Our problem in the country is more with the governors. When it comes with fighting insecurity, they are quick to say security agencies are under exclusive list and they are not controlling them. However, they are quick to order the same security agencies to perpetrate their selfish political fight. The same Wike who is quick to cry fowl and cast aspersions on how security is under PMB control will always give order to the same security agencies for his selfish reason. |
OP, I'm a man but I blame you not your wife. Most times we expect our wife to do everything that should be collective responsibility. Two of you didn't have enough conversation regarding family planning, I'm sure if you give her option like you using CD or pulling out, she would have agreed to her going for family planning. Family planing is a collective decision, I'm married for 10years now with an 8year old daughter and 6year old son. Myself and my wife had a conversation about family planing and she opted for one. And must be honest with you, we are both not the sex crazy time but whenever the urge to have frequent sex comes I still ensure I pull out bcs I'm afraid family har tendency to fail. By God's grace, financially I can take care of more kids but to me raising children isn't all about money. I wanted kids I can give enough attention, I wanted kids I can conveniently go over their homework with them and revise with them while writing exam. I want to know my kids in and out an the more the the task become impossible. My submission is that men should have thorough discussion with their wives when it comes to famiy planning and it must be a collective responsibility. Some ladies don't care and believe child bearing is competition. More reason husband need to know it's a collaborative effort, if the woman insist, the the man should use condoms Gaggii: |
donmik:OP, I can't send you video as I can't be part to sharing child pornographic content it's against the law but it's was on twitter as at yesterday. As I said earlier, I had to watch the video with my wife just to learn as I have an 8year old daughter. From what I saw in that video, I can authoritative tell you that the girl has been molested for years and the parent didn't see the red. As a matter of urgency, that small girl needs serious rehabilitation and counselling. How can a girl of that age be totally naked in front of other boys and perform different without shame still mervels me. I'm married for 10years an di can boldly tell you that my wife only make moves to do such style whenever I encourage her while on bed bcs of her moral upbringing. My fear is that this is one out of millions going on in our society and even the Children with good moral upbringing are even at greater risk as influence from the corrupt ones is now high. I just believe we can do more as parents to raise our children better. Even the boys in tht room watching that ugly act is unbelievable |
We can't exonorate the school for its negligence in one way or the other. But not sure you read the press release. The girls were kept on the 11th floor while the boys were kept on the 5th floor. How does that translates to cohabitation Normal me I don't like to watch such video but because I wanted to learn as parent. I had to watch the video. It such a shame that the mother of the girl will come to the public space and claimed that the daughter was raped. Since yesterday I can't rap my end on while on earth will make a small girl to be total naked in the presence of other boys and give a boy different styles. My conclusion is that we all have failed these children, the level of moral decaying in the society is responsible for this act. I'm not saying this is totally strange as it happening among children especially those who have people abused but for the small girl to go that naked in the presence of others and rocked a boy at that age it so appalling. We need to do more as a society to redirect these children. The parents, the schools and the society at large failed those children and we should all take responsibility. It's totally clear that the young girl has been constantly abused and the parent didn't know. It's obvious, she wasn't a virgin at that age and the mom didn't pick the red flag. That small girl need serious rehabilitation and counselling. I'm certain an adult has been constantly molesting that small girl and she has become so wild. Even some of us who are married for years don't constantly engaged in those pattern of sex emperor863: |
Honestly, you nailed it. I believe most people are getting things wrong but your perspective to me is the reality. every marriage has it's challenges and couples do have their moment. But it shouldn't be toxic I'm married for almost 10years now and the reality is that myself and my wife do argue and have our down moment. As a matter of fact 2years into our marriage we hit ourselves and that was the only time. But the honest truth is that marriage isn't for the boys and girls, it's for men an women. But ironically we have lots of boys and girls getting married these days. No marriage is perfect, every marriage has it's challenges. However, I wouldn't recommend anyone be a man or a woman to stay in a constantly toxic relationship or where te abuse is a reoccurring decimal. My submission is that we should all know that marriage isn't a bed of roses before someone we pack her load from her husband hiuse on small argument that happens one a while or before a man will also send his wife packing just bcs she yelled at him. Conclusively, no one should endure an abusive marriage/relationship especially if there is a treat to life. abbey621: |
Honestly if Tinubu can't support Osinbajo to contest because of his selfish reasons then Amechi is a better option. Let PDP present Peter Obi while APC present Amechi then alot of us will go out to vote. We need an agile and energetic leader especially at this critical state of our nation. Buhari experience is what we shouldn't repeat especially at the critical time. We don't need a leader who would be proud of working for 6hours a day where he met to be working 18hours finding solution to the enormous challenges of this country. We need leader who can travel wide and breadth of the country trying to have first hand information of situation of things by interacting with the people. We don't need present who will only read executive summary because the doctor advised he take things easy. Even though, I would have love we have a fresh leader who is not part of the Nigeria problem but the honest truth is that it might not be feasible in 2023 but we can choose wisely among the present crops of politicians |
Bully, gay and lesbian have always been in the boarding from time. My concern is the fact that we now have parents who are so quick of abandoning their parenting responsibility. I'm not against boarding but I believe strongly is for parents who are no time at all for their kids. What we see today is so sad that parents get so tired quickly of their roles as parents. I know lots of people that drop their kids in boarding for just no reason other than the boy will disturb in the house. For me this case is an eyes opener for parents. We all have major roles as parents and we should stop running away from our responsibilities for no just reason. |
We are too emotional and hypocrital. Dialpad: |
Yes PMB has failed this nation and some of us who believed him to make a different are highly disappointed with his ineptitude. However, you can compare Ebola with this Covid-19 palava. Check the developed nationsnof this world they couldn't curtailed this virus. But I agree with you 1000% that Bihari is a failure Skynet45: |
Kogi is still surprising to me, the 5cases recorded over two months ago didn't increase. I suspected Yaya didn't want to make money through this COVID ennyrah: |
So Obaseki isn't an APC member. We should wake up from our sleep as people, these people are of the same political party who main aim is to continue to loot this country dry. elisho: |
I can see the reason why oga Wike suddenly wake up from his sleep and starts his attack on the FG. So he was promised to be paid and keep mute and now realize he might have been scammed and wakes up. Honestly, almost all our leaders careless for us in this country. They only care for their pockets. |
Even in this pandemic, when they can't be fly abroad for the best medical treatment, they still opt for the best medical treatment in Nigeria. It's so sad that our politicians still haven't come to the term that no amount of money can save a life when it's time. It's high time these people and everyone of us to start living for posterity. One day the high and mighty and the lowest in the society will return to dust donbachi: |
I pity gullible people taking politicians words seriously. I'm certain give this same shaibu or what's called few years, he will betrayed this same Obaseki. Nigerian politicians are all the same. Nah where Belle face. They lack anything called integrity |
Which opposition? To me in Nigeria nothing like opposition. Majority of our politicians are where belle face. If we are talking about opposition we are talking about ideology. Tell me which political party has ideology in Nigeria. Politics in Nigeria is a very lucrative business aside from their huge allowances, they are also the contractors that execute projects. Take a clue from Exo election 2016 and 2020, you will realise that nothing like opposition party in Nigeria. We have punch of selfish and corrupt people parading themselves as politicians Sam0: |
I'm a Christian but I have come to realize that most Nigerians aren't objective the way we address issues. And this still contributes largely to our problem in Nigeria. For Christ sake the guy has every right to complain the moment he discover the right of his followers are being violated. The same people condemning the man for saying what he feels doesn't accommodate the view of his followers are the ones praising Past Chris for speaking up for the coward Christians. |
OP, I actually understand the angle you are coming from. But I can assure you that some development will take years without borrowing. Even to start producing what we consume as you propose, we might still have to borrow. Let's look at this from this angle, how long do you think it might take someone in Nigeria with and average monthly income of say 100,000 to build say 3bedroom flat. The answer is obvious. With a good mortgage that has low interest rate, the same person can borrow money to build a house and service same loan with yearly rent he would have used to pay for rented apartment in couple of years. Honestly, nothing is wrong with borrowing providers it's for capital investment. It's just unfortunate we are in a country where even the so called borrowed money for development will still be looted. |
Honestly, this is a norm in Nigeria politics. I wouldn't be surprise if Tinubu even decamp to PDP to actualise his president ambition. The only problem I always have problem with are the gullible Nigerian especially the youths who fight over these crop of selfish looters who careless about anybody except their pocket. They keep the jobless youth online to be abusing each other on ethnicity and religious ground while they care only about their pocket. I will always say this, APC=PDP and they will keep changing clothes until we decide to exercise our power via our vote and put an end to them. Imaging what's happening in Edo State, 2016; Obaseki(APC) vs Iyamu (PDP) 2020; Obaseki(PDP) vs Iyamu (APC) Ironically, lots of Nigerian youths are still fighting over these birds of the same feather especially online. Which way Nigeria ?? |
Honestly in as much as I like the woman's gut but I believe she should behave more maturely. Some who has occupied that exalted position as MD NDDC should get some decorum while addressing the media. If she can prove the allegations of sexual assault m, then he should be ready to be dragged. |
Honestly, Nigeria government tired me. Who do we offend to deserve these crop of leaders? The two ministers managing our education sector are parallel. With due respect to the to these two people they don't deserve to manage ministry of culture talkless education ministry where you expect to see people who understand what it takes to run such ministry. To me these two men are confused human being. My candid opinion is that the terminal class such as JSS3 and SSS3 should resume to write their exams. Any parents that's not comfortable sending their wards to write exam should wait for next year. Majority of these same children we said they shouldn't write exam are moving about everywhere. Government on his part should be the one to put machinery is place in government own schools. Almost all the private schools that write WAEC already have what it takes to ensure the safety of these teenagers who to an extent can take precaution. Having said that, I'm not in support of all the classes to resume school at the same time especially those younger ones in the primary school. |
OP I wanted to ask him same question. I have been leaving in PH for over 15years and I know most part of PH. Some pictures posted by OP is strange to me as well. Pls OP do us well to label each picture appropriately. Mind you I give it to Wike on road construction especially our upcoming 3 wonderful flyover. But some of the pictures he posted do not exist in PH, the roads are in the OP imagination Oghenerobo2002: |
Same old story. How come that any one standing trial in Nigeria especially the politician become critical ill all of the suden |
Who do us for this country? Why do we have leaders that reason from their anus? I'm certain the money allocated to commissioned this project is more than the bridge itself. We celebrate mediocrity in this country. We commission virtually everything. Even buying shovel and wheelbarrow we'll still commission it. My annoyance isn't with the useless leaders that organized these useless commissioning but the people that do gathered to celebrate such. I'm looking for a day this mediocre called leader called for such commissioning and nobody show up |
That's why you aren't Nigeria politician. They are all selfish and greedy, always want to eat their cakes and have it. nairavsdollars: |
Not a fan of any politicians but like being objective. If you follow up the story of Akeredolu COVID-19 experience, he already admitted he treated malaria a week before traveling to Abuja when another governor suggested he go for test. The summary is that definitely he already had COVID-19 while treating malaria. So the virus was already at end stage when heven went for test. This shows that he wouldn't have even known he had COVID-19 if not tested and that's definitely is what's happening to lots of Nigerian. Lots of people might have had COVID-19 but assumed it's just malaria. More reason while everyone needs to be extra careful especially those with terminal illness and the elderly cpu2006: |
True talk sir. Even on more pressing and crucial matter nothing happen talk less what is luxury Phyde: |
Greed will make few individual denied a whole community of such benefit. Why are people like this. Mind you this is not only Aluu problem, it's a problem that's so rampant in this part of the country. A company would want to construct a road as contribution to the development of a community and the youth will be asking for settlement. I remembered years ago while I was serving in Ogoni land, we traveled all the way to PH just to withdraw money in ATM or Bank. I heard a particular bank who already built a structure can't commence operation in Bori then because of the community levies. We can't develop like this with this eating our future today's mentality I'm not in anyway saying community levies and disturbances is only in this part of the country, it's actually every where. However, what I'm sure is that when a community sees the benefit of such project it should supersede selfish interest of selected few. Why do we think Dagote built refinery in Lagos as against place like Rivers, it's purely on incentive offer for people that sees beyond the now. I leave in Rivers and do business here and I can say emphatically that few selfish individual can frustrate any good intension for the benefit of majority. |
Honestly I'm not complaining. I'm only saying our government can't do anything regarding the DSTV case except we the subscribers do something. By God's grace I have been using one of their top package for years so I understand we are operating in pure capitalist economy. However, any promised by any government to force DSTV to reduce their tariff is a fallacy. Xisnin: |
You are right but that's not the kind of package I expect from DSTV. Mind you by God's grace I'm a subscriber for one of their top package for years now. Even though they are purely to make profit, I believe they would do good to leave the major news channels such as Channel TV and TVC few days after expiration. You will only enjoy NTA for free Temidayo9: |
I beg to disagree sir. The only channel open for free after expiration is NTA. No Channel TV or TVC beeboy09: |
This is not the first time we are hearing this and honestly we don't care. I'm sure nothing will be done by the time the DSTV drop some millions. To put an end to this monopoly, I believe we the subscribers have a lot to do. We could stop subscribing for a month to protest our displeasure to this endless increase in tariff. DSTV is so useless that even during the lockdown when service provider like MTN are giving 10 free SMS per day, DSTV can't even leave the basic Nigerian station like Channel and TVC when subscription expires. I believe we the subscribers are the only one who can break their monopoly and bend them to stop taken us for a ride. If we wait for the government that song will change when they are bribed, then we are in for long thing |
It such a shame that politicians have so much brainwashed our youths and it's a pity. I took my time to read majority of the comments on this topic and I have come to a conclusion that we still have very long journey to development in this country. If our priority as youth and the so called educated youths is what's is demonstrated on this topic, I'm actually ashamed of been a Nigerian youth. Why are we like this? How did we get to this point? We leave the major issue that both APC and PDP have failed this nation and here we are still portraying same crop of useless leader under the disguised of ethnicity. Majority of us commenting on this platform are either unemployed or under employed, majority can't achieve their dreams and aspirations due to the failure of these set of people. Majority don't have access to something that resemble good health care and here we are singing praises of who is a better devil under the disguised of ethnicity. Nigerian youth wake up from your awkward way of thinking. And I must say this unequivocally, we can't take our destiny into our hands and liberate this nation from the hands of these crop of thieves if we continue this way. The politicians knows this that we can liberate this country if we set our priorities right that's why they keep us busy with ethnicity rivalry and religion sentiment. Who cares who become our leader provided we will enjoy something close to governance in this country. Note for the past 20years of democracy under PDP and APC which to me there are same people changing clothes like camelion in the bid to achieve their selfish ambitious Edo state is an evident, can we boost of the following * GOOD ROADS *GOOD POWER SUPPLY *GOOD EDUCATION *GOOD HEALTH CARE *EMPLOYMENT * WORKING REFINERY The list is endless. We can't boost of anything that both PDP and APC have achieved in the last 20years and here we are singing praises of the same set of clueless set of people. Nigeria youth wake up |
