I work and live in Sagamu which falls in Ogun east senatorial district.

Contrary to general opinion , if you understands Ogun state politics you will know Buruji is not 100%loved by all ,especially the elites because of his shady past, but this man built his political career on large scale poverty alleviation and he won the 2015 senatorial courtesy the positive effects of his OMO-ILU foundation on the masses coupled with his collaboration with Ladi Adebutu (house of reps member representing Remo federal constituency also the popular Baba Ijebu's son).
While buruji had the Ijebu axis on lock down ,via his OMO-ILU foundation ,Ladi Adebuti conquered the whole Remo Federal constituency with his rural electrification campaign project( the guy bought and installed transformers in several villages with no prior access to electricity ).

He's a crowd mover and he has a very large crowd who have sworn allegiance to him ,so him been expelled from the PDP is a big blow.

Now let's talk about why he was actually expelled ,
Again contrary to people's opinion buruji wasn't expelled because of his commentens on PDP's loss in Ekiti state .

He was kicked out because he has been controlling a renegade faction of PDP in Ogun state for a while ,
and just recently the former governor of the state Otunba Gbenga Daniel reconciled wit him and that automatically swelled his massive crowd of followers, hence there was need for PDP at the national level to react.

How did he come about a renegade faction ?

Remember the Sheriff vs Makarfi brouhaha?

We all remember buruji was sheriff's number one supporter and was very vocal on his opposition to Governor Fayose and Wike who were Makarfi's backers .

So while the fracas was on, the party was divided into two factions by makarfi's and sheriff's loyalist.
Buruji controlled the sheriff's faction, while honorable Ladi Adebutu (Baba Ijebu's son) who is the house of reps member representing Remo federal constituency controlled the makarfi's faction.

After the court declared makarfi as the winner all of sheriff's faction , leaders and members across the
nation gave up their rebellion and decided to accept the decision in good faith but that didn't happen in Ogun state . because the battle for the Leadership of the party structure in the state was so fierce between Ladi and Buruji and its almost impossible for either of them to concede defeat cos this might equally affect their 2019 ambition.

So Buruji and his group got a court injunction that says they are the authentic leaders of the party in the state.

Subsequently the National party chairman
Uche Secondus made a press release saying he doesnt recognize Buruji's factional excos in the state ,but still They continued with their faction insisting on been the authentic leaders of the party in the state.

So ever since then there have been two different factions with separate Secretariats of PDP across all wards and local govt in the state .
they have different excos they have separate members and separate aspirants competing for the same positions using the same party logo and name PDP.

They hold meetings on separate dates and they have been having separates rallies and both claim to be the authentic PDP.

And also it is important you all know that both Buruji and Ladi Adebutu are governorship aspirants in the state under their respective factional PDP umbrellas.

So if this is either a blessing for Buruji ,or ladi's faction of PDp or APC or even ADC only time will tell .

Its very common to see Muslims and Christians cousins or siblings in one family.
It doesn't really matter or let's just say we don't really care.
Am Christian and have lots of Muslim relatives and I wouldn't vote for a candidate because of his or her religion. And its the same across many families

Playing the religion card will be a very stupid mistake for PDP to play in osun state cos the electorate won't buy it.

Its just like saying a university established by an Israeli is automatically a Christian university .

@Jukebox5...

It may look a hard nutt to crack but really it is not

Dis month i was in South Africa with my family for a vacation ..i had planned vacation to one of the balkan countries for summer holidays come Sept...

All i simply did was honestly applied our SA visa for tourist after d visa was issued i had applied to the balkan country who did not have an embassy here online n sent all document..during our holidays in jobug we visited Pretoria for d visa completion..

In ur case since u actually visiting SA for the Lithuania purpose n no prior plans of SA holiday..u wld need to apply SA normal short visa n include documents proofing Lithuania Embassy is expecting U along with every documents SA requires for short stay visa..

As for ur dad's statement..it depends on what u going to do in Lithuania..if u going there for vacation..almost certain with ur dad's statement u wlf be refused SA visa..it wld b hard to convince the VO u going to spend ur dad's money on vavacation in Lithuania ..ur statement wld be ideal if going to Lithuania for holidays so apply ur SA visa with ur own bank statment

Ya'll know nothing about the BEROMS .
They are the largest ethnic group in plateau state .mostly found in jos south, jos north, riyom and barkin ladi local governments .
The immediate past governor of plateau state Da Jonah Jang is berom. They are 100℅ Christians .

And for your information the Hausa's and Fulani's fear these guys more than the devil.
They don't trespass nor look for trouble but if you price them then be ready to pay in ten folds.
They have had this long term issue with the few Hausas/fulanis around them .and the Hausa's/Fulani's have always had themselves to blame for every single act of provocation against the beroms cos they repay every killing of their people in ten folds and it doesn't even make the news.
Trust me guys those Fulani herdsmen knows better not to dare attack these people.
And I know this cos I spend a year in berom land as a youth corper in 2010/11 during one of their bloodiest battles.

I get you .but my point is it's almost impossible to generalise camerounians cos its the only bilingual country I know in Africa (I mean where a certain percentage of the population speaks a particular official language and the other speaks another )but what I realised is that the anglos and francos are two different kind of humans entirely. While the French are more friendlier and honest to a fault most of English guys have this too wise too sharp attitude and approach to things .
Ugosample:

it's not issue of poisoning

its the way they are.

if that is the case, who then poisoned Nigerians?

Do you know that as at 2015, they were kidnappings in Cameroon, don't know whether it still happens

But hey, nobody hears about that? But once it's Nigeria, everybody will want to hear and "put mouth"

FroshJaynex:
I love this topic because just yesterday I was thinking about the same thing, I got to Botswana and in just 6month am worth more than $54,000 at least for a very broke boy from the street of Lagos, hustle to hustle carry me enter, I beg my fellow Nigerians to leave and try move into these coded countries, that's what I call them and see how big Nigerians are living and enjoying life on a low key, Many of them calculate in dollars. One yahoo boy #5m hit is my own bills in a month outside, u see say things are not the same at all.

Camerounians ? Are you referring to the Anglophones or the Francophones? Cos I lived there for about 2years and I stayed and had business dealings in both Anglo and francophone regions and can testify that most of the French guys are completely honest and trustworthy and for the anglophones the attitude of a fair percentage of them seem to have been poisoned by their fellow English speaking neighbours accros the border
Ugosample:

What surprises me the most about may beninois is their simplicity and the fact that they are not criminally inclined to the degree Nigerians and Cameroonians are (heck I don't even know who is worse among the two)

The fences are not gigantic
