derpkunta:A huge huge CONGRATULATIONS; it's all God's grace |
Good-day house pls does anyone has any possible payment channel for uni-assist? and at what exchange rate pls? Thanks a lot |
Chisodan:Apply for a study visa, but before doing that, you have to secure your admission first, so start searching and applying to schools immediately. Once you're given admission, then proceed with visa application immediately. Your Nigerian sponsor wouldn't be recognised by German authorities or else he/she would pay the required €8000 into a blocked account for you. If not then the better option would be for your German-resident uncle to send you a sponsorship/obligation letter (called Verpflichtung). Stating that he'll cover your stay for the time you'll be studying; and of course he should be earning enough to do that, if he doesn't earn enough, the German Authorities over there will not issue the form to him. Hope this helps I pray the best for you |
diggy4real:Stop bothering yourself with all that; just tell the notary officer to certify you document, they know too well what to do. The stamp says Certified TRUE COPY, that's why it's being referred to that way. And well, I think it might actually be the same stamp you're referring to. As long as your docs are genuine, you really have nothing to worry about. |
Jeffhardy3000:Both sir. However, mandatory is your application form dully filled and signed, as well as your international passport; without any of these, you won't get your documents certified. Also, the photocopies should be arranged in same order as the originals. Personal advice, pls get there at least 30mins before the given for cut-off time (which is usually 10am these days) |
OJCITY22:Go online and book your appointment with the German Consulate; certfications are done from Mondays to Wednesdays, and they are free of charge with maximal numbers of 5 sets per day. Arrange your photocopies in same order as your originals However, if you decide to use the court, you can also do so. Lagos high court charges 200 per page. Another option is the British Council (NOT Embassy); they charge 1000 for the first 5 pages, and 500 for subsequent 5pages |
idrisaleo1:Your uncle should try using the word "Verpflichtung"; that's what it's called. It is more of a form than a letter; it's actually an obligation form, he gives them your data and his data as well, they fill it into the form, then he sends it to you. It should cost him about 25Euros. If you still need a pix of it, google Verpflichtung I really hope this helps |
Good morning good people pls does anyone know the current visa fee please? @Abuja embassy precisely. Thanks a lot |
Nosky247:Exactly!! and I also sincerely do not understand what it is with this 'seal' stuff. Has any school asked you for seals on your certificates to make them authentically certified? Pls why pay a "whooping" 2500 for something not necessary? Just get to the embassy with your original documents, and application form and they'll certify everything free of charge; except in cases that the embassy is not open to that (like on Thursdays and Fridays). Even at that, the British Council certfies documents at about 200 or 100 per page, and if you don't want to use that, you can still use the High Court at 200 per page. I really don't understand the need for the seal; for all schools I have applied to, none has ever asked for a seal, whether on the first or last page; so just drop it. Pray the best ahead for you. |
honourableseyi:How did I book? I received my admission letter from my school sometime last month; though I think that was late considering other schools that were already done with enroll ment. I immediately forwarded the mail to the Consulate, explaining that my admission letter just arrived with the letter attached to the mail; that was the only attachment I used. They replied with a week notice for my interview, I responded, pleading that 1 week won't be enough for my preps, they quickly responded, this time with 3 weeks ahead and asked if that was ok; I affirmed. Btw, thanks for your response |

Good morning house, pls does anyone have an idea of the current price for dhl or ups prepaid envelope? have a nice week ahead |
pls house, my visa appointment holds soon and I want an urgent response pls. I have a sponsor resident in German, do I need the original document from him or is the scanned copy good enough? I'm trying to consider the time it would take for the document to get here. pls urgent assist needed |
sd39:Thanks a lot for the prompt response. Please what is the cost, and how did you go about getting it? |
pq007:Nope. Sometimes, you might want to certify documents for more than one school, that is, you might be applying to various Universities, and each need their own set of certified documents. The Consulate can certify more than one set for you, but to a maximum number of 5 sets of documents. This is because earlier we used to go to Consulate with as much as 7 or some even 10 sets of documents to various Universities, and the officer-in-charge would spend so much time just certifying one person's set of documents, thus they had to limit it to 5; and if you want to submit to more schools, then you'll have to do a fresh booking. Hope you clearly understand |
sd39:pls did they ask for any Insurance documents? Is health or travel Insurance still mandatory or necessary for the interview? |
jbonito:Go to the Consulate Website, and book an appointment for CERTIFICATION of DOCUMENTS under Legal and Consular Affairs. Book a date from those available, and try to be there on that date before 9am with a printout of the mail you'll get and all originals of your documents along with your International passport and photocopies of the documents arranged in the same order as the original. You can only certify 5 sets of documents on each booking. Hope this helps |
napoleonsmart:pls house I just replying on this with a similar situation. Just received responses from about 3 schools offering me admission, however the consulate website says no more applications for this year. How do I go about my admission? |

The University is TU Chemnitz; pls does anyone have an idea of what this test looks like. Thanks a lot for every assistance. |
honourableseyi:My grade is 2.9 I think you're right by saying there might be some things I'm not doing right, but that's exactly what I'll like to know; for I must of needs get it right this time by God's Grace. Thanks a lot for every assistance |
Tesland:Unfotunately, I have not written my B2 exams, but would do so in July, I however wrote the last B1, making just 2 out of 4. I want to apply possibly for an English taught course, (I had written IELTS in 2013 getting a 7.0) but I still want to know if my ssce is sufficient for BSc application or if I must include my BEng. Also is there any possibility of getting an admission for an MSc? Thanks a lot for every assistance |
funkys:Good-day everone pls I need an urgent assistance I'm a graduate of Engineering (Elektronik/Comm) B.Eng second class lower, I graduated in 2005 and I want to further my studies in Germany. I have applied for the past 3years now but have been turned down. I'm not sure if it's my grades or the German language. However this year I have decided to apply for BSc in either Information Systems or Engineering. I have some years of work experience in the Banking sector, I have also completed private classes in A2 to B2 German language classes, but I don't know if I should apply with only ssce (cos its since 97) or if I should still apply with my BEng |
