I have two lovely kids with my wife - a girl and a boy. My son is six years old while his sister is eight. Both were born here in the US. I’ve done what I feel is right as a father to train these kids, but I know not everything can be done accordingly.

My son is restless. He has the attention span of three seconds before he gets distracted by something else. My mum tells says he is a copy of me when I was his age, but that was in the eighties and the way children were handled back then is totally different from today. He hardly wants to do anything in terms of school work and almost every day I get complaints from his teacher that he does not do his work or he is disruptive in class. When other students are doing their work, my son will be the one falling off his chair or hiding under his desk. His teacher told me he acts out when being corrected. Only yesterday my wife told me the teacher met her when she went to pick them up in school and told her that my son started yelling when the lights in the class started flickering. His behavior got so bad, they had to call the school security officer before he calmed down.

This behavior is really bothering me. I know my son is smart. His pre-school teacher once told me he was the smartest student she had. My son can do complex mathematical equations off the top of his head that even his older sister struggles to do. He has a very good memory and can list off all the types of trains that exist in the US, things that even I don’t know. It’s sitting down to be serious about work that he can’t do and can’t seem to focus on.

I enrolled him in a soccer club to see if that would help him expel his excess energy. At first he seemed to be lazy as he gets frustrated easily, and rather try harder, my son would rather give up and cry. I mostly have to encourage him to put in more effort, and most of the time he does not pay attention to what the coach says. The coach told me a couple of days ago that he wants to move him to a lower group level to see if he can build his confidence there.

I want to believe it’s his being the last born for now that’s worrying him. He seemed to start being a bit more mature when my wife got pregnant last year and he learnt they had a younger sibling on the way, but unfortunately, she miscarried and we lost the baby. I’ve been thinking for a while now whether to move back to Nigeria with everyone so that we can build some sense into both of them (my daughter’s story is another one). I’ve thought of taking them both for an ADHD test, but my wife is against that. The only time my son pays attention is when he’s doing something he likes, and that is when he’s playing the PS5 I got them or watching videos on YouTube Kids.

Any advice would be welcome from parents out there.

Firstly, so sorry for that and secondly I do not see any issue here. We're in digital age and I believed most of his/her documents would be in cloud. More so, foreign schools always have a dedicated portal where students can access their profile, upload/download documents.

If eventually, all effort to retrieve the document prove abortive then a simple letter and affidavit should do.

The unforgettable event happened decades ago. There's this girl whom I knew in my community but I don't really talk to. Fortunately or unfortunately, we attended the same school. (We've been attending the same school before we moved to her community). Because the area was new and it wasn't befitting to me, I find it difficult to blend with the area and the Inhabitants.

To cut the long story short, I do not talk, greet nor talk to this girl; since I'm an extrovert, sanguine precisely, I'm always in the crowd surrounded with friends both male and female, cracking jokes. This continued for years in the school till she messed with my sister at the borehole. Naturally, I'm not a biased kinda person but based on my investigation she was guilty, as if what transpired wasn't enough,  this girl came to our house and started causing chaos claiming she's gon show me at school. I was amazed and like "kilagbe kilaju, kini temi"
Unknowingly this girl actually meant what she said,  she didn't wait for long, she devise her plan and activated it the next day. We were in class and normally we always have savages, (you know those guyz wey dey always mimic, cruise and savage teacher's words) and the teacher is a no-nonsense man. That's how someone mimicked the man and he requested that the student point out the culprit, unbelievable, while the students were still grumbling, aunty just said I was the one. Omo! It was the greatest shock of my life. I wasn't expecting it at all.

There's nothing I could say to defend myself that I wasn't the one, my friends couldn't help. (Who wan help infront of mr. No-nonsense?) I spent the rest of my day at the classroom where I received the beating of my life without solicitors. Even those that I haven't offended  were like "I knew it, my eyes have been on him" The pain, the agony, the trauma at such age, wasn't something I could bear. I approached her after I was released and promised to take revenge and discipline her (another grave mistake). She reported the case to my class teacher, again, that I threatened to kill her.

Ha! Women! Ladies! Girls!!! Fear this gender. That was another yawa for me. I was taken to the counselor to write an undertaking, that I will never hurt her. I spent the rest of my days, in the school, living with this trauma. I hated the girl with all my life. The trauma caused a big retardness in my grades, not even my parents could riddle.

I bought a German shepherd puppy less than a year ago and I spent money on her a lot, i mean a lot. Routine vet visits, expensive canned food, noodles and dry food, up to date on all vaccinations, I even hired a personal dog groomer to make her look really beautiful and attractive all the time.

If I calculate the amount I’ve spent on this dog, you’ll think I spent it on a girl I’m planning on marrying. Her parents are good looking German shepherds, in fact the dad is actually an imported GSD from the UK. The dad is agile, ferocious and will rip any stranger apart but my pup has always been too docile and can only bark when she’s inside a cage. That’s discussion for another day.

I never bought her with the intention of breeding her for puppies to sell, I bought her because I needed a pet and I swore never to mate her with any dog. Sadly I traveled out for schooling and I left her with a friend who I regularly send money to for her upkeep.

I noticed that my friend had the intentions of mating her for puppies because he really needed money and since I won’t be in Nigeria anytime soon, I reluctantly agreed on the conditions that he select a pedigree GSD stud for her. She came on heat 2 days ago and I discussed with my friend and gave him contacts of a guy with a good GSD stud. Yesterday night I was studying when he sent me pictures of her being mated by a Bingo!!!! A fvcking ekuke! A stupid 404 whose destiny and life purpose is to end up in the pot of a calabar man with pot belly. She had even achieved the lock position with the stupid ekuke. I was angry and I knew that if I was there, God knows I would have murdered that ekuke with my bare hands. How that ekuke entered the high fenced compound is a mystery to me.

How my friend could be so negligent to allow this to happen. The thing with male ekuke is that they don’t mate once and he was with her all night. Now I am thinking of telling my friend to take her for an abortion if she gets pregnant. No dog of mine is giving birth to pups fathered by an ekuke.
