It wont be an error anymore...but an honest mistake...... he chose single because they were not married and ddnt know the civil partnership apllies to them at the time of the application.

It’s a risk worth taking but if I’m the ECO, it’ll be a hard sell… they had the time to cancel the application form and fill another one before biometrics…there was enough time if it was actually an error…
So the ECO may think this is an after thought or an arrangement to attach unqualified persons to his visa approval.

Please try your luck and I wish you favour…but show enough proof and attach a written explanation from your husband…

Hiw about this option: completely claim they are not legally married and leave their marriage certificate out of it....but claim partners living as couples...since enough proof is available to swing it as civil partner..

.......This way...They can maybe say that husband ddnt undertsand that his status is a common law partner status at the time of the application... which made him choose single at the time...

But the option of unmarried civil partners wasn’t ticked during application….and we need to confirm if the agent selected the option that the application form wasn’t filled directly by the applicant…
You can’t bring in agent at this stage if it wasn’t indicated earlier…

U will need water and air tight proof that u have been married apart from marriage certificate .e.g. Whats app chat..that date back 2 years or more, picture, statement showimg credit btw u both?? Birth certificate showimg both ur names...

.because the ECO will automatically treat u as partners...

If dependant intends to apply for professional jobs, then it’s better to get a NARIC/ECCTIS certificate on his/her degree certificate (please google how to do that)

Perhaps, employer is having contract issues with new clients and prospects…which is unfortunate. From what I understand, to get approval from home office to bring him oversea employees, sponsors must justify the roles they are coming to play…

Honestly, I’m at a loss. The agent would ordinarily ask simple details like marital status when filing a form. Let’s assume that date of birth etc will be on the passport data page, so he wouldn’t bother asking him, but marital status is very fundamental. There’s a whole section for it on the online application form…so he picked “unmarried” without recourse to your husband?? That’s either an annoying oversight or sheer wickedness…it’s an attempt to separate a family…
I don’t know how we can salvage that…because he would’ve ticked that the application was filled by the applicant himself…so any ECO (visa officer) would wonder if your husband didn’t remember his marital status at the point of application or what Maybe anyone can share a personal experience here…

Too late. He has been issued visa since last month even. We downloaded his application form to use his details and fill ours and saw it. The agent filled it. He didn't.

Hmmm…I don’t think you have to declare before traveling. Let me ask a few questions:
1. Was the pregnancy discovered at any stage of the job application/interview process?
2. Was it discovered before or after employment letter was sent?
3. Was it discovered before or after CoS was issued?
A 7-week pregnancy is under two months…

Some people don’t even know they are pregnant until after 3 months or so…

He has done no wrong so far as long as he stated that he’s married and mentioned his wife’s name. If he did, then you and your kids can just fill separate forms as dependants.
If he didn’t state that he’s married, then the story go long…

There won’t be any need to fill details of her kids…if they’re going with her, she will fill a new application form per kid.
Documents will be uploaded after she has paid her visa fee and submitted her application…the system will automatically take her to TLS website to book biometric appointment and select self service or assisted service option

I’m sure you meant 19 December 2022…

Though the entry visa is valid for 3 months but you’re expected to resume at work not later than 28 days after your employment start date (if you’re to resume on February 1, you mustn’t exceed February 28/March 1)…Anything later will mean a withdrawal of your CoS and visa cancellation…

This is a comical error…the test centres usually ask for your ID/international passport before the test and even at collection…so what do the check?

She should approach the clinic and explain her error (they were also culpable too)…otherwise, she may have to take another test…

Please help a brother. I got decision and brp letter on 27th of December, 2022 for UK skilled worker visa. I arrived UK on 11th of January, 2023. The challenge is that I was told my brp is yet to be sent to the post office when i checked yesterday (13th of January, 2023). Though, it's not yet 10 days I arrived UK but it's over 2 weeks I got my decision, I expect my brp to be ready by now.

Some of these questions are basic that a simple google search could’ve helped…people should put in some work. Apart from the gurus with personal experiences, most people that respond also do an internet search…

The visa fee is $312 for 3 years or less; and $472 thereabout for more than 3 years..

The process is on the site. You upload your bsc transcript and pay the fee using a dollar card. I can't remember the exact amount for visa fee. 472 or so

There should be an expiration date on the CoS…usually 30 days after it was issued. The danger is to apply with a CoS that has either been withdrawn by the sponsor or rendered invalid due to expiration
