To me I would have appreciate they pay the most vulnerable in the state 5k each directly to their account. But trust the politicians, they will never do what is beneficial to the citizens if they wouldn't benefit 85% them.

I recommend we make palliative available to Nigeria especially the poor Nigeria to boost their immune system and improve ghetto current conditions of our health infrastructure. However, I strongly believe city like Lagos and Abuja should have such of measures to prevent interstate traveling.

From the way our leaders are going about this their lock down, hunger will even kill some Nigerians and most people will revoke if this lock down continues

I just don't understand how Nigerians think. To me no reasonable person should donate a dine to government at the moment. We have lots of poor people around us that 1k means a lot to at this moment.
We all know that there is bit of altruism in whatever gesture we do but please let's channel our giving to those who really needs it not these clueless leaders

Rivers state is made up of mostly people who claimed to be Christians that's a fact. However, are these people which I'm among really Christ like is another question entirely. Most communities in Ogoni are deserted due to rampage activities of cult members likewise most other community. Our politicians always play this religion card because they know majority are gullible.
I'm a Christian and I live in Rivers but is Rivers state a Christian state only God can perfectly answer that.

The irony if this scenario is that Wike even do worst than this in Rivers during last house of Assembly in Rivers. I'm neither APC nor PDP fan but from the recent judgment I can conclude that PMB is a man of principle. Though I don't except die hearted PDP to accept this assertion but it's the truth. The Zamfara and Rivers judgments are clear examples. With all honesty I don't think most presidents aside Musa Yaradua of blessed memory in Nigeria can. Your deduction is wrong, not all South-West voted for APC. Oyo State was won by PDP and other elective position like senate and house of representatives seat have members from both major parties in all the south-west state. To me that's how politics is played so as to remain relevant whichever party wins. You don't play politics of hatred and expect a better deal. We all need to learn and move ahead

This man is saying the obvious. I’ve always known the Prof to be Intelligent and Articulate whenever he’s making a speech at the Senate. The present constitution is a disaster and I’m glad someone is speaking out. Unfortunately he’s been part of the National Assembly for years and I guess hes saying this now because he won’t be going back to the National Assembly after May. He should speak out more and we Nigerians should stir up discussions that will lift the mind of our people to demand for a better Constitution.

If nothing is done as soon as possible to curb these incessant killing almost everywhere in Nigeria; from Zanfara to Port Harcourt, this menace may continue to increase. Naturally when the blood of innocent person is shed, it usually cries for vengeance and this leads to more killings. All hands must be on deck to reduce curb this. It's so disheartening that all of us go about our normal duty as if nothing is happening. There is virtually cult killings everyday in my beloved Rivers State.
