olumide098: You can get alternative health insurance. It's allowed. School insurance is much oo That's depending on the school and state. My school don't allow alternative health insurance, and the whole university in this state use one health insurance company. It just seem like they signed an agreement with the company. |

MrMann1: Thanks. It is also mandatory I have it before classes. Pls how did you go about the medical insurance. For my school, you pay for the insurance along with your Tuition. You can't get alternative insurance, you only buy the one made available by the school. I don't know how your own school do theirs. |

MrMann1: My admission letter mentioned that "... All first time student will be required to have the meningitis vaccination or an approved exemption prior to attending the class". Pls guide me through. Thanks I didn't take the MMR in Naija, reason based on I didn't get a hospital where I can take it, but I took it here and it was billed to my health insurance company, So since you are paying for insurance, it's better you take it when you get here. Its mandatory for my school before you register for classes, i Don't know about your school |

amanze15: "CPT/OPT: CPT/OPT is a great way for international students to get hands-on experience in the United States. After completing 9 months of study and with academic department approval, international students are eligible to apply for up to 12 months of CPT which allows them to accept internship or co-op positions prior to graduation. The OPT program is a temporary on-the-job training position, which is directly related to the student’s field of study. The purpose of the program is to give students practical work experience in their major field of study" Thank you, but can I be doing the CPT until I graduate? |

Professor554: Thank you bros. People are just getting me scared. When i asked a vo on one of this threads, he denied it and said visa is all about your ties but its as usual, they will debunk it but it might be actually true Boss, take every advice you get from the big bosses here. One of them asked you to get admission with a four year university, use their I-20 to get your visa but when you get to obamaland, you can transfer to a community colleg, as simple as that. Your chances of getting a visa with a community college i-20 is very very slim.. Na my 2 cent be that.. |

oganlalasokun: Hello gurus, I visited stanbicIBTC bank today and asked about how much rate they charge if I use their bank MasterCard in the US. I was told they will charge the normal rate of 199 naira per dollar with a maximum monthly withdrawal limit of $750 cash on ATM. Can is be true ? I mean 199 naira/dollar ? Boss, that is a broad day light robbery o . I used my GTB card on Walmart yesterday and I was charged 300 for each dollar. I doubt any bank will give you that rate of 199.. |

JoyPaulLaw: I really don't think its possible to study B.S Nursing in the USA. They do require some docs Nursing License. My sister is also applying to one of the Sch u out up there and I must confess dia admission process is easy. if you studied in any gud nursing school back in naija, and you have your RN, you can apply for a two yr top up program to get a BSN. |
Travel › Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 8 by dannybrown19: 9:04am On Feb 23, 2016 |
JoyPaulLaw: What I'm trying to say is: Applying for BSN may not be easy in the USA as some schs require Nursing License and the tuition fee is a little higher than other courses. Almost all the schools u list out there have a VERY EASY admission process. Applying for bachelors degree in nursing is like applying for any other course. Their tuition fee is always the same even without a prior knowledge of it. When you graduate you get to write an exam to be a registered nurse in whatever state you wanna practice |
