grin shokpori how are you? Let me explain it to you in simple clear terms grin

Well, He has suffered a Cyprus entry refusal and was deported despite being a student in a school of Cyprus. Whatever the reason that was given was not stated in writing by the Cyprian authorities and is therefore a blank check to be misinterpreted. grin

If this were the only problem, God for send holy ghost come to find way touch ECO heart small grin

But you see,

The problem now is that he acquired that Cyprus entry refusal/deportation immediately after he had suffered 2 UK refusals.

Maybe you think he needs to speak "Omo yoruba", instead of oyinbo English grin with the ECO in explaining himself further. But let me tell you now, that you see his Cyprus waka and his UK refusals are a huge red flag to surmount in his next application. The ECO can afford not to even look at his application and outrightly refuse him.

Maybe it never clear for your eye shokpori grin that bornboi has what is called a bad travel that is glaring and so conspicuous for the whole world to see.

grin grin this is something a mere unbacked explanation laced with desperation would not solve, wouldn't you agree shokpori?

He will need to calm down, tour round every ECOWAS country atleast once grin before I will advice him to brave the gates of UKVI website.

You said I have 2 UK refusals?

OK. Declare this information on your visa application, because there is no way you can hide it, your passport will be scanned. Also, you may need to explain why and how it happened in a brief. I wish you the best.

Alright bro, thanks!

I was told at port of entry that my name was not in the school system while I have my acceptance letter with with me showing deposit of $1k I paid. It was fraustrating though I was not the only person, we're about 6 in number that day. Worst part be say they don't understand English and they will never give chance to explain yourself.

Cyprus immigration denied me entry, I want to know if this a red flag while applying for UK visit visa. Please someone should advice me on what to say on the form where they ask if you have travel to any country before, or should I go and enroll for another passport.

christhavemercy:
UK refusal story

I just got my second visa refusal from UKVI.

The first one was refused with reason of ‘huge unexplainable’ amount (1,050,000) that showed in my statement. This is my house rent which came in and out (same day) of my statement.

Ok.. lesson learnt, no lump sum.

But this second refusal is shocking to me, see reason;
“”You state that you are employed earning 444602.98 NGN per month (£815.7 @ exchange rate £1 = 489.269 NGN). I have carefully considered the documents you have provided in support of your application.
You state you personally intend to spend 800000.00 NGN (£1,467.74) on your trip to the UK. I note that your proposed expenditure far exceeds your monthly disposable income. This degree of expenditure appears disproportionate to your economic circumstances, leading me to doubt your intentions in seeking to visit the UK for the limited period and purpose stated“”

After noting that my husband will be sponsoring the entire trip and including his pay slip and statements which far exceeds my own by many multiples, he has a UK visa already. He’s livid because we both can’t understand this reason.
I also included my payslip, salary account and savings account with above 3.7m (6 months, no lump sum deposited, opening bal 3.1m)

Joor oo.. please house where did I go wrong in this application? I applied for 6 months visa for a 7 day stay (honeymoon). Is spending less than double of your net income a reason for refusal? I checked the Appendix V as the highlighted and it’s not showing anything like that. It’s like this UKVI personnel thinks Naira is as valuable as Pounds
How much should have been appropriate?

Also why wasn’t I refused the first time for that reason even though I stated that I would be spending 1.2m with the same salary.

Kindly advise me for future sake (or learn from me), although I won’t be applying to UK for a long time for my personal sanity.

Please u no do anything, mine still shocking me till today, they give very unmeaning reasons. Ukvi visit visa is just like a football bet, just apply and be hopeful you win the match. Because you can still correct your error from the first application, then while applying for 2nd one it will fall under another useless person with another reasons.

U no lie bro, I can't believe I will be deny visa on my second application. All my supporting
documents are clean, valid and complete. The reason for my second refusal was just rubbish. ECO will always look for a means to deny you visa. They are just eating people's visa fee for nothing.

hunee:
I really want to drop this here.
It is a personal opinion, and not expected to amount to any disparity or divisions.
You are free to drop a comment, however.

The spate at which UKVI has been refusing tourist visas is becoming very digusting.
More suprising, is the common trend of denying visas for same reason.
In my honest thought, i feel people should just slow down on this Uk for some time.
If you consider the amount of resources that goes into this process, at the end, refusal will be the outcome, applicants will see some validity in my opinion.
If there is too much work load, and ecos do not have time to properly go through documents, before refusing visas, i think people need to begin to shine their eyes.
OR maybe they have streamlined the visa quota for Majorly student visas, because i really can not imagine this.

I wish everyone the very best in their applications, but this is just my personal observation, and should not deter you from trying your luck.
Because, it is what it is now, it is a game of luck.
Even the best applications do not get approved, na God dey run everybody work now.

Oluwa don run am for you. Big congrats

Seunara101:
Guys this is what I got from my email this afternoon

Your application for a UK visa (vignette) has been successful. This letter is not a permission to
travel to the UK.
Before you can travel to the UK, you will need to collect your visa. Please do not attempt to
travel to the UK until you have collected your visa.
We will contact you when your visa is ready to collect from the visa application centre
where you submitted your application.
Please do not visit the visa application centre until you are contacted.
This letter explains that when you arrive in the UK you will have permission to be in the UK (known
as Leave to Enter) as DEPENDANT PARTNER from 20 Dec 2022 to 01 Jan 2028.
What this means for you
When you collect your passport/travel document it will contain a visa, which you will use to travel to
the UK. The visa is valid for 90 days and you should travel before the visa expiry date. If you do not
arrive to the UK within this 90 day period you will need to apply for a visa transfer, the fee for which
can be found at www.gov.uk/visa-fees.
What you must do after arrival in the UK
After you arrive in the UK you should collect your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). This is the
evidence of your permission to stay in the UK and you will need to use it to prove your right to
work, rent a home and to access public funds and to travel from the UK. You must collect your
BRP from the collection point below before your visa expires or within 10 days of arriving in the UK,
whichever is the later.
If you are required to quarantine in line with UK government guidance, please do not visit your
collection point until after your quarantine period has expired. If this takes you beyond your
vignette expiry date, your BRP will be held at your collection point for 90 days from the start date
on your vignette and will be available for collection once you are able to collect.
We recommend that you follow the COVID-19 immigration and BRP advice on GOV.UK:
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-advice-for-uk-visa-applicants-andtemporary-uk-residents

Hello all.
I did biometrics and submission of documents at TLS on the 15 of august and I got a mail that my application has been transferred to the DMC. Till date I’m yet to get any mail concerning my application.
I tried reaching them on their number but I can’t seem to get anywhere with it.

I got this email (image attached) on the day i did my biometrics. When tracked it showed that my application has been transferred to the DMC.
