You say it as if it's that easy. How many mechanics can rebuild engines to last pass 6months in naija? Even buying tokunbo engine and Trans is 50/50. You have to be there when fixing it to be sure they used the correct oil and stuff( how many ppl have luxury of time to stay with mechanics? ) Now, I wanted to fix ect sensor 2 code, I had to buy another radiator, I can't find new one for the brand. I bought tokunbo all the way from lag and I stay in ibadan. The extra costs, stress and all just because of 5k sensor. To many quacks littered every where. The few good ones will have too many customers and will overcharge you.

Mhen, I'm not cut out for car headaches. God bless me, I will go for brand new car next. So I know I can enjoy it without issues for some years .

But I don't mind if you can buy a naija used car and turn it to back to factory settings, I'll buy it from you.

I share your sentiments. After what happened today, I told myself na direct toks next time by God's grace. The truth is that by the time you finish fixing the Naija used, you would have spent almost the same amount for toks.

Money clearly wasn't an issue here, the issue here is due to the doctors on strike for failure of FG to meet their demands.

My heart bleed for the family, but this sort of strike shouldn't be happening in a country of 270 plus population. It's bad enough that the health system is substandard but doctors going on strike is synonymous to police going on strike.


If not for anything, now I know why most people who already made it Nigeria still Japa.

If money wasn't the problem, what about private hospitals. Are the doctors there also on strike?

Get another expert. Get like 2 to 3, compare and make a decision. I don learn. But on a serious note, I will never advise anyone to buy a naija use. I don learn. Even if na 1999 toks, buy and have peace. Economy is not friendly to be wasting money on car repairs.

You might end up spending the amount that will get you a toks.
