I am a graduate of mass communication from BSU yet to serve...the course teaches you practical writing skills specifically for the media,it teaches you media theories,public Relations,advertising and ethics which is the most important...a linguist will have to learn all these to fit into any media organization. If you intend to work as a journalist,read mass comm. However,in Nigeria anything goes.
