AreaFada2: Very wishy washy my dear. Pretending as though Malami didn't get clearance from Buhari.
Being overly diplomatic and political is obfuscation.
It's like trying to spread blame to others except Buhari.
Did he get the point of view of Buhari on the matter before this epistle? Enough of speaking from both sides of the Mouth.
The reason for SS and SE to stay out of it. Otherwise they will soon blame "outsiders" for fanning the embers of hate between SW and the North.
SW want Amotekun. The North says no. How hard is it to succinctly say where you stand on it? so assuming ure in his shoe and position u would have said Yes in support or No in against. that ll b very intelligent of u , don't u think so . |

donstan18: As usual, aside FFK and some few, hardly will you see a typical politician from the WEST hitting straight forward .
Just look at how he ended up saying nothing, busy beating around without condemning and supporting what should be condemned and supported.
To the gullible ones thinking Tinubu cares for them, do well to have it in mind that he'll choose the North over you lots just to get presidential ticket. I'm sorry to say, ure illogical and irrational if this is what u can come up with.. I guess ure from the east where people/leader talk anyhow and boast anyhow.. Jagaban was careful with his choice of words. I think he sits on the fence on this matter but he did not deny his people. beside let me ask u what will jagaban support or oppose do to SW gov movement to legalise ?? I guess u wish he condemned it so u will now use his word against his political ambition .lol He just disappointed u. he already answered people like u in the epistle , that is if u can read rationally. Respect to Jagaban. |

CSTR2: Lagos is the fifth largest economy in Africa. Look at how it looks like. What has fashola done as minister of power apart from talking? The rocket scientist himself.
What did osibanjo do as president? That buhari is worse, does not make osibanjo good.
A lot of people would look better compared to buhari. It wouldn't take much effort. if u don't know what and how effective Osinbanjo was then, don't think I can help u. I'm sorry. so says the man who said Fashola is just an orator. and the only thing u know about Fashola is Power failure all this while.. Meanwhile that the best/lasting solution wasn't deliver I think I enjoyed improved power supply compared to past govt through u av internal problem bro. I'm tempted to guess ur state/Region right.. Thank God u agreed Lagos is the 5th economy largest city. so it was a mere and a mediocre achievement right, and u think such rank can b archive automatically.. just go.. |
Politics › Re: Osinbajo: Nigeria To Work With Other Countries To Improve Economic Opportunities by danilmo: 12:06am On Jan 22, 2020 |
CSTR2: He just talks a lot but with very little effectiveness. He and fashola are educated orators with very little practical impact. His trade mark policy is the trader moni. That is poor.
The only advantage both men have over buhari is that they can talk like educated people.
If you chalk up his ineffectiveness to the nefarious cabal, it is understandable. But claiming he has done a lot is just self deceit.
He has done nothing but talk.
He is better than atiku and namadi sambo though. At least he does not shy away from intelligent discourse. Guess u aren't in this country wen he was the acting presido. Beside did u just call Fashola Mere Orator?? No le lagosians catch u for road o. . Though I belief things was beyond his control as regard Ministry of Power which made him voiced out , but of Work and Housing. Top notch . Meanwhile their is little u can do as a messenger. shallom |

Was Awolowo not a national leader, did he not take positions that first safeguard the interest of his people? Was Tafawa Balewa not a national leader, did he no stand up for his people when it mattered? Is Tinubu more of a national leader than Buhari, has Buhari not been protecting the interest of his region since God knows when?

Yoruba can't do such, no b gra gra, beside how many top leaders in Igbo openly supported ipob . How many Gov dare support openly?? hmm if Yoruba want such thing, they ll tactically get it, did u really think Python dance scenario can happen in SW, never. Why? because Yoruba are too sophisticated.. u see Gov.Akeredolu & SAN Falana and co tilting towards law ready to hold FG balls in support of Amotekun. Amotekun was formed by all Swest governor combo of APC and PDP Gov.. I love Igbo but they lack the Yoruba tactics to get what they want.. they should learn wen to b calm and wen to fight, they ll b taken serious.. Wen they said a patient Dog eat the fastest bone u taught it was a mere saying, u guys should learn how to calm down, today is u want president, tomorrow is Biafra, tomorrow is referendum. bro u guys should relax and define hr want, they tactically work it out. DMerciful: Power eventually belongs to the people. SE governors are in opposition parties so afraid of witch hunting. The average Igbo man want quick fixes that's why they dont like Ohaneze slow approach instead want Kanu quick approach which has high probability of failure, same thing Ojukwu did( he could have delayed the war to get more allies). If Tinubu keeps silent and peradventure he gets presidency, the North will cage him and possibly make his govt ungovernable if he does anything against Northern interest. Being a Nigerian president is not the ultimate but forcing a sovereign national conference so we can renegotiate our existence and adopt a new constitution north cage jagaban?? u don't know Tinubu. his too strong, educated, technocratic and diplomatic than that. lol.. no do o biko. wen gentle Osinbanjo took over from buhari did u see any sign of weakness, much more of jagaban that fears nobody.. all he longs for is power before u fight. |

LegendHero: Tinubu is not anti-restructuring, most of you guys don't understand Tinubu. The Yorubas most times are realist and we always explore all channels before going for the target. Tinubu currently cannot show his true color because power needs to be wrestled from the North.
Forget about his culture of silence, in the background he is supporting Amotekun and without him granting the governors the go-ahead they wouldn't have pull it through. Afenifere is weak, they are not the old Afenifere and it will be hard for them to front for the SW. They don't have any power in the West to bargain for the Yorubas.
Ohanezes also don't seems to have the power. Your governors are the one that still have some power to effect changes but I am not sure if they can come together to push for something of such. Having a leader sometimes is good because it will be very easy to rally people for a common good. You a true oduduwa son. only men of great insight will know the mindset of tinubu. people think him been relevant since out of govt was by gra gra. they are all strategies.. he's never happy seeing molestation on his people but like u said( exploring all channel before going for a target). stickle: It is easy to be emotional about some of this things. But a little understanding of how things work in this country will reveal to you why BAT silence is for his good. he has political ambition and whatever he says or do now will count against him. He is a political leader. Yoruba proverb says ' if you are yet to possess the matchet you can't start asking the kind of death that kill your father's. If Tinubu is bit in support of Amotekun, Lagos State government wouldn't have supported it. Even his enemies will be pushing him to commit blunder. On the other Note: Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba and other ethnicity in our beloved Naija it's time to put the hating and tribalism aside, our generation needs to grow further away from such mentality instilled in us through colonialism and dirty politics. If we continue as we have all these years those politicians will never be held accountable. We're practicing Democracy and have failed woefully as learned folks to know that true power belongs to all of us not the few thief's claiming to run our nation... it's time we stand as ONE or get squashed like scattered ants this theory will not work out with aboki in power. let tinubu be calm, support him till he get to power , our vote alone wont do that, we also need aboki support .. after watch him make orders without fear or losing or did u have any better option aside tinubu in the south?? or can the south alone produce president without aboki vote, or are u not tired of aboki in power. |

He's now divided between Amotekun, the security of his own people and his political ambition. Only time will tell whether the blood of his kins men is worth his presidential ambition. However, Tinubu's continued silence in matters of security of his own people that saw the formation of Amotekun shows that he's truely nursing a presidential ambition.
