The Conditions**

1. You must live in his house (A large compound where all his workers stay)

2. No leaving of his house, even for strolling or to even watch football match

3. Once you come to work, you submit your phone.
i.e: no phone calls (you only use the land line to call customers). no music

4. no definite salary (He'll pay you for what you sell)
Who does that?

5. You work even on Sundays (That is if a customer requests for drink, you'll go and open the warehouse for him)

6. You'll go with him & his family to church every Sunday

7. You'll do some chores every morning in his house.

8. He'll assist him whenever he wants to further his education to the University level (but, When will you now leave his house to go to school? SMH)

Bro lalasticlala, is this not a prison?
I'm in tears now!
In this modern world?

My friend is still searching.

So fellow Nairalander, Whayahsay?
sometimes it amaze me to see how men would want to pride themselves as God.

Just imagine what a fellow man who is mortal have in mind towards a fellow man like him, just for job. Even God who created the world encourage rest after work on the seventh day, and you expect someone to work 7days a week. A word of thought to your friend, if he consider to go with those options. "There's what we call mind slavery; it is not the absent of money, or what our money can't afford, it's a condition that define someone not being able to see beyond and comprehend the circumstance that revolve it sphere." in conclusion : Reject slavery of any kind!

BusinessRe: My Busineses Failed This Year, but I Learned These Lessons by Dajugba: 2:39pm On Jun 22, 2016
LegalIcon:
I started this year with a strong resolve to venture into multiple business with a view to having streams of incomes. I am a professional, a salary earner( not up to 90k),in my late 20s and single. Towards the ending of last year, I co funded a Nur/Pry School with a friend in the town where I am.The location of the school is quite strategic. We started running it January this year.Initially we decided that we were going to charge 22k for the pupils. Soon people started complaining that the money was too much,so we lost some puipls. Thereafter,we resorted to charging only the tution fess which is 11k and ask them to pay for schools fees and Uniform seperately. So we have been able to get close to 30 pupils. Lest I forget, myself and my partner had to run from pillar to post to register the school with the appropaite agencies. We also rented a flats of 3 bedroom bungalow in a fenced enviroment directly at the main road.so far,we have spent close to 1M including the debts of over 400k which we stil have to settle. We presently have 4 teachers including a Univeristy graduate,NCE graduate and 2 SSCE holders. The problem however is that parents are not paying their wards school fees on time. Complaints upon complaints here and there. What we do is to settle our debts little by little as parents pay. Also, salaries of our staff. To the following month. Initially,we were borrowing to pay them, but we recently agreed to be using the money we get from the school to pay staff and run the school. We are yet to start reaping the gains, but we are hopeful. 2- Food Vendor Business- My church denomination early this year hosted members of the denomination nationwide in an annual convention. So,I partnered with a lady( church member) to provide cooked food and snacks for delegates. I contributed 114k but guess what, at the end of the programme, I only realized 44k. What a loss! We didn't get a good location and we were thinking too big( imagine,we cooked plenty food on the first day of the programme and by that time our tent had been pushed deep inside so much that you would pass several closer tents before getting to us)Food and snacks wasted big time. We had to be taking the food to where the delegates were sleeping before we could even realize the. meagre we got eventually. 3- Poultry Business- I had the plan of keeping poultry for the purpose of selling them during Ramadam Sallah. I got 40 broilers Chicken( 4 weeks old,as I was told) I had to construct a cage for them on the hakf a plot land we have beside our house. Yes, I calculated almost 100k as the amount I would realize eventually. Soon, they started dying one after the other. I began to get different types of prescribed drugs by those in the business. Yet,the continued to dye. Now 17 survived the'untimely death' we eventually slaughtered 2( they weighed 3.2) when they were dying. I've just sold 10 out the total at an amount which which I bought all of them. Ihave not even gotten the money I spent on feeding then as well as the money I used to make their house. Lest I forget,I also built a block building for them when they had reduced to 25. Do I have regrets? NO. Lessons learnt : 1- Seek adequate Information about any business you want to do before you start. 2- Be willing to take risk, life itself is a bundle of risks.3- Don't start big, reduce your tall dreams at the point of starting that business.4- Have at least 4 sources of income as a man. 5-Develop a serious immunity against poverty. My growing up wasn't rosy.5- Develop your entrepreneural spirit as early as possible, even before you graduate from school.6-Commit everything to God.7- Be sure and trust your partner.
learnt from your story. Can I share it on my forum, without your name?

Nairaland GeneralA Litre Of Petrol Drops To Below N145 In Some Stations by Dajugba(op): 4:53pm On Jun 17, 2016
A Litre Of Petrol Drops To Below N145 In Some Stations.

A correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) who carried out a survey of some filling stations in the Lagos metropolis it was found that the stations selling at reduced rates of between N137 and N143 per liter, depending on the area were mainly the independent marketers.
It was also discovered that even though they were selling at reduced rates, they were still recording low patronage.
fuel-1.jpg (52.92 KiB) Not viewed yet
It was gathered that some of the motorists now prefer patonising the major marketers since the new prices of the product was announced on May 11 by the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPRA)
NAN, however, observed that some stations such as NIPCO at Fadeyi, on Ikorodu Road and at Ilepo-Oba, Ikorodu town were selling the product at N143 per liter.
Some NNPC retail stations at Egbeda-Igando area and Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun were selling at N135 per litre as at Friday.
However, a few stations owned by some major marketers were still dispensing at N145 per litre, while a few made slight downward adjustment of N2.
An Independent petroleum marketer, Alhaji Aliu Folorunso noted that there had been low patronage of the product by the public as motorists, motorcyclists and those purchasing in jerry cans for their electricity generating sets
He believed that low patronage had been responsible for selling the product below N145 per litre in some filling stations.
Folorunso, also the chairman, World Global Petroleum Ltd., told NAN that the differential in sales in petrol pump prices in stations were the outcome of the recent deregulation, where competition could force down prices.
According to him, some members, who used to sell between 120,000 litres and 150,000 litres (equivalent of 4 trucks) daily are now finding it difficult to sell off 33,000 litres daily.
This, he noted, was because some motorists had been shunning some stations run by the independent marketers, who they believe could have tampered with metres of their dispensing machines.
According to him, the products from private depot owners are now cheaper and available more than products from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
“We purchase products from other private depots in Lagos and some of our members are selling below N145 per liter in Lagos.
“From private depot owners, we purchase at between N130-135 per liter as ex-depot price. If you add other costs, we arrive at between N138 and N143.
“The business is not encouraging anymore because we do not have enough margins because competition has driven the prices down. Maybe because NNPC has stake or interest in private depot, they are giving them at cheaper rates,” he said.
One Jonas Theophilus, a civil servant said he could not afford wasting his money by purchasing petrol from some of the Independent marketers who have compromised their metres.
A taxi driver Sikiru Owoeye, said: “since the new pump price became operational, I have been patronising only the big stations as I do not want to take petrol from stations where they under dispense’’.
Alhaji Taofeek Lawal, the spokesman of NIPCO Plc., told NAN that virtually all NIPCO’s stations in all states sell at below the official price of N 145 per litre.
Lawal said that the company had also set aside some incentives for dealers, who sell below N145 per litres.
He said that essence of this was to ensure distribution of enough products within short time frame.
According to him, that is what deregulation brings to the sector. We sell at N134 per litre from the depot at Apapa.
“Any of our dealers can add N6-N7 per litre as margin after adding transportation costs of let’s say N2 per litre.
“Our stations across the states sell below official pump price. Our station at Fadeyi Bus stop can decide to sell below N143 per litre, if he considers turnover because we deal in volume.
“In fact, all things being equal, Nigerians may see further drop in pump price soon, especially in the Lagos area, where several depots are situated,’’ he predicted.
The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr Ibe Kachikwu, at a Town Hall Meeting in Lagos recently, assured Nigerians that after six months, competition will force down the pump price of petrol.
He had also added that government will improve domestic refining capacity by ensuring that the three refineries are working to complement imported products by the NNPC and the marketers.
The PPRA announced a deregulation of
the downstream sector on May 11, thereby allowing stakeholders to sell at prices not more than N145 per litre.

those are great points. What about on events. Eg valentine or birthday. asides taking her to eat out, what else could be done to look romantic
well it all depends what's your relationship with the person in question. what I listed above covers all. Be it Christmas, new-year, vallentine, etc... It all works as long you dont try in on anylady that has friend zone you. you are just a friend! So stop trying to convince her you are romantic. If you find your self at such position, desist from such relationship.

This days, the best romantic relationship do not lead to marriage. You just only have to learn how to trade with people after you might have gain knowledge about their temperament, then know their strength as well as their weekness.

Shallom... Have a good evening.

1. Have good humour.
2. Be smart (some babes will try hard till u have no other option).
3. Be proactive.
4 Appreciate her opinions as well as yours.
5. Have good financial plans.
6. Only complement when she least expect it.
7. Tease her.
9. Be financially stable. you don't need a mansion to attract any babe. Believe me, play hard just as they do most time, then you can get any babe at your call.
Above all be a dude with high taste! who do not go after any pretty babes even if you are aware of your handsome-ness.

If you have done all these and none had work, ha.... maybe the people in ur village is at work.

ohoh...
I forgot to add NuMber 8
A pretty, smart & Noble lady should help fix that.

Record Exec Pulled A Gun Out On Me – Runtown

Just when most people thought this drama couldn’t get weirder, it does. Earlier today the drama between Runtown and his label unfolded on the internet, and there were claims of death threats, court injunctions etc involved.

Now Runtown has come out to say that one of record label execs pulled a gun out on him because he went to London on vacation. In an interview with Pulse.ng, here’s what he said:

“In 2014, I went to London, and the label started calling me and saying that ‘Why didn’t I tell anyone before going to London?’ I didn’t go to London for shows or anything, I went there for vacation. When I got back, I went to Mr Dilly’s house, and he started ranting, and asking ‘Why did I travel?’ I told him that it’s just like travelling to Enugu to see my mum, that it’s just London, just like anywhere, that the contract does not state that I cannot have travel.

He pulled out a gun, and threatened me, and said he was going to f***k me up. I felt scared and confused. I didn’t go to London to do a show and they found out. I went there for my vacation. So the threats kept going on.”

He also alleged in the interview that he was accused of stealing money, and got death threats. It’s definitely a crazy turn of events, and we expect more details will be coming out soon... wow

1) it means you have to upgrade your hosting resources as they are presently inadequate.

2) it means you could have ignorantly used up the resources your present hosting company provided you when you uploaded huge files (pictures, video,) etc. If this is the case, this can be corrected by reducing your image-sizes, etc

3) it might mean you need to install compression tools, to help you manage your allocated space.
