Administer the precribed drug
Keep eye on patient in case of any change
Help doctor to hold scissors and towels in theater.

Because they don't train to be nurses? Because their university degrees are given to them in their houses? Why can't you try and take jamb and go in and see how easy it is? Even if you have to go through Schools of nursing - which I think are supposed to have received a better government attention - before you move up to a degree, the process of acquiring required knowledge for a nurse is not an easy one. Are you saying they just go to work to say 'yes sir/madam'? Everyone of them have their individual role in delivering healthcare services. They work as a team. To the best of my knowledge, everyone is paid base on the uncommon knowledge they can deliver..
Even Doctors earn more than each other, A neurosurgeon vet paid more than a Gynecologist.
