This one happened during my second year in UNN. Person like me like to enter school first week of resumption so as to prepare well for the new semester.

The next day I jam one girl wey we for sabi for one of those GS courses. She told me she was the only person in her room and her roomies told her they will be coming next week. She tell me say she go dey very lonely, so make I try stay with am. This na hostel o! But of course, no be first time girls dey sneak in guys.

I tell am say I go come. So by 6pm I dress up enter road. There was nothing like mobile phone back then so I went straight to her hostel. She was already waiting even before I knocked the second time. Her hostel was really deserted. Na only she dey her floor.

We begin gist o. She prepared better food that night ehn. Around 10pm while we were still gisting , we heard some noise downstairs. Gbos gbas, gbos gbas! Doors being kicked downstairs and the footsteps seems to be coming upstairs. Ol boy my mind begin shake. Cult boys o! The girl grabbed me tight as if I be superman. My mind was like "which kind thing be this now" I pinned the chair to the door handle in case dem try our door.

It's a good thing the light was switched off so it doesn't look like anyone was inside the room. Na so I hold the girl, two of us lie down for bed. Two bodies shaking like harmattan leaves. She was praying silently while me dey try to form hard man by telling her "babe nothing will happen" everything go dey fine.

Dem begin kick doors! Gbas gbos , gbas gbos! Getting closer to our own door. I nearly peed on my jeans, but it was inevitable. We saw our door get kicked once, twice! E no bulge. The chair hold the door wella. They continued kicking but the door no gree, na so one of them talk say make dem leave that door, say the occupants no dey resume early.

Na so dem leave o. If you see the kind sweat wey two of us being sweat ehn. Na so we just lie down. I hold am tight till next morning.
She park her things run go her guardian place for town until students return fully.
