Dynamic and energetic designs. The modern car (producers of the Rolls Royce), best selling luxury car for the past 20 years - hustler company.
Did u know, at one time car manufacturing was banned in Germany, BMW manufactured pots n plates to survive! At one time BMW nearly sold to benz but they decided to give it one more shot and today we have it
Benz has been riding for too long on its past accolades
that past accolade is the reason you are/feel safer in your beemer today, if not for Daimler inventing/innovating the ABS system that's standard on all cars now, maybe some people won't be alive today to post crap about MB. that same past accolade got MB F1 1st podium back to back since 2014 to 2016 whereas BMW won it last since 1983, same past accolade made Lufthansa seal a deal with Daimler instead of BMW...right, read up amigo
sesaan: I hope this will translate to affordable Ducati power bikes, I still have a dream to drive a bike in Lagos traffic as soon as my balls and liver grow to the right extent
relocate to Abuja ; the roads here is good and wide so you can do top speed ... Lol
PaperLace: I never said Japanese cars have better centre of gravity _ neither do I think centre of gravity is dependent on Japanese or German but what the brand has in mind.
Most sedans have low centre of gravity which I consider good enough. SUVs are actually more prone to rolling over because of their higher centre of gravity. They are better at head-on collision and have more balance while on speed due to greater mass...not for great manoeuvres (at least up to some limit).
What is the function of the (rear) axle? I believe to transfer engine power to the wheels and carry the weight of a vehicle. How does it come into play here? (That's in relation to poor centre of gravity _not comparison between FWD/RWD/4WD/AWD) Enlighten and correct me anywhere I am wrong.
I want to believe if you try your great manoeuvre with a German car that has poor centre of gravity, you will land inside the bush_ if not in heaven.
exactly @ Daimler has never built a car without low center of gravity; hardly would you find any German that does... matter of fact, you should say "thank you" to Daimler Benz for Inventing and innovating the ABS system that is now standard on all vehicle

just have your legal practitioner pen them a pre-suit letter and jejely go and submit it to any of their branch and watch how calls start rolling begging to retract your suit, while you sit sipping your red wine
xtivin: I advice you don't get a v6 engine for now, go for an I4 engine corolla with manual transmission. I see many people talk about speed, sometimes it's all about technique not speed. Driver matters.
A manual Corolla... seriously bro, i'm mad at you for suggesting a shitty car along with FWD, it's utter disrespect to manual tranny. next time you going to suggest a manual tranny... make sure it's a RWD. all you guys worry about is mizing fuel and leaving the fun out. i hope to never own a FWD...God help me.
tooth4tooth: Agility and Delivery of a car still boils down to speed even @1StopRudeness himself confirmed my earlier statement. I love speed too so when we smell ourselves, we know ourselves
i got you bro... you're a petrolhead...i got the part where he affirmed that . trust me bro, you haven't done speed like me. Fast and Speed ain't the same thing.
Notice how Speed is not in any of the synonyms in the pic below. i was being precise using that word "Agility"
Readonee35L: Why do you have to compare an abused rwd e550? Same applies to a 4matic with such faulty systems . It will experience almost same symptoms but traction will be a little better.
Besides having those electronic system off doesn't mean you'll spin out of control . For God's Sake the e550 is not even up to 450hp.
If you know how to drive . You won't get your self killed. People drive big block rwd V8 with twin turbo chargers pouring 1200hp . And they do just fine. This cars have no esp , vsc or even abs. It's just the driver and the motor . No computers . Complete drive by cable. Real drivers don't need computers correcting their errors for them.
We are in the generation where 80% of the population can't drive a manual transmission vehicle. Driverless cars are coming soon. What next?? Machines that will wipe our butts
Readonee35L: You are very correct. Whenever I get a sedan soon. I'm getting Vossen Staggered wheels.
Most people don't know what 4matic stands for. They just follow the badge . Any Mercedes Benz with 4matic is God lol...
The performance variant of Mercedes are Rwd....
nothing looks better than a staggered set with 2-3 degree of negative camber, it lets you put your foot more on the throttle around corners and the stance is just cool. when you get your sedan, be sure your car can handle the staggered sets or you risk damaging your drive train due to increase in gear ratio. but there's always a safe range to all that.
Readonee35L: Well . The Acura Tl Sh-awd has a 3.7L V6 ( more power ) against the normal front wheel drive trim (3.5L V6). The reason why i chose it is because of more Power and functions . It has more buttons.
I prefer the Rwd Benz Sedan against the 4matic. Reasons 1. Better Mpg 2. No worries of a damaged drive shaft (4matic) which is expensive to fix. 3. They are fun to drive . You can spin their wheels and drift them round the corner . 4. The 4matic has no use in Nigeria. We have no snow. And you can't even take it off road because the average Nigerian road will ruin the legs of your car so you won't even drive a Awd sedan with low ground clearance on such road. The only advantage is if you live in an area with lots of sand like around the beach or when you have snow. Aside that awd in sedans is a total waste. But it increases traction in drag races and less wheel spin.
Gracias Amigo... you do know your onions, i was actually wanting to know if your thought was same as mine. people on this part of the planet buy the 4matic for showoff, some don't even know it's purpose.
Do you know you can't run staggered wheel set on 4matic variant, as you can run whatever staggered set on the RWD.
It is always advisable to take so precautions before you plan to ride your machine in rainy weather as there are several factors that will not only affect the performance of the bike but will also make riding unsafe. Some of the serious issues that surface in rainy weather include slippery roads, pot holes, stagnant water, corrosion etc.
5 Most Important Safe Riding Tips For Rainy Season Your bike has a number of parts which you need to take care of so we will discuss a couple of tips which you can follow:
1)The most important of all the is to get your bike serviced timely. You would never want your bike to stall in heavy rains so better not miss routine servicing and check-ups.
2)The next most crucial part of your bike is the brakes which should be in good condition. Worn out pads or liners reduce the efficiency of the brakes and can lead to disaster. If your bike has drum brakes, get them cleaned from the inside and also replace the brake shoes/pads. For disc brakes do get the discs checked and also verify the level of brake oil.
3)After talking about brakes, it’s the tyres which play a very important role. You cannot use bald or worn out tyres in rainy season, so if the rubber is worn off, get the tyres replaced. The treads on a tyre provide grip and disperse water so make sure the treads are deep enough and are not only in the centre position but on the sides as well. A minimum of 2-3 mm of tread depth is necessary.
4)Tyre pressure also makes a big difference when driving on wet surface so regularly check the tyre pressure and we recommend keeping it a little less than the recommended Tyre pressure (PSI) levels in dry conditions.
5)Lubricate all the necessary hinges and levers so that they move freely
6 Most Important Motorcycle / Bike Care Tips 1)If you drive your bike too much in the rain and are concerned about its colour getting faded, get a Teflon coating before the beginning of monsoons.
2)Another advise is to wear knee pads and a helmet and also a waterproof jacket.
3)If you have a bike which has an uncovered drive chain, then you must oil it properly and wash it as a lot of mud will get deposited when you will ride it.
4)When you stop your bike for a purpose or want to park it, make sure you park it under a shed and not under the shade of a tree.
5)If the parking area near your house is not a covered one, do cover your bike with a proper sized cover so that the components does not get corroded.
6)Once you reach your place after a dirty ride, do not forget to wash your motorcycle.
The No1 thing to do when you fire up that baby is to warm up your tires evenly, don't just zoom of heating one point of the tire...do a side to side sway before hitting your desired speed.

shockwave: So there was this day I was headed to Lagos from Ilorin, Kwara State. I remembered there was this express road - Ilorin-Ogbomosho expressway. So me and my partner-in-crime, my twin brother decided to do something crazy about 1 year ago. My car which is a 2007 Mercedes Benz C280 4MATIC was just 9 months with me and delivers impressive performance, so we decided to give her the push of her life and see how she would fair.
We clocked to between 180-190km/h the first time, then we changed and I took the wheels. Lo and behold, this car surprised me with an impressive 209km/h and could have gone more if I had pushed further but then the sweet part of the road was finishing. The interesting thing was that this car was so damn stable and we could only feel little vibrations at over 200km/h.
We learnt quite a few things about car handling at the high speed. It was a costly fun though but it was fun. The car would normally consume about 15 litres of fuel from Lagos to Ibadan which is about 140-150km distance with A/c on and about 100km/h average speed. But on this day, we burnt that same amount of fuel just covering about 50km distance.
At the end of the whole frenzy, after another 1hr drive past oyo, we discovered the car started vibrating at speeds above 80km/h and kept flashing the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) caution. In summary, we got to the car checked the next day in Lagos and discovered the only tokunbo tyre I had on had failed and twisted, that was the reason for the vibration.
ipreach: I have been thinking since afternoon because of somethings I have being experiencing. I had a pregnant colleague in the office whom I always tell that she was carrying a baby boy in her womb but she blatantly told me that scam showed that it was the opposite but I refuse to accept the scam result, reason being that anytime I saw her I feel the presence of a boy.
Guess what.
Today she called that my prophesy has came to pass. She has given birth to a handsome BBB.
If it is true as you state, I believe you are gifted and in the psychological sphere, it is called "Vibe" and "intuition". You might have unknowingly unlocked a way to listen to it more or they're just resonating at really high pitch.
The brain thinks much more visually and intuitively.
God bless the new born, however... Pls endeavour to do a DNA test and maybe save us an after 32 yrs story that touch. Don't wanna see an old man wailing profusely.
