One thing the guy forgot is that in student rotations, you don't interact with other proffesionals. In Radiography rotation you assist the Radiographer, same as MLS same a medcine same as dentistry and Nursing you can't write a prescription to patient so, you can't order a diagnostic tests.

For his information, he should ask his surgery unit how preopertative orders are made. How inpatient drugs are handled.

What you basically witness is outpatient. And the Pharmacist in duty won't dispenese and interaction that you should know. If you like as him for advice or not. He will only dispense what his best to his patients at apporiate dose.

I have been laughing here. U guys should finish your schooling and start practicing. You would not have the time for these kinda arguments because all you ll be thinking about is money and how to foot bills and probably how to japa. . On a side note, Danilo approached the case you presented better. You do not treat symptoms but you must manage a patient in line with the root cause of the symptoms. Different conditions could present with similar symptoms but require different management approach hence, we have what they call a diffrential diagnosis in clinical practice. These arguements arent necessary though . A med doctor may need to seek a pharmacist opinion in situations where he's doubtful about the application of a drug for a pt's condition and i guess that's where a clinical pharmacists comes in and i think they would have the necessary training to deliver as regards that role and i see no big deal for a med Dr to do that. Let's not allow EGO deprive pts seeking care from getting the best . Health professionals are not competitors but rather, a team . Make una go study una book jare , do graduate from school

Plus the excess from our senior Resident and consultant.

But u see phamarcist? They feel since they produce drug it means automatically they Sabi how to use it, nobody is dragging drug production and dispense with them but u see the HOW to use the drug is a bitter pill they need to swallow we are more oriented there.
