But bro snc ure still in nigeria why not apply to many schools then enroll in the one of ur choice on getting to Germany as many ppl do it to save u all the stress. The major reason why ppl tend to move from a school or course from my knowledge is when dey find the course they are doing too difficult for them(or not wt dey expected) nd are not meeting up, or for city nd exceptional personal reasons. Pauluche: OK boss Eke pls do ooooooo. |

Yes boss acedboss: I'm aware of the situation Dam12 is talking about, the guy was studying at the University of Greifswald in the east and decided to switch to the University of Cologne. Matter of fact, we're gonna be classmates Starting from WS2015/16. Same class, same school. I yeah, it's very possible to cross to another uni when u're in Germany. |

I don't think so snc he's in germany already nd he's just going to sort the block acct ish with branch in the new state. I know he was successful in his transfer and he's starting all over nw in cologne Pauluche: Bros please throw more light on this. won't the Aliens office request for a proof of financial means especially when you've already gone one semester and your funds have been depleted by virtue of that? |

A friend told me of a guy that even transferred from a school nd state cos the place was damn too dry to another school Whc is a high profile sch in a city. So it's possible It all depends on what u want for urself nd d choices u mk lattychem: Can someone still change school after a semester.(I.e the person is admitted for the course he/she does like In summer and latter get admission to his/her desired course for winter. Tests for Msc students depends on the individual I don't think it's a norm already. Just in exceptional cases, and I feel if u do well in the interview u won't be given a test GottSeiDank: Has this been confirmed? Pls what's your source. Mehn, lots of changes for 2016. Before it was test for MSc students at the consulate now this. This is getting more interesting Team2016 take note. |

How come uni of koln is not here victz: I didn't use uni-assist I applied directly to the school. like I said before almost all the top universities in Germany are not under uni-assist except the ones located in Berlin. For example these are list of all the Top Universities in Germany it's only the ones in Berlin that are under uni-assist

Exactly the whole idea Kelvinpam: I still dont get y'all point. firstly itz a faceless forum and u are responsible for your security in here..if you choose to expose yourself or not, itz all in your hands.
I read abt the incident some months back and if I'm not mistaken, she took a taxi from the embassy to her destination and the taxi man robbed her and took her handbag which contained her visa. Do we now assume the cab man got her info on nairaland? Is lagos state completely free of such kinda crime? Seriously I dont see how both incident relates to each other.
I started out in the canada thread and dat particular list helped out locating whoz heading to same school, estimated time of visa approval and schools wit reasonable number of nigerians.
We are solely responsible for our security on nairaland. If you reveal too much about yourself, then you face the consequences but I can beat my chest and say that list poses NO security risk.
That is my personal opinion tho |

Well its actually not a big deal cos its works well on the other thread besides we are not providing any real name, contact or identity on it. As a matter of fact some ppl have actually said their interview dates couple of times here before going for it and there hv been no problem, also the interview date can even be dropped/updated after it's done if ure skeptical about dropping it here before going for it. *p.s Its very voluntary since some ppl don't contribute here afterall but read, learn nd move Dehonourable: With due respect sir, one of our members had a terrible experience last year and we will not want to experience such again. Therefore, I urge and suggested that evry members of this honourable forum shld keep some activities concerning this germany pursuit confidential for our own safety because we are on a faceless forum.
I think we are very much comfortable the way things are moving so far, so disclosing some sensible dates may not be good for us.
Thanks. |

Yea exactly. Its a very nice concept so i will try to outline it here so we can all follow up and give individual updates on the admisson/visa process. Since winter2015 folks are going now, it will start with team2016 summer and winter guyz. honourableseyi: Are you talking about listing the name of applicants, schools, Interview done or awaiting, dates of interview and so on? When I was still following Canada thread, something like this is on ground I think(Name, school, paper or online route, date submitted and so on). |

I have been busy at work so I have not hard time to really outline it out but I will do so this week by God's grace #team2016 We win... DanIndia: If you've got something to share, do so, now! You never know who it may help. Don't wait for months because someone else might beat you to it. |

Alright thank you. I asked the question because I saw it somewhere that it's better to send the documents together with the application forms so I thought that will take a lot of time waiting for the applicatn period to open yusufftaiwo: Yes... even Uni assist always advice u send Ur docs before d application period. I like ur spirit... Ure good to go |
Travel › Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Dam12: 11:58am On Sep 10, 2015 |
Hello house, pls I would like to know if I can send my documents to uni assist for evaluation before the application period opens(abt 5wks before) and send the application forms separately when it opens. I'm just thinking of how to cover up for that 6weeks evaluation period nd also for Uni assist to be able to send my docs early enough to the schools. Iono how plausible this is |

Bro my point was directed to the part of him not disrespecting the fellow with suggesting the probability of a motivation letter and cgpa dt is not good enough, it's his own opinion. Besides I do not support using proficiency letter alone in all applications cos I know writing an English test is also a boost to an application. Maybe u dint get me well lmuhopeful: Bro his statement was affirmative. He clearly stated that the other person didn't miss the admission because of his lack of English Proficiency exam results. How affirmative do you want him to be again before you realize he was affirmative? Besides Ahbbiey has been very polite in her approach on this English issue |
Travel › Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Dam12: 3:01pm On Sep 06, 2015 |
I don't know why some ppl here tend to pick up on posts and read their own meanings into it without carefully analysing and understanding the intent of the person's post. Its obvious here that his statement is not affirmative, it's just a possibility and I don't see that as an insult or disrespect in anyway because what he stated can be a possible cause of rejection. Let's just stop this attacking behavior and try to get the true message of a post instead of raising issues pls. Motivation letters and cgpas might not be good enough just as we have strong ones so it's just a speculation and his own view with no intent to accord any disrespect according to the post. One luv Ahbbiey: Lol, so did you review his motivation letters to know they are bad.
Do you know his cgpa?
Be careful of what you say, there is a level of respect each person should be accorded.
You could have made your point without referencing the possiblilty of him having 'weak application requirements' |

Yeah I heard of that option but the issue here is that I don't know anybody in another sch dt can help out nw lmuhopeful: What some of us do is that we ask the students record office to send the transcript to another school where we know someone that will hand it to us. |
