freedomtours:When does this now trigger the passport approval. |
Undyinglove:Depends on the unit of measurement. A 'normal' AMH level is considered to be 1.0 ng/mL to 3.0 ng/mL. |
Moradeyo21:You're welcome. I pray your BFP arrives soon. |
Uten9z:Put aside whatever you might have heard from a pastor especially of churches that mostly play emotional songs to whip the congregation up, do not emphazise obeying God ie living Holy, repentance, integrity etc and operate without transparency in decision making and lack of checks and balances. Think about what you've read yourself in the Bible with the help of The Holy Spirit. Do you honestly believe the lack of employment OP's brother and the underemployment OP is facing is because OP lacks "serious commitment in any Bible believing church"? Where did you find this revelation in the Bible? Nigeria has perhaps some of the largest church memberships in the world. On a 10km stretch of road you'll usually count churches in 10s. Gatherings in 100,000 of thousands. Yet amongst the highest under employed and unemployed in the world. At least 40% unemployment and even amongst the 60% employed 50% earn below a true living wage. Compare with nations with 2% unemployment and minimum living wage is raised almost every year in line with inflation etc. God is not an author of confusion nor is He God of injustice. Jesus didn't come to give material wealth. He came to give eternal life and after accepting and believing Him it should show in how we behave, our character. The wealthiest people in the world are not Christians apart from founders of pentecostal churches who preach that the more time and money you give to their organisation the more wealth you'll get. Ofcourse they get wealthy. The Gospel of Christ is to love our neighbours, be honest, diligent, holy and do all as unto The Lord. Free education, health care, dignity of humans and even animals, paying good wages etc practiced in many countries are from their Christian heritage but sadly what is mostly being preached in Nigeria now is the gospel of mammon. You can pray for OP and his family and send him info about legitimate job opportunities you find or ask charities around you to help. OP I don't know if you're a Christian but that isn't the point of your post. Nevertheless, accepting Jesus is the best decision one can make and finding a good church. It'll build you spiritually and you might even make social contacts that can help professionally but no where in the Bible are followers of Jesus enjoined to spend so much time in a church building. In fact they met in homes in those days not religious buildings/synagogues. |
saasala:It really is disheartening that in 2023 a Nigerian with internet access will say this and 134 people have actually liked the post. Yes I agree the OP is not to blame but neither is this the time to blame his mother or other member of the family. This is issue is more than them. He's come for help, what he needs is suggestions and assistance. How is this a spiritual problem? Yes, spiritual in terms of the nature of man is lawlessness which is why in a country as blessed as Nigeria with natural resources, good weather, excellent location and youthful population a 2.1 graduate can't get a job talk-less of an able bodied man of 38yrs old. OP, please PM me, I'll send you a small token. My prayer and desire is that someone on here offers your brother and yourself a job. Can he cook well? Can he drive? Can he sew? What does he have passion in? Do churches around you offer training? There's a dispatch company I use based in Magodo and I know the lady is currently looking for more riders. OP, also consider messaging active companies on Instagram and Twitter for roles. I pray The Lord raises more helpers for your family iJn. |
Moradeyo21:Origene Fertility Ikoyi Lagos and Ponders End Clinic Benin City are the two clinic's I'm aware of in Nigeria that have treated 0 sperm successfully. So try them. You shouldn't have to consider donor sperm without treating the issue first. Also, for ivf they can extract the sperm or aspirate from the testicles ie MTese. All the best. |
Moradeyo21:@Moradeyo21 Proviron is mesterolone, an anabolic steroid. This will prevent the testis from producing any sperm. He needs to stop it immediately. Are his testis smaller now? How long did he use it for? He needs to see an endocrinologist specialising in male fertility hormones. Get him to do a a full hormone panel ie Testosterone, LH, FHS, Prolactin etc. In simple terms Proviron floods the blood with testosterone which makes the testis stop producing test and LH. The testis can only produce sperm with the testosterone produces around the testis. He'll probably be prescribed Clomid, HCG and FSH but it depends on his results. Don't use any steroid that gives or mimics testosterone. Does he feel hot down there? If so, cool it with a gel pack in a sock cos you don't want the skin to get ice burns or just cool water in a sachet. |
BlackyOne:Yes, I understand in Nassarawa it's 3days maximum. In some parts of the north even the passport price is cheaper officially and ready in 2 days still. |
Ilosken:I'm in a similar position. I have 10days in Abuja in 2months and will like to change my surname due to marriage. Please let me know if you get a sure lead. |
Is it easier, faster to get one's passport at the HQ in FCT or Gwagalada? Also, when making payment online, which payment option is best? If one misses the given capturing date what happens? Can I simply go there to get captured after the given capturing date? Also, the dates given on the website for potentially available capturing dates are they real time, close to reality or very far from availability? https://appointments.immigration.gov.ng/availability The Abuja FCT centre says May18th. Is this likely to be the date I'll get when I pay? |
Tolifefun:I've emailed you. How much though? And how long does it take? |
Justbesure:What do you mean arrange things? To speed it up? I need it urgently. |
Tolifefun:that's Gwagalada? How much for 5yrs and 10yrs? |
Is it easier, faster to get one's passport at the HQ in FCT or Gwagalada? I filled the form on line in January but can't retrieve it. Any idea why? Few days after I filled the application I managed to log in using the reference and application numbers to track my application on the website but not been able to today. CAC is an indigenous Nigerian church so they might do services in Yoruba. Do a search for their website. There're at least two in North London I think. Though I know one had a fire and when I passed a few weeks ago it was still being repairs or so. babajeje123: |
I'm trying to book a return ticket to Abuja from London but there seems to be very limited tickets. I'm looking at 2nd May - 12th May or 27 May to 7 June but for some reason I'm getting overnight layovers and hardly any Lufthansa flights at all. I flew with Lufthansa about the same time last year and was spoilt for choice. I didn't even book till 4 weeks prior and there were loads of options. Same thing the year before. Has Lufthansa reduced their flights to Nigeria? What site do you use to search flights? I used Google and Skyscanner. |
How much did you pay for 4 days? Thegamingorca: |
Can I send someone to collect my passport in Abuja? If I give them my collection slip? What happens if I miss my capture date? Can I simply go on another date after the capture date? If I've started my application DIY can I then get a contact to facilitate earlier collection or faster capture? |
What happens if one misses the capture date? Can it be rescheduled after it has passed or before the date? Will one have to pay again? |
ekitimanalways:I filled the forms and submitted. I haven't paid. I attempted to retrieve it using the ref and app no. within a few minutes of submitting so I don't know why I can't get back to it. |
ekitimanalways:Yes. I copied and pasted. Can't attempt to retrieve without using both numbers. |
I just tried to pull up my application so that I can pay but it says not records found. Any idea what the issue is? I just submitted my application. https://track.immigration.gov.ng/ Thanks. |
Which center is better in Abuja? FCT or Gwagalada? For DIY or with agent? How long does it take and how much Please? |
I want to renew my passport in Abuja. I need it for March. If I pay online, can I get someone to help bring the date earlier and help speed up capturing and production? If I use an agent do I do the registering and paying online myself or they do that part as well? |
babajeje123:Home Schooling isn't common with Nigerians both in diaspora and back home; even amongst Nigerian Christians. However, amongst the oyinbos and particularly oyinbo Baptist Christians it's very common. There's also some black Christian families who home school but none I know are Nigerians. Some of these are now in University. One recently graduated with a first in Theology from Cambridge. It's a nice community from what I'm told and see. They have days out with other home schooling kids and it seems especially good for boys. Many people still view home schooling as weird and susceptible to abuse. I also viewed it with a lot of suspicion and never considered it a possibility until I met many families practicing it including a black family who were in regular education and then started considering home schooling and have now been doing it for three years and very happy. Below are some sign posts you might find helpful. https://chessuk.org/ https://christian-education.org.uk/ https://christianhomeschooling.education/ https://home-ed.info/ https://oscar.org.uk/resources/home-education-resources-general |
@Politeactivist, yes it was announced and in the press but was hoping to hear if anyone had tried it. |
Dear All, Is it possible to travel to Nigeria with an expired Nigerian Passport? There was announcement that it is permitted but has anyone actually tried and what happened? What is required?https://punchng.com/nigerians-abroad-can-return-with-expired-passports-nis/ |
