chicfarmer:Ah ah! Which time you take give am Ada Nwam abi the delectable Abeke to McDonald Tlump as wife? ![]() Nor let his Eastern European wife hear am o. The White house oga just dey make mouth. If he really wants to hit those goons, why announce it all? Just finish the business before anyone knows. But the goons from ISWAP and Boko took it seriously. Now the goons have intensified their activities, fearing what lies ahead. And Trump may end up just imposing little sanctions or nothing. |
Tribalism and tribalism will not allow government organisations recruit brilliant people. We know education quality has plummeted badly, but lots of people yonder have very bad English. Even many highly educated ones. We should kukuma be using pidgin or vernacular. E go just better pass. |
It's now quite obvious that Nigeria needs a highly devolved regional system: North-East, North West, Middle Belt, Midwest, South West, South East and South-South. In all, 3 more Regions added to what we had before Biafra War. Back then, we had NR, WR, ER and MW. |
BBC wants to keep the British Corporation, Nigeria, intact. Even Charles as a prince, liked playing polo up North with those emirs and elites over there. The North serves their purpose. So Fulani jihadists can overrun the entire country and exterminate Christians and moderate Muslims, it's all fine. Just keep the Royal Niger Company going. |
constant1960:Even if a father is an ogogoro drinker, his advice can still be helpful to a child. Regina's dad knew Ned very well. Let Ned focus on getting Anioma state, so that he can be governor. He can get a younger babe from North Africa after that. ![]() |
ORIGENAL:Thank God he didn't have a weapon or do something life-threatening. |
Iceking1:You already partly answered your own question. Usually, from the position of Brigadier-General or Commodore, a lot of politics comes into promotion from there already. COAS is a very political position. The most political even. So, if somebody from 41RC is made COAS, like the current gentleman, it's not great to have too many Major Generals from 40RC or 39RC or earlier, who are his seniors by date of commissioning, to be under him. Even Brigadier-Generals commissioned before him may have to quietly go, too. The political move of retiring senior officers, who should be senior to the COAS, Chief of Naval Staff or Chief of Air Staff, ever so often, every about two years at times, is very costly to national wallet. At times, up to 40 senior officers are retired together across the three services. Prematurely. Their retirement packages run into billions of Naira. |
They will forget about the matter and turn it to Peter Obi matter. Just wait. |
Yet, Feminazis will expect everyone to mourn paternity fraudsters. ![]() |
dheolexaone:Well in that case, start from our mentors Abraham, King David and King Solo. Since God favour you pass them abi? And you sabi God pass them. |
Krismas:So, emilokan turn by turn presidency is what you have right now. You must be enjoying it already. Mr. Full-baked. Be swelling like Agege bread inside poto poto water. ![]() |
jaxxy:Well, he has conveniently blamed failure to ensure security on lack of national unity. His simple admission conceals a lot more details. Too politically explosive to say. Another thing he didn't admit is that the CDS commands no troops. So, Northern Christians and Southerners given that post are just figureheads. Retired Gen. Irabor for example. |
jaxxy:The army guy just admitted that security is impossicant. :So, folks, OYO y'all. ![]() There has never been unity and there will never be. You can be optimistic as much as you like. But reality will always rouse us from our slumber. We must admit the truth. They all know it, but the elite sharing oil money won't do the right thing. |
Krismas:I don't need to know anything in your view. Afterall, a well-presented research paper on Covid-19 or HIV would mean nothing to someone who did not even pass Biology WAEC. I write for more discerning readers here. National security means there will be Federal Police/Armed Forces. So, where does that exclude Regional Police? So all the banditry, boko and killings/kidnappings are not already wars to you? Your lack of understanding is to still believe 9ja has enough money. it doesn't. Even without corruption, 9ja does not have enough. Being rich in resources is not same as being rich. You must extract resources, and use it to diversify the economy over decades to see sustained and economically impactful results. That's assuming corruption is minimal/punished. You don't understand 9ja history and the circumstances under which 9ja gained independence. It was never meant to work and the so-called founding fathers were too divided to achieve anything. Only Awo openly admitted 9ja has no future together and he WORKED hard to lift up Western Region before the inevitable division in his view. Yes, Ahmadu Bello froze outherners out of Norther civil service but was employ Northerners in numbers and train Northern workforce to eventually control 9ja, through secondment to FG civil service, etc. Awo's support for FG during the civil war was opportunistic, strategic and circumstantial. People like you believe there is a quick fix, there isn't. A hundred Tinubus, Obis or Atiku's can't. They can try but the structural deficit is massive albatross. So we must begin with the most basic restructuring. People who are compatible can form regions together by consensus. Then negotiate in good faith from FG and regions those things FG has failed to deliver since 1970 when civil war ended. Then cede those responsibilities to regions. Resource control MUST be included. Regions keep about 60%, and 15% as solidarity contribution to aid poorer regions. The rest go to FG. People in former West Germany paid "Solidaritaet Zuschlag" to support rebuilding former East Germany/DDR after re-unification. Look beyond your shores and see how others have done it. Adapt to local peculiarities. |
Krismas:Local govt are not states. France taxes citizens highly but their income is ok. 9ja needs about 9 to 10 regions. With premiers. Regional ministers should already be elected members of the Regional parliament. So, you get ministerial/commissioner position only after being already elected as an MP. So for being a minister/commissioner, your MP income could increase by 50% for additional responsibilities, nothing more. No new retinue of political appointees. We must create an efficient political system considering we have little money relative to population. So, states and local councils can really work locally to provide local services people need. FG should focus on national security, armed forces, national currency/central banking, Federal crime, foreign affairs, etc. |
Her bestie who advised her to dump Kunle, Danladi, Osaze or Ike is now engaged to him. The marriage is tomorrow. ![]() And she realised too late that she's 3 months pregnant. Strangely, she was still having "some flow until this third month." Wahala be like bicycle. |
Zooposki:The type Eve used to bless the world from the garden of Eden, bah? Abeg, let's face reality. Humans are just humans. Perhaps women's health is just as precarious in 9ja as men's. All genders need to take their health more seriously. Although women are usually better at doing so. |
Mrfixitt:No Sir. This is a country making giant strides in all spheres. |
Woman Disunited. ![]() |
Unless there is a Pandemic going on or there's something unusual causing delays, 3 months to 1 year is enough. If the person died intestate, there is a cultural and traditional way of doing it. No single child should be in charge of the estate. Unless the Main family House, where the father lived/ancestral homestead. That's the first son's house in my culture. |
Very sorry to hear. My condolences. Do property investigation regarding what truly happened. Be strong for your family. |
LegendHero:This neo-imperialism is part of what cost Igbo Biafra War. Mid-West had no interest in the war between FG and Biafra. Until Biafra invaded Mid-West. The claim to be moving to invade Lagos was also non-sense. Why capture Lagos if all you needed was Biafra? The claim to put Victor Banjo in charge of Western Region as a puppet was also clever by half. Why maltreat non-Igbo people in Rivers and Calabar areas so badly? These neo-colonial outbursts make it difficult to trust Igbo with power. Even one that might be actually good. You can't be sure what he really believes in his heart. |
Blessedarethepe:I mean death. The chances of a man dying early is much higher. Military fighting in Sambisa, police ambushed all over the place, driving accidents, others doing risk jobs are usually men. If you leave a will exclusively to favour the kids, their mother will still manage to get her hands on the money/assets, especially if the kids are still young. But when a woman makes her own money through business, she uses her money well. Including to look after her children. Remember the man is always hoping the marriage will work. A man close to retirement may want to empower his wife before he retires. The lesson should be this: Men should be educated to find a balance. Never invest too much or too little. Of course, it depends on your financial muscle. Plan for a successful marriage, but also plan for when surprises could spring up. Invest for yourself quietly. If the woman messes up, fall back on your quiet/secret investment. This also applies to children. Don't forget investing for your future because you see your kids as your retirement plan. Most kids will not look after parents in the future. Culture has been eroded. |
olaric:It's because 90% of 9ja would do same or worse. Most engage in one corruption, bribery or kickback or another. So, 9ja's problem is VERY big. It's now more than just corrupt leaders. |
Blessedarethepe:You see, the reason men invest so much in their wives is because of the children. The idea is should the unexpected happen, the woman should at least be able fend the children. Otherwise, she might rush into a very bad marriage, where the kids might be abused or neglected. Not that most men don't know how unpredictable women can be. The simple advice is, if a perfectly intelligent plays mumu because of the children, please ensure the kids are truly yours. Imagine sacrificing so much to entitled women of nowadays. Then end up raising other men's kids would be a travesty. Do DNA test before making any sacrifice. |
GraceWilliams2:Well, hope Unity School cut off mark will now rise to like 130 plus like Anambra state origin students. No need to be like 65 for Kano again. Kano students are now brighter than Anambra students. ![]() |

I see no point in beating her. Just send her packing. |
ednut1:If you are from 9ja, unless very rich or you have scholarship, undergrad degree is not a good idea. Better come for MSc/MA. |

Even when the newly chief of army staff Is being promoted to a lieutenant General, which Is superior than a major general.
