The comments of some folks on this thread brings to reality the consequence of serious intellectual laziness , indolence and lethargy, especially among our youths(unfortunately).

How can someone open his smellymouth to say that he/she cannot read such an insightful and educative post by the OP and is asking for a summary?

This is really sad!

What do you expect from youth that is primary objective is to criticise any thing that go against his party or region and support anything in favour of party or region. Most Nigeria youths are not interested in intellectual conversation but hate speeches and abuse. And until we the youths wake up to our responsibilities, I don't see this nation moving forward

My brother, fuel for car is not even the priority bcs there is alternative. But the one for gen. The light is so bad and if you now stocked your freezer that's the major issue. Since Monday I drive to office just park till closing hour. I intensionally cut my trip but for house, one must put on gen. I just pray they sort out this wahaala before my fuel enter red.

Very educative an expository. I have learnt a lot. Just hope PMB will stop these experiment and seek professional advice on any economy matter. Most people may not like this, if Nigeria is a normal country where they focuse is system and structure rather than individual, PMB would have perform better as EFCC chairman. But in Nigeria, you have to be President to make desired impact bcs our system and structure don't work. Mind you I'm PMB fan and I wish him well. Because I can wait to see a President that will make meaningful impact in this country. I'm in my 30s, I have not seen any and I pray PMB proof me wrong

What is happening again in Port Harcourt, just bought fuel @170 beside shinning light airport road the only station selling.

I learnt major marketers are protesting against the directive of Hon Minister of Petroleum (state) that they should reduce their pump price. We don enter it again in PH. We are always the first to experience any fuel crisis and the last to end it. God dey oooooo

All these delay tactics may take Saraki till 2018. Our politician with their games. I thought the new criminal code does not permit this unnecessary delay. Anyway, Umar should also learn to behalf more mature. He should go and undergo temperament control course from Jega. Unless he's intensionally playing games with Saraki to extend this trial more than necessary. Because our judiciary system still remain the same no matter change that everyone is shouting here and there

I live in woji estate and pls woji road is too mediocre.

I live in Woji estate as well. True be told, can you compare Woji to old Aba road now to as it was before. To move move from Estate to Odili do take me up to 2hours before but now it takes less than 30mins either ways. Read my previous post, I'm not a fan of Wike and i do have my reservation regarding the quality of the road.And if you are in town you will notice they have started another layer from Alcon gate.

I don't know either you have been at Rumuolu or Rukpuku- Aneka link road before this administration, if yes you will admit that the guy is trying. However, it may not be commensurable with the loan he has taken so far

Had PH changed? Please i am still waiting to see a new thing been done by this govt with over 50b loan he had collected already, apart from re-coating of roads.

I'm not and I will never justify whether the projects do far justified the loan he had taken so far. And I will dispute your aguement but in this few months he has tried. He has been able to finish most of the road that Ameachi started and he has been able to initial few and completed it( Woji road, Rumuorolu ets) though as said earlier im not so impress with the quality

I'm not a fan of Wike or any politician but anyone in PH or Rivers can attest to the fact that Wike is making us of the loan. Nothing is wrong in taking loans for capital projects.And his achievement in road project is impressive. However, I have little issue with the quality of the road especially the open cutter system couple with our maintanance culture. The quality of the road is low especially when compared with Ameachi. But it's understandable, the state revenue has drop drastically. He should improve the quality of the roads.

In summary, the guy is trying and nothing is wrong with borrowing for capital projects

Though, any reasonable fellow will reason with Lai's line of thought especially when a totally new government from an opposition takes over power after a long rule by a different party. But there will be serious revolution if this APC led government tell us this same old story after 2years
In a civilised country that have enjoyed stable democracy for years, whoever is contesting for power must have detailed information and blue print on what to do different. Moreover, I quite understand that we are envolving democratically. However, APC led government has clearly demonstrated for the past 365days that they know little or nothing about Nigeria state before they take over. And maybe because Nigerians are totally tired of PDP and the only option then was APC.

In conclusion, as an individual I believe in PMB to make the necessary changes but I see him more as someone who will basically lay a good foundation for subsequent government. We should not expect a drastic change but a systematic and structural change and that is what we need at the moment especially in area of corruption which has eaten deep into our system. The latest revelation of how past government officials almost drained the economy of this nation is an indication that PMB is serious in that regard. Personally I don't care about whatever it's been called it will even send a signal to those in power now that anything can happen so they will tred with caution.

However, this government should be a little bit more sensitive to the plight of an average Nigeria and also lead by example by reducing cost of governance. I find it unbearable that National Assembly budget is a line of 115billion despite the present hardship that most Nigerians experiencing. The sacrifice should cut across as a matter of fact, the leader should even sacrifice more. civil servants salary are is been own in months but no state assembly is been own.
I'm actually very optimistic about PMB led goverment. However, I will be highly disappointed and even be willing to play a major role in revolution move if by 2018, PMB led government is still telling this same old story. God bless Federally Republic of Nigeria

I'm sincerely disappointed in the Nigeria Youth that never benefit from the loot these bunch of criminal looted keep shouting witch hunting. Honestly, by now Nigeria should realised that these people almost empty the treasury of this nation in their pursuit to retain power by all means.
We need more of these irrespective whatever name the anti development agents call it. These will also put the rulling party on their toes that one day power will change hand and they will also account for their deeds.

My prayer now if for Nigeria to have a viable opposition party that will always to the party in power on their toes.

Honestly speaking, Wike is trying. I was never his fan while contesting but I think he has been able to convinced me. Government is continuous and Wike established that fact despite being in another party with previous government. He has really tried in the area of road construction. I now drive from Woji to DLine within 30mins. The journey that do take me approximaty 2hours when we have only slaughter road

If he continue this way by consolidating the efforts of previous administration, Rivers will take it's rightful position. However, he should try to develop other LGA outside PH. Port Harcourt is the only city in Rivers whichbis not the best. God bless Rivers State, God bless my state ( Ondo state) and God bless Nigeria
