salesbloo: You see why APC Governors are right
I can deposit 500K in 5 different bank accounts making 2.5m meaning old notes is still a legal tender .....since the deadline specified is April 10 . Alternatively if you have individual and corporate accounts ....500k in each account
On the other hand if the above scenario is not plausible because of BVN, instead of depositing it, since there are no new naira notes, I will just spend it .Why should I return them since there is no new naira notes and no deadline. Let continue to recirculate them, CBN want to scam us again. To get old or new notes you pay as high as 20%
Redesign Policy is completely defeated

Am I right or wrong? Who told you the deadline for the deposit of old naira notes is 10th April? Na so una go carry fake news confuse innocent people. Where in PMB's speech was the time frame for the deposit of old naira notes increased? The seven days grace period for deposit of old naira notes elapses today (Note that the 7 days grace is in the CBN act). If you are able to generate the code before it's expiration today, you can go to any commercial bank and deposit your old notes. |

Willie2015: . They will deposit it when a new regime entered. Emefiele and Buhari will be out in the next 3 months LOL. They don't need to deposit it, they should relocate to Kaduna and some of the states that have pronounced that it is still legal tender and use, shikena. |

Willie2015: Just look at the kind of directive...from a CBN Governor..How many people can CBN attend to... They had ample time to deposit their old notes, but they chose to trust their governor instead of Central Bank. The seven days grace period wil elapse today, and whoever hasn't swapped or changed the old notes can relocate to Kaduna state, and all the other states that have accepted the old notes as legal tender. |

It's ordinary Nigerians that will suffer this. Buhari, Emefiele, Tinubu, Atiku, Obi Kwankwanso, Sowore, etc will not suffer for it.....
When your oppressors convince you that they are oppressing you for your own good and you go about shouting "Yeah it's good like that let's see how the politicians will escape it"....they are laughing behind your back
Watch out for the worst vote buying on Feb 25.....all the new money politicians have been hiding will be spent on vote buying Atleast, it will be new notes and not old notes. No individual has upto 2 billion naira of the new notes. |

kingsways: All corrupt Governors are united in opposition to this laudable policy.
I heard (I do not know for sure cause I have not been to Benue for over ten years) that Ortom is one of the most useless Governors ever in terms of any real achievement I tell you my brother. Ortom is failure personified, from non payment of salaries and pensions, to no projects. If you hear that he has commissioned a road, do a background check, you will discover that he has enough plots of land on that road. |

Now people are scared to collect old note, new note not available, how do u sell, and how do you buy, not every business men and traders use POS. Let the business men learn how to use POS. My only problem is, banks have become a den of thieves, where your money can evaporate from your account and condense in their accounts without a trace, and nothing will happen. |

If the law is not properly interpreted by the appeal and supreme courts, and a fresh election ordered in the affected polling units, a lot of politicians will use it against their opponents. All they have to do is simply bribe Inec staff and make sure there's over voting in their opponent's stronghold, and gbam(from Kume's tribunal judgement), the elections in such polling units will be cancelled, rerun will not be conducted and the other person wins. Some people the interpret law in the opposite direction sha. |

Yes Father is a force, nobody, I repeat , nobody can stop in Benue state. He wouldn't have gotten the ticket if not for direct primaries, reason some of us are advocating for direct primaries as the only mode of primary election across all political parties. |

Anyways, APC candidates in Benue are people loved by the people the reason APC will perform very well in Benue A lot of enlightened people in Benue state are voting candidates, not political parties. I have candidates I will vote for, across four political parties because they can deliver. I suppose every sane Nigerian should do same. |

I know no matter what we say once Peter obi loses which is sure u lots will not accept that it’s free n fair
I guess the definition of free n fair is when obi wins? Stop crying over spilled milk. The new money policy has come to stay, the earlier we take our stashed cash to the banks, the better for us. Like the President said, no extension. |

Penguin2: Lol!
The highest Tinubu supporter in Nigeria right now…
Unfortunately he always fails.
He it was who tried to push for direct primaries as the singular means that all political parties must adopt to elect her candidates but Nigerians defeated the idiot.
Now he has started with insisting on extension of deadline for withdrawal of old naira note so that Tinubu can use the billions he stashed at home to buy votes; but as usual, O Ma Lule😜
Onye ala! His push for direct primaries as a singular means of nominating party candidates was the best amendment, if it had sailed through. Nigerians did not reject it, election riggers did. Direct primaries will ensure the best candidates are nominated instead of the "cash and carry" delegates that normally sell the masses mandate to the highest bidder. I see Nigeria adopting the direct primaries as the only process of nominating party candidates soonest. |

APC has been rejected in Benue State cos’ of heinous killings of innocent people in Benue State especially the villagers and farmers too. Tinubu of Muslim-Muslim ticket will be rejected in the poll too. Atiku Abubakar with huge Pdp structures will win Benue State for Pdp 99.9%. Atiku Abubakar is the people’s choice.
